According to his attorney, Hernandez was apprehended by ICE agents while walking to work on the morning of August 11.

Hernandez has no memory of what happened after two men ran after him and brought him down with what he believes was a stun gun or Taser. He woke up at the hospital with massive facial bruises and injuries suggestive of blunt force trauma.

Two ICE agents lingered at his bedside during his hospitalization, preventing him from speaking with his doctors privately. Hernandez says he asked the agents what happened to him, but they claimed they did not know.

Hernandez's family was unaware of his whereabouts for three full days.

Later, ICE personnel fitted Hernandez with an ankle monitor and discharged him. But his symptoms persisted, forcing him to return to the hospital. Doctors diagnosed him with a traumatic brain injury and renewed brain bleed, but were unable to perform the MRI he needed due to his ankle monitor.

Jose Mejia Hernandez and his family deserve answers and accountability from ICE—but most urgently, he needs medical care.

As of Tuesday, August 18, Hernandez still requires an MRI and further testing for his injuries.

Trump promised no more foreign wars, but may actually be the one who delivers a nuclear holocaust that would likely drag the entire world into major conflict, economic depression, and mass human suffering we’ve never seen in our lifetimes and maybe throughout history.

When you have the politicians offer solutions to the poor that the solution to their problem is more dependence on the government then that becomes a problem.
When you have the politicians try and defund the police there is more crime..
When you have judges releasing criminals to the streets citing restorative justice then crime soars.

Decades and thousands of studies show that high poverty rates lead to high crimes. It’s a no brainer.
Low education rates, lack of infrastructure and limited access to resources will create desperate conditions where erstwhile reasonable people abandon reason in pursuit of survival.
