They have been closing polling sites, gerrymandering districts, suspending more than a million registrations.

On September 11, 2001, Jason Thomas, a Black former U.S. Marine, learned that planes had struck the World Trade Center. He put on his Marine uniform and headed toward Manhattan to help.

At Ground Zero, Thomas entered an extraordinarily dangerous environment of smoke, fire, unstable debris, and collapsed buildings. He began searching the wreckage for survivors, calling into openings and listening for anyone who might still be alive.

During the search, Thomas met another former Marine, Staff Sgt. David Karnes. Together, they moved across the ruins calling out for survivors.

Eventually, they heard voices.

Buried beneath the wreckage were Port Authority Police officers Will Jimeno and Sgt. John McLoughlin. The officers had become trapped after the South Tower collapsed. Thomas and Karnes located them alive, and their discovery helped bring the larger rescue effort to their position.

Jimeno and McLoughlin were eventually pulled from the rubble alive.

Thomas didn't stop there. He continued returning to Ground Zero for roughly another two and a half weeks, assisting with the search effort. Afterward, he returned to his life without seeking fame or recognition.

For nearly five years, his full identity remained largely unknown to the public. Those connected with the rescue knew him simply as “Sgt. Thomas.”

Then, in 2006, Thomas saw a television commercial for Oliver Stone’s movie "World Trade Center". The film told the story of Jimeno and McLoughlin and depicted the Marines who helped locate them.

Thomas recognized the rescue immediately.

But there was a major difference between the movie and reality: Jason Thomas is Black, but the actor portraying him, William Mapother, is white.

The filmmakers had not known Thomas’s identity when the role was cast. After Thomas came forward and his identity became known, producer Michael Shamberg apologized to him for the inaccurate casting.

Thomas, however, did not want the casting controversy to overshadow the rescue itself.

Years later, while discussing 9/11 with his son, Thomas recalled a lesson his mother had taught him: “You are your brother’s keeper and never leave your brother behind.”

Jason Thomas didn't know the two officers trapped beneath the World Trade Center rubble. But on one of the deadliest days in American history, he put his Marine uniform back on, went toward Ground Zero, and helped find two men who were still alive.

And for years, much of America didn't even know his name.

So why would a conservative want a liberal?

Conservative men believe women should stay second class citizens.

For example they want to bring back one household vote where the head of the family casts the vote for everyone. In conservative and in fact most households, men are still the heads of the household. So invariably by bringing back that law, women’s rights to vote will be inevitably taken.

Conservative men believe women’s primary responsibility should be childbearing. Anything outside of that is secondary if even allowed.

They believe they should have the final say and the woman is only there to support. Should she have a different opinion that doesn’t align with his, it has to be discarded in favor of his POV even if it makes her miserable.

Conservative men’s mentality is outdated. However when they see women who already view themselves the way conservatives want them to, why are they not attracted to that?

This has been a thing since Trump won and many sensible women are distancing themselves from twisted minded folks who support him. Now they have to lie in order to get ahead in the dating game.
