N power and other social security schemes are not the cure to poverty and unemployment. At best, they are only managing your poverty.
Vote for Atiku so that your poverty can be cured.

Education / Re: Top 10 Poorest States In Nigeria – See Which Tops The List! by cocu25(m): 12:52am On Apr 03, 2016
MrXlim5618:
Poorest states in Nigeria – According to the National Bureau of Statistics, these 10 states are the poorest in Nigeria with over 70% poverty rate. A survey carried out on the bureau’s website, disclosed that Sokoto remains the poorest state in Nigeria with an 81.2% poverty rate.

1. Sokoto

Sokoto has unfriendly climate conditions with temperature going as high as 45C on a normal day. Most part of the state are rural areas and over eighty percent (80%) of the inhabitants of Sokoto practice one form of agriculture or another.

2. Katsina

Katsina is a state in North central Nigeria and has the highest poverty prevalence amongst all states in the region.

3.Adamawa

Formed in 1991 from the extinct Gongola state, Adamawa has of late been terrorized by the Boko Haram terrorists, disrupting it’s economic development and growth.

4.Gombe

Gombe is another North eastern state which suffers sporadic attacks from terrorists.

5.Jigawa

6. Plateau:

Plateau State is the twelfth largest state of Nigeria haunted by some terrorist attacks and tribal clashes from time to time, especially clashes between Fulani herdsmen and its inhabitants.

7.Ebonyi

Ebonyi is the only south eastern state among the top 9 poorest country.

8.Bauchi

9. Kebbi

10. Zamfara

Recently the governor was blasted for the “alarming scope of economic dangers and its potential threat to the economic development of the state,” by the Zamfara Budget Working Group.

Niger is the state with the lowest poverty rate which is 33.8%. It was followed by Osun (37.9%) and Ondo (45.7%).

Bayelsa (47%) and Lagos (48.6%) have less than 50% poverty rate.

The average poverty rate in the Northwest geopolitical zone is 71.4%, which remained the highest in the said area. It is followed by the Northeast region which has 69.1% and the North central region which has 60.7%.

Poverty was least dominant in the Southwest (49.8%), South-South (55.5%), and South-East regions (59.5%).

Autos / Re: Do You Know Your Tyre Has An Expiry Date? by cocu25(m): 12:10am On Mar 19, 2016
AutofactorNG:
The tyre is a major part of an auto-mobile as it’s the part that has constant contact with the road. So it should be handled with care, but besides gauging the air pressure, many people do not know how long it takes before a tyre is unfit for the road. A 2006 survey in Britain showed that only 4% of consumers are aware that tyres become more dangerous as they age. Tyres are made from rubber and as they age, they undergo a chemical process called oxidation caused by exposure to oxygen. This constant exposure to oxygen on the long run hardens the rubber, reducing its flexibility which could lead to eventual breakdown of the tyre under normal stress. Other factors that can cause tyre wear, thereby reducing its quality are:

Driving Style –Aggressive cornering and brakes could affect the tyre. So drivers are advised to drive with care to get optimum experience from the tyres.

Position –The position of the tyre also influences it. Front tyres wear faster than the rear tyres due to Steering.

Speed – high speed driving involves more friction between the tyre and the road, thereby increasing the temperature and on the long run wearing the tyre out.

Load- Cars have a stipulated amount of load they can contain at a particular time. If this partulcar load is exceeded it could lead to wear of the tyre.

Pressure – Both under-inflation and over-inflation of a tyre could lead to wear.

Alignment – an uneven alignment and bad shock absorbers have negative influences on the tyre, leading to wear.

Producers always boast that you can get a minimum of 20,000 miles on newly purchased tyres so many people always keep a track of their mileage. Although there is some truth to this, tyres can still become bad without hitting the 20,000miles benchmark. Many people are unaware of the 4-year expiry date on tyres or the Date of Manufacture(DOM) that appears on them.
How then do you find out if a tyre has expired?

1. Check the tyre identification number for four numbers which appear like this (*0204*). There is an asterisk at the beginning and end of this serial number (some tyres don’t have asterisk).

2. The first two digits are the week of production, while the last two represent the year. Meaning the tyre was produced in the second week of 2004.

3. This means the tyre will expire in the second week of 2008.

Check all your tyres for safety purpose. Do not use expired tyres as they are likely to burst (especially during this hot weather) because they may have hardened and cracked.

Source: http://autofactorng..com.ng/2016/03/did-you-know-your-tyre-has-expiry-date.html
cool.. But like engines, time in service is the major factor of a tyre's eventual failure. I.e even if a tyre have goon past its expiration date and it has been used only 3times, the tyre z still active
