Celebrities / Re: DNA Confirms Hakeem From ‘empire’ Is Jay-z’s Son by cocu25(m): 9:04am On Jan 21, 2016 |
MidasTouche: DNA analysis has been
released revealing that
Bryshere Y. Gray also
known as Yass the Greatest
who plays Hakeem Lyon on
the hit show Empire is
actually the biological son of
rap mogul Jay-Z. This
doesn’t come as too much of
a shock as the rapper’s
dalliances are well
accounted for, but it does
ask the question of whether
or not Bryshere will inherit
“The Rock” from his
estranged father.
Jay-Z proudly confirmed
that he is in fact his father
in an interview by saying:
“YEA THAT’S BLUE IVY’S
BIG BROTHER CAN’T YOU
TELL THAT’S MY GENES
THAT GAVE HIM HIS
SKILLS. I’M PROUD OF MY
SON I MIGHT SIGN HIM TO
ROC NATION IF IT MAKES
SENSE”
Byshere’s mother “Donut”
Shannon Bryshere was one
of Jay-Z’s “ghetto flowers”
back in the day when he
was selling drugs to help
support his musical career.
The two distanced
themselves from one
another after Donut took the
fall for a drug charge to
keep Jay-Z from going to
prison.
Little did Jigga know at this
time that she was pregnant
with his child.

Politics / Re: Buhari Has Turned Governance To Nollywood —fayose by cocu25(m): 1:13am On Jan 21, 2016 |
alcmene: Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State, has challenged the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed to make public names of the 15 former governors and 55 Nigerians that he claimed stole N1.34 trillion between 2006 and 2013 or keep his mouth shut permanently.
In a statement by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, Governor Fayose said “The reality is that the All Progressives Congress (APC) Federal Government has destroyed the economy within eight months in power and rather than look for solutions to the problems facing Nigeria, Lai Mohammed and his cohorts are branding bogus figures about stolen money just to cover up their lack of solution to the country’s economic problems.”
The governor, who also described as disgraceful, bringing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh to court in handcuff, said; “Even the masterminds of Mandala and Nyanya bomb blasts, Kabiru Sokoto and Aminu Sadiq Ogwuche were not handcuffed when they were arraigned in court.”
Fayose said it was funny that close to one year after it won the presidential election, the President Muhammadu Buhari-led APC federal government was still operating as if it was campaigning for votes.
The governor said: “They are turning governance to Nollywood, such that when one movie is about to end, they release another one. As it appears that the $2.1 billion arms deal movie is getting to an end, Lai Mohammed introduced another movie titled N1.34 trillion loot.
“Unfortunately for them this time around, Nigerians have become tired of watching the Federal Government movies, they now want reality. Nigerians are now aware of the scam in the $2.1 billion arms deal movie having seen that the amount those already charged to court were charged with is not more than N10 billion and $2.1 billion is over N600 billion.
“Therefore, Lai Mohammed must either tell Nigerians details of the 15 former governors and 55 people that he claimed stole N1.34 trillion, where the stolen money is kept and bring back the money or apologise to Nigerians for lying.”
While describing the persistent claim by the federal government that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) destroyed Nigeria for 16 years as hypocritical, Governor Fayose said Nigerians must begin to ask which party majority of those presently ruling the country under the APC government were between 1999 and 2014.
“Majority of those who ran the Federal Government between 1999 and 2003 under the PDP are in the APC government today. President, vice president, ministers, governors, senators and House of Reps members who were part of the PDP government are now in APC. Yet, APC keeps telling Nigerians that PDP ruined the country. This hypocrisy must stop,” he said.
The governor, who insisted that due process of the law must be followed in fighting corruption, noted that disobedience to court orders itself is a criminal offence that is more grievous than corruption.
He said no amount of harassment and intimidation will silence opposition in the country, saying President Buhari and his men should rather get used to the reality that opposition must exist in a democracy.

Politics / Re: Nigerians: You Live In A Paradise And Dont Even Know It! by cocu25(m): 10:40am On Jan 20, 2016 |
jayfolarin: I'v wanted to write this article for over 2 months but its discouraging thinking about the number of points i need to raise to support my claims! NIGERIANS WANT THE BEST THINGS BUT NEVER WANT TO PAY FOR IT!! HOW ON EARTH DO YOU WANT YOUR COUNTRY TO DEVELOP?!
Quick question; Imagine government fixes Nigeria's issues of electricity and internet with other basic amenities today, Who here would be willing to pay an annual rent of N1million for a single room (Not one bedroom flat oo) in a city like Ado-Ekiti and N3million for the most average single room (shared toilet and bathroom with at least one other person e.g face me, I face you houses) in a city like Lagos?! Note: This is just basic rent and is therefore without utility bills such as Electricity, Heating, Water, Garbage, Internet etc that averages about another N900,000 yearly.
I couldn't stop shaking my head at the gullibility of some Nigerians as i read the various comments on the N50 bank charges thread. That is what? 2cents charge on banking transactions that does not even include savings account that most of the commenters use oo! Even South Africa reportedly demands that you pay an equivalent of N500 for deposits into your own account (Savings or Current)! Where I live, you are demanded to pay an equivalent N4,200 in charges for deposit into another's account if you aren't a customer of the bank!
Nigeria has the lowest VAT tax in the world and i'm sure y'all will take to the streets in protests if this is ever increased! I pay N1,500 in charges for every ATM interbank withdrawal of an equivalent of N10,000 and you all couldn't stop screaming at the N65 naira (after 3rd transaction) that was introduced by the CBN last year! Haba Nigerians!! You want to live 'comfortably' like Americans and Europeans but aren't ready to pay the price! Who does that sh*t! One of the major reasons why you don't enjoy goodies is because because you haven't had to pay enough taxes. It is partly a reason why the government doesn't feel very responsible to the people as well. Oil is not anyone's property anyways.
I really can't remember the last time i visited an hospital but i'm mandated to pay an equivalent of N23,000 monthly for health insurance! Would you be willing to pay such amount for the sake of development in the health care sector in Nigeria?! I don't think so but you would be the first to take pictures for nairaland about the pitiable state of one hospital in your city!
You want the best Infrastructures in the world but have never paid taxes from your businesses! Some people would rather close up shop than pay the most basic tax to the government! How on earth do you expect any development if you aren't ready to help government with funds? Nigeria is not the only country with oil, we don't even have as much as Russia but expect to get everything for free because there's oil in the land! What would y'all have done if you didn't have anything but rocks and granite? you would expect the government officials to use their personal incomes to develop the country first and then see if you like it or not before you decide to pay?! I no pity your destiny!
Nowhere in the world is mobile internet data cheap, Nigerians automatically feel they are being ripped off by mobile operators who use the same infrastructure that's being deployed everywhere else! For a 2gb mobile internet data allowance from T-mobile, I pay N5,000 monthly, This is not even close to what Nigerians get from the mobile operators but they scream to the heavens still. Agreed, cable/ADSL, wired internet is cheaper but you cant blame this on the telecom industries, Government should make provisions for that! But again, how many persons would not scream 'Rip off' if you all are asked to pay a mandatory internet fee ranging in thousands of Naira every month
From food to clothings, transportation, even prostitutes (Girls in brothels here charge at least 12k for a quickie, Don't ask me how i know ), Nigerians live on the cheap and want to keep up with the expensive! No! It doesn't work that way! You have to pay for developments that leads to a robust economy which in turn leads to higher standard of living (Job creation, Increment in Minimum wage, Good roads, healthcare facilities etc)..
I smell APC. |

naughtynaughty: I just found out last night that my wife has been sleeping with my land lady . After church yesterday I told my wife that I will be going to hang out with the boys, since she said she was tired and wanted to go sleep.
I drove her home and left to go hang out with the boys , but the real truth behind it was that I just wanted to surprise her when she had gone to bed, my intention was to use the opportunity to decorate the house and wrap all her gifts.
So after few hours of hanging out with my friends, I decided to drive home since I believed that she must have slept. The gate man opened the gate for me, I drove in and was tip toeing into the house in other not to make a noise I followed the back door . I could hear panting and moaning sounds from my inner room, but I did not want to assume, so I went in, I noticed it was coming from our bathroom , so I went in and saw the shocker of my life.
My landlady that is a pastor in church was f*cking my wife with a vibrator , this d**k vibrator ladies wear was what she was wearing as my wife was bent to the wall shouting out her a**, It was not even normal s*x but anal s*x .
I could not even stand the sight , I just pretending like I fainted . I could hear the confusion on their feets as they talked to themselves . The landlady said (let us kill him, cause this will spoil my reputation , my wife said never , my land lady said he will destroy my image ,but I could hear my wife running around in confusion as she ran out to reach for her phone .
I was still trying to open one eye to see wot was happening when I noticed a dark stuff coming to my face , my landlady was trying to kill me with a pillow, so I quickly grabbed her by the neck and pushed her to the floor , where she hit her head on the bath and fell to the ground .
I quickly rushed her to the hospital and reported to the police . Am still in the police station as I send this email . The first thing that came to my mind was break_or_makeup. Please this is no joke. I need to know my next step .

Take HITV. When it came into the market, most Nigerians were happy. But HITV's bouquet was scanty compared to DSTV.....plus they made the mistake of thinking that Nigerians got cable satellite TV for the football.
While HITV focused on football....DSTV upped their game by improving their content drastically.
Guess who won at the end?

ahaika23: The embarrassing loss of the APC in the just concluded Governorship election in Bayelsa state is not only a pain to the party but a very clear signal that they have no place in the South South region of the Delta. Despite all the violence, intimidation, killings and destruction , putting all police and military force behind their quest, however all of their efforts fell apart like a pack of cards made to stand on their on only to be faced by the touch of resistance. No wonder for over 48 hours, INEC was still looking for its voice as the name already sent to it was not the wish of the people. Oh how sad the children of change got that up till this moment their chief law breaker is yet to come to terms with the incident let alone send a congratulatory message to the winner as his predecessor always did furthermore emphasizing the fact that the change of cloth from khaki to agbada does not in any way change a dictator and an unrepentant one for that matter. It is too late, the people do not need his congratulatory message, neither that of the mastermind of the violence which as left dead the people whom they wanted to Govern.
This clear signal that the APC is a mirage in states below the belt remains fact and the otherwise can only be wished for by the few amazons at nooks and crannies of the transport waterways. This is the one reason why any investment in trying to unseat any PDP government in the region would end the way Lai Mohammed's abuses did when he was reminded that 'he thought he was still an opposition spokesman that goes around abusing the government even when he's been made a minister to inform the people but rather than that is abusing them for asking questions'; that was the last time Lai spewed his abusive trash. Right now, what is left for Silva is jostling for any available political appointment but of course he should be grateful to Buhari for wiping his sins of corruption away and nailing it to his political career.
We shall watch as the non-democratic party do all they can to unseat the other PDP governors in the region. As they have failed woefully in Bayelsa, your guess is as good as mine! If I were to vote, I vote the aspirant, not the party. Party don't lead the people do. |

The National conference is an Igbo Conference because it was organised by an Igbo Man named Ebele Jonathan. The Buhari's Government shall organize an all inclusive National Conference which shall be to the benefit of all Nigeria. It shall not be called national conference. It shall be called The Nigerian Accord 2016. Not that the accord must reorganize the dominant ethnic group in Nigeria and shall henceforth reorganize that ethnic group as The Owners of Nigeria and also The Protectors of Nigeria. Criteria for selecting the dominant ethnic group should be Land Mass and Population of the Ethnic Group Honestly, if I see a muslim or a hausa man my first notion is for him to fall dead and die and dis is due to the comments I read on nairaland. Why is it that most Igbo towns are mostly made up of indigenous Igbos People will rather go to Calabar, Port Harcourt or Uyo than to stop at Onitsha which is closer. Is it that Igbos are not friendly, people from other regions despise them so much such that they dont want to look for business opportuinity in their region or there are not enough opportunities outside buying and selling in these igbo towns and cities. Even the north that most of us love to hate and we label intolerant set of people have more concentration of non native in there villages than igbo cities and their town and cities are mostly made up of up to 30-45% non indigenes or non northerners.
