Yomii: We need coach who knows the technical and tactical know how... NFF should choose wisely. Though Keshi tried but...Can we recommend a few for the Super eagles? ![]() |
homesteady: are you guys even sure that the Cuadrado will come? haven't even read any serious news of barca tracking the guy! BTW what happened to Montoya? was he injured?Wicked... ![]() Only if Montoya could understand English... ![]() |
homesteady: ehennn! Who do you guys think should be our No 1 keeper? bravo or that ter segen boy? That has been my concern actually before World cup! ![]() Even now i am not sure! Maybe we should play bravo for the 1st half & Ter stegen for the 2nd of the season? --- And judge! ![]() But i know that's not visible! ![]() |
bykebyke: If we sell Alves and Cuadrado comes...Who competes with Cuadrado?..Do you think Alves will like that ideal? Instead he would opt out! ![]() |
bykebyke: Alves is just 31....How good can a right back be @ the age of 31? ---- I hope you don't want to play with trophyless anymore! ---He is leaving! ![]() |
homesteady: how will our formation be if we buy suarez?Still remains 4-3-3 i think... ![]() Obviously. Suarez should be our real 9! ---- Goal Goal Goal!!! Ale Ale Ale!!! While Messi plays behind him while Rakitic plays Xavi's role and we all know the rest... ![]() |
bykebyke: Yes ooo...and I don't think Alves should be sold, you would be surprised at what competition can do!!What competition? ![]() That guy has paid his dues just like Xavi and its time he leaves... ![]() |
coded01: When asked if President Goodluck Jonathan intervenes and sort things out like he did after the Africa Cup of Nations, Keshi said: ‘’As much as I respect and appreciate the number one citizen of the country I am afraid that this time it is going to be difficult. I am totally done with some of these people”.Are you referring to the Presidency, NFF, Media, Players or the Loyal Nigerian People... ![]() Speak out or else... ![]() |
bizngr: Babayaro is right.I support you completely... ![]() coded01: “To me he is looking for attention and maybe he is at cross roads over to stay or leave, he appears confused a bit as he loves Nigeria and his job.”This got me --- Smh... GEJ is not rewarding you unless you explain to the Nigerian people why you left a better striker like Ikechukwu Uche (with 14 goals for Villareal last season in Spain leading his team to the 6th position) & brought injured players including a "rarely fit or already done" Yobo to the World Cup! ![]() |
ddippset: revolt?? ha, wetin de vex you na? A lot of people hear can vouch for me that I should be 100 x happier than you if messi is made captain. Some of us only think iniesta is next in line and will get it. I prefer messi but iniesta should. Don't worry be happy. ![]() I am just pulling everyone's legs here! ![]() Its good to make this thread lively sometimes not serious all the time... ![]() Honestly, who cares really... ----------- Its all about the trophies men........ ![]() |
bykebyke: Imagine if Suarez bites Pepe..Mehn... ![]() |
The scramble for who takes over the position of Super Eagles coach has started after France kicked Eagles out of the Brazil World Cup. |
bykebyke: Tactically and technically, the Suarez signing seems perfect for a Barca side in need of renovation and renewal. Now, all he has to do is behave himself...Fortunately for us, it would make Ramos and Pepe behave themselves instead or else Suarez would likely snaps & do the needful... ![]() Ronaldo is not exempted though! ![]() |
bykebyke: Never..rather take me for a Getafe fan!! ![]() |
Atlanta 96 Olympic Gold medalist, Emmanuel Babayaro has reacted to Super Eagles Coach Stephen Keshi’s denial about his resignation from his role.
|
bykebyke: WhereNo vex oh! ![]() I took you for a Madrid fan! ![]() |
bykebyke: Keep CalmAbeg! ... ![]() |
Mcleo007: By hierarchy, the captains are:Why not revolt if given to Messi... ![]() |
dmcdad: Mehn... See interpretation sha!You as well... ![]() |
ddippset: I don't interprete it as captaincy. He will remain the main player and the hub of the team like he has been for the past 5 years even with puyol as captain. I think iniesta will be captain. You can go n revolt if he is given the captaincy... ![]() |
Bartomeu: “Messi is not transferable. He will lead the important renovation of the team” Its Official! ---- Messi is the new Captain...... ---- Hoping he comes back with the World Cup.... ![]() http://www.fcbarcelona.com/football/first-team/detail/article/bartomeu-messi-is-not-transferable-he-will-lead-the-important-renovation-of-the-team

MCMLXXVI: Did you and the Lagosians do the same street justice to Berti Vogts when Nigeria crashed out in the nations cup quarter finals, or did you and those Lagosians do the same street justice to Lagerback when Nigeria crashed out of South Africa with just 1 point? Are you related bro? ![]() |

Having watched Enyeama especially since his days with Enyimba till date, I must say. He is a king of the goal-post! ![]() Only if he was an European, he probably would be regarded as the best goal keeper in the World... ---- He is undoubtedly the best.Imagine Enyimba, Hapoel Tel-Aviv, Maccabi Tel-Aviv, Lillle and Nigeria without Enyeama ---- Your guess is as good as mine! Honours Club Enyimba International F.C. Nigerian Premier League: 2001, 2002, 2003 CAF Champions League: 2003, 2004 Hapoel Tel-Aviv Israeli Premier League: 2009–10 Israel State Cup: 2010, 2011 Maccabi Tel-Aviv Israeli Premier League: 2012–13 International Nigeria Nigeria Africa Cup of Nations: Winner : 2013 Third Place (3): 2004, 2006, 2010 Individual CAF Champions League Player of the Year: 2004 Footballer of the Year in Israel: 2009 UNFP Player of the Month: October 2013 UNFP Player of the Month: November 2013 2014 Marc Vivien Foe Award winner We should campaign for him to be rewarded after such glamourous and fantastic career especially now we are hearing rumors he is considering retirement... ![]() We Love You Enyeama and may the Lord keep blessing and guiding you and your family... ![]() Honour Enyeama!!!
|
I guess that's what it takes to be a Barcelona player because we won't want him going crazy on Ramos or Pepe! ![]() Even Ronaldo won't be spared if he snaps... ![]() |
It is obvious their fans are unhappy for their poor performance in the World Cup but throwing sweets @ them is pretty cool for the South Koreans... ---- Yet you can see the fear on the faces of the Players! ![]() As for these guys who calls themselves ![]() I hope our boys in Lagos are ready to unleash street justice upon their arrival @ Murtala Muhammed Airport --- I think it won't be forgotten and would be a concern for those interested in bringing shame upon Nigeria next time! ![]() --- But Enyeama should be excused while the boys do justice to the remaining including the the big-headed coach... I expect nothing less... ![]() Where were the defenders that were supposed to mount both the left and right corners of the post while our darling Enyeama went for the punch? ![]() |
They are calling it the 'plane of shame' these days. It is the moment a national side heads off for a World Cup finals armed with their new kits, fresh luggage and high hopes, but return prematurely before the last 16 begins with their tails tucked firmly between their legs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1J3dgyi0ZzM Han Kook-Young (R) consoles Son Heung-Min of South Korea after a 0-1 defeat to Belgium in the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil Group H match between South Korea and Belgium at Arena de Sao Paulo on June 26, 2014 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. There will be plenty of unhappy countries heading home without justifying their stay in Brazil, especially when you think of England, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Japan and Ivory Coast. But some fans accept losing better than others. South Korea reached the last four of the World Cup finals under Guus Hiddink when they hosted the tournament with Japan in 2002. As such, their football-obsessed country were banking on another joy ride in South America, but ended up party to Asia's worst performance at a World Cup finals in 24 years with Japan, Iran and Australia all failing to clear the first hurdle. South Korea's tournament began with a 1-1 draw against Russia before going downhill with a 4-2 loss to Algeria and 1-0 reverse against Belgium sealing their fate. When South Korea's ashen-faced squad posted for a photograph after flying from Sao Paulo to Seoul on Monday, they were greeted with flying toffees from some fans unhappy with their performance. It basically sent out the message "go eat a toffee" or "get lost". Or something even stronger than we can't print on a family friendly website. “I am sorry that we weren’t able to return the love and support shown by our people during the World Cup,” said the South Korea coach Hong Myunbg-bo. “It was due to my deficiency as a coach that we didn’t put up the desired results. But our players all have a bright future ahead and not everything was lost from this tournament." It could have been worse with Italy being pelted with tomatoes after the 1966 tournament. We wonder if Wayne Rooney would have chewed on few of the flying treats if he had been with the South Koreans. South Korea left the tournament with toffee, and ended up with more when they flew home. https://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/the-rio-report/south-korea-greeted-ultimate-insult-upon-return-home-163006540.html
