And yes, tinubu is part of it...he removed subsidy not because he got convinced, but because the polices he supported under buhari led to a situation where the economy was too too broken to support a subsidy again. Polices like continuing a subsidy that by 2011, it was clear, was wrecking our economy. Yet, he opposed it.

If you want a decent economy, you have to free the electricity and the refining sector, to provide power for industrial growth, and you got to support the fighting of corruption at all levels if it harms you.

But you guys do not support that. Yes, the tinubu, obi, atiku supporters, all of you. You want money shared to you now.

Nigeria had much better economy when we were paying subsidy on fuel than when Tinubu removed it.

Fuel subsidy benefited everyone directly or indirectly, the removal only benefits a very very few while a larger percentage of the population suffer.

What should be tackled is the corruption in the system. You don’t throw away a baby with the bath water.
