Is the battery long lasting ?

Dear Nairaland community particularly Abuja residents.
I seek your guidance and insights as I consider buying land in Gwagwalada, Abuja.
I met someone through a friend who claim to be working for a real estate company
He said they have 500sqm of land for sale at 1M close to University of Abuja teaching hospital Gwagwalada.
Before I make the purchase I am interested whether
1. The land isn't government land.
2. How can I verify that I'm not about to be scam as I have never buy land before.
3. What are the documents I need to collect after I bought the land.

Anambra lawmaker takes up teaching appointment in secondary school

A lawmaker representing Awka South 1 State Constituency in Anambra State, Henry Mbachu has taken up a teaching appointment.

He is to teach physics at Igwebuike grammar School, Awka, the state capital.

This followed his oversight visit to the school on the 27th of June 2023.

Mbachu had taught in the institution as a physics teacher earlier in his career.

The Lawmaker had written to the state's Commissioner for Education to be a volunteer teacher of physics in the school.

Consequently, the Commissioner who was pleased with the determination of the lawmaker to teach school children, and his quest for academic excellence, assented to the request and gave him appointment letter to that effect on the 13th of July 2023.

Speaking, the Lawmaker appreciated the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, for the Employment of 5000 teachers to improve the workforce at the public Secondary Schools in the state.

He said the idea had impacted positively on the development of the State's educational system.


While charging the students on the need to remain steadfast in their academics, Mbachu told them that he was an ex-student of the school who later transcended as a teacher in the same school.

He said, "I was an ex-student of this great citadel of learning, I also started my career as a teacher in this school. The foundation of the educational qualities I possess in this life was laid here. I achieved it through dedication and steadfastness.

The management of the school, teachers as well as the students were pleased to receive their new teacher who volunteered to impact knowledge.

After teaching the students, Mbachu later returned to Anambra State House of Assembly complex for the day's plenary session

When it comes to security you don't give room to emotions, a great sense of logistics and high level of intelligence is required and you will want to be surrounded by your perceived loyalists.

At the moment the government of the day will not want to make itself vulnerable to attacks ( I guessed you know examples of such attacks?).

So loyalists over people who can combat insecurities.
So competent generals should not be appointed because they come from a tribe that is deemed unloyal.
PBAT need to do better

It won't work to expect Nigerians to be together yet a region is excluded from Position of Authority.
Assuming Obi won and Yoruba is treated this way .

When 2015 election came, Jonathan became so dirty in the eyes of many Nigerians that calling him dog or goat and even carrying his effigy in coffin with RIP didn't appear wrong in their eyes.

No one anticipated that a powerful movement called the Obidients would emerge from no where. But it did. Before everyone's eyes, Tinubu's propaganda machinery was destroyed with relative ease. He suddenly came under severe attack. He thought it's just a joke his formidable propaganda machinery will subdue. But alas, he watched helplessly as his BATist army were run ragged by the Obidients and reduced to a ragtag confused militia. If I were Tinubu, I would zone Senate Presidency to the North West. And my reason is very simple: If the Supreme Courts nullifies the election and demands a fresh presidential election be conducted, both Tinubu and Shettima will no longer be in power and the Senate President will become the Acting President. This means the Senate President will supervise the conduct of the fresh election.

The North West and the North East seem to be more loyal to Tinubu. That explain why there are fewer Obidient elements in those region. However in the South South and the South East, there is a preponderance of Obidient elements. This means that it is likely that there will be some people in Akpabio's inner cabinet that are Obidient. Same goes for Orji Uzor Kalu's inner cabinet. Thus if I were Tinubu, I would be very careful on who becomes Senate President because that person can become acting president with some influence should there be a need for fresh elections. He would need someone who is very loyal and whose inner cabinet is also very loyal.
