The only person I feel for right now is Dessers.

I really feel for him. His passion, desire, and zeal. Yet no recognition and value for him. It hurts though.

But he'll come good next year. The new coach will call him.
Seriously. Just so sad. But one guy is rejecting waiting for first team assurance before coming

He will be invited, trust me
Na Rohr spoil things
The new Coach go invite am
Which time does the coach have to observe him?. Who told him he will maintain his rich form?. Players like Ekong and Musa continue to be invited because there is no time to try new players. No luxury of time in international football brother

Based on past precedent,
Why shouldn't he?
He knows his worth
Others don't know their value, so they honoured the call ups. Guy, you can't go against your country.

Loyalty to who exactly?
We who never cared about him or Watford who believed in him when we all wrote him off as a flop because of his stint in Germany?

Going by the way he was treated by Rohr and NFF, I don't blame him
I am not supporting his actions, but I understand his thinking

He would probably even be on the bench if he made it to the AFCON, make we no deceive ourselves
Forget Rohr, he is gone. How was he treated by the NFF and how should he has been treated?
What I am saying is that Dennis has shown he is not loyal to his country and he should not expect to be shown any form of consideration in future call ups. If the new coach and the NFF however feels otherwise, it's fine.

why should he be axed from future games, he recent attitude towards the SE call-up, is as a result of Rohr,

you invites a player struggling to put down a starting shirt, yet you refuse to play him, then stop calling him, And it toke an outburst from fans to include him in the 40man list,

bros what did that tells youhuh
Is Rohr a Nigerian?. Even if he is, Is Dennis serving Rohr or 200m Nigerians?. Is Rohr still our coach?

Why would he waste a Month of his time just to come sit on the bench for possibly inferior players when he can stay at watford and be useful?
Who told you he is going to stay on the bench?. Why will a player be seeking assurances of first team football before honouring a call up?. Did other players come to sell groundnuts?

I don't blame him actually
Watford believed in him when he was written off as a flop and a poor attitude player
On the other hand, Rohr never believed in him and never really valued him, then out of the blues, you send him an invite and expect him to leave everything else and show up?
Especially when it's clear Watford need him more now
Bear in mind, he's the 4th highest goal scorer this season with 8 goals

This may be unpopular, but I don't blame the kid
Loyalty is everything bro. I hope you will not also complain when other players who got a call up at the last hour (and still honoured it) make subsequent SE squads at his expense.

It's easy to answer, Emmanuel Dennis is much more important to them than Ekong and you answered your own question, they wouldn't dare anger Emmanuel Dennis by denying him a call up against his wish, they denied the call up confidently because Emmanuel Dennis was on their side
I know Dennis has an attitude problem but he has voiced it over and over again that he will be happy to go to the AFCON. If Salah, Mane and Mahrez are happy to be there (and Liverpool couldn't stop them), which other African wouldn't?

This one is running around trying to convince himself and others that Mao from Twitter space said that Rohr sneaked in Emmanuel Dennis in a 40 man list he already submitted to CAF and thereby Watford had to deny the callup despite the fact that it was announced the same time as Ekong, you sound ridiculous man grin
Chriskel has a point Sha. Why will they release one player and withold another?. Why will the Club want to keep an unhappy player in their squad if all conditions
we're actually met?

If it is true
Dennis should be left alone
He is not fit for super eagles
It is utterly disrespectful to make such demands
LoL. The guy thinks he will be at Watford for life. Even Deeney (Watford legend) still comot for the club so who Dennis be?. He can never make the SE squad if this is true. The earlier he starts fighting for the shirt now the better for his international career.

I don't believe the story sha because with a WC coming up and a new coach in charge, it's actually a foolish decision to make.

The release of the 40 - man provisional list submitted by Rohr to CAF has exposed Eguavoen to be "shady" .

Also, I question his decision making and I feel like Rohr we'll be shocked & disappointed with his team selection.

Personally, I am glad he won't be in charge after the AFCON.

What is Shady there? Must he work with Rohr's list?. He has a right to choose the players he believes can play his style. If na me sef, I go tamper with the list, so what's the fuss about?. Abeg make una rest.

The point i am making is: It shouldn't have cost him sleepless nights. The new names are just Olisa Ndah and Nwakali, Most fans are already in the know of the need for a player like Nwakali.

Even if it cost him sleepless nights, telling the public is not necessary.

I hope he is not trying to use these stories as an excuse for failure. A failure will always tell you about their efforts. That is the first thing they normally present.

A failure will tell you how what he has is not enough, for example in one of his most recent interviews, when queried about his proposed wing play he said that we are no longer in the days of Finidi and Odegbami before he now asked "what is the name of that Villareal boy" the manner at which he made the query revealed some sort of downsizing. You can search Youtube to view his interview with a personnel in NFF.

TheGoodJoe, life is predictable, and this is how some of us predict failure.
I pray someone very close to him corrects him.
How exactly do you want him to perform? No friendlies lined up for the team and we don't where they are camping. Many of the players will even be reporting to camp on Jan 3 (6 days to AFCON opener)
If he doesn't do well in this campaign, no one will be justified to call him a failure. PROPER PREPARATION PREVENT POOR PERFORMANCE

Facts only.

Despite a few shortcomings such a deciding on where our home games are played and late payments to coaching staff Pinnick has been good.

The influence of the NFF in CAF has certainly grown in his time. He just needs to replace Rohr with a real upgrade and get the team settled in a certain location for home games and he'll be a 9/10.
His influence in CAF how?
This one that one of either Ghana , Nigeria and Ivory coast can qualify for Continental tournament?

Even though I don't totally agree with GoodJoe, I must confess that Pinnick is a disaster as a NFF President. From the local league to the men and women national teams, he has been nothing but a monumental disgrace to our football.

Just learnt that Rohr applied for the Enyimba coaching role when Orji Uzor Kalu was Governor but he wasn't employed probably because he wasn't good enough. In other words, NFF accepted an Enyimba reject grin grin
