NFF Communication Director, Ademola Olajire; "I’m not aware of Rohr’s sack because there are procedure for doing things at the federation. Before such decision could be taken, there will be a meeting of the NFF board and a release issued to the public. As for now, I’m not aware of the sack. The online platform you claimed reported the story cannot announce his sack without confirmation from the NFF."

zuchyblink: If Rohr Qualifies us for 2022 world cup,he will be one of our best coaches ever. Qualified us for 2 Afcon,2 world cup and AFCON bronze. I know these records are above average but he doesn't deserve the bashing. It is quite unfortunate that Nigerians are too emotional It's not only about results now bro but quality of play. I stand to be corrected but it's very possible to play good football and achieve results at the same time. Imagine, I forgot we had a make or mar match today and didn't feel too bad about missing it because I know it was always going to be an eyesore. I am just tired of the man Gaskiya |

Meliforme: Victor Moses is more guilty of over-dribbling, losing the ball and selfish plays. Let's not allow the constant hanker for the things that we have had or yet to have overtake us.
For the emboldened, you are right. That's what the current squad lack, but you should take cognizance in the fact that what you described is the job of midfielders, not wingers. Victor Moses enjoyed a lot of service from Mikel.
I ponder what Victor Moses will do against a team like C.A.R coupled with the deficiency we suffered in the midfield.
Pace, dribbling, through balls, and finishing, are what accounts for good wing forward play and these are areas where players like Samuel Chukwueze and Chidera Ejuke excels, making them more preferable than Victor Moses. However Victor Moses's contributions to defense, vision and crossing makes him an excellent wingback. Hmmm! Will Moses readily agree to play wingback for Nigeria? I doubt. |

Joebie: haha.. Ugbo knew what he wanted? There were also stories that he was switching to Nigeria. So how did it change to Canada overnight? The boy must have seen that there is no space in the SE striking role. And remember, this is a one-time change of allegiance, so switching to Nigeria might not be worth it, which probably informed his choice of Canada. He is serious about playing International football. I like that |

Joebie: There are too many conflicting stories. When I get time I will have to read all the stories from the start and deduce something. Is someone telling me Ovie Ejaria also has been playing hide and seek? If there's player I will ever respect, it's Ike Ugbo. The guy plain die. No hanky panky. He declared publicly knowing what he want. I am glad that he has now decided for Canada. Be plain. |

Damioduso1: I have a feeling the nff is intentionally delaying the switch. I believe the reason to be that they are protecting the spots of some certain players in the super eagles team (Musa, Shehu etc). If highly talented player join the fold it will be hard for Rohr to justify these junks in a 23 man squad.
Is it a coincidence that as soon as caf declared that they will allow 28 players for afcon there seems to be a rush to get the application of change of nationality for both Ovie Ejaria and Ademola lookman switch all of a sudden You didn't read that the boy just declared for us?. On this matter, leave NFF alone and tackle the players playing hide and seek with us |

They can be dropped for better players sir. I have never fancied them both anyways. But not from fry pan to fire abeg |

Subzero047: Someone was talking about many SE players flopped on their debut, how many are they? Aribo scored against Ukraine on his debut, Maduka impressed against Brazil on his debut, Zaidu Sanusi turned heads on his debut, Uzoho had a magnificent world cup qualifier are we going to talk about Osimhen, Chukwueze, Ejuke, Ebuehi and others? When you given a chance with the national team you grab it with both hands not here talking about 71 minutes this that, 71 minutes is a whole match bro I just tire In an inconsequential match for that matter. Had it been it was in an all-important match now, we for say na pressure For me, Ighalo should have resisted that temptation to come back. The present SE has no bearing or direction. If any thing goes wrong, nobody will blame Osimhen, Chukwueze, or even Iwobi o, na Ighalo them go come for. The dude better no miss any big chance again o, if not Yakubu dragging go be small for Wetin hin eye go see |

He moved to Epl and is balling there 2. He plays in a position where we are short of options 3. He is younger 4. He was recalled with injuries to Ndidi and Etebo Some others might not be so lucky bro. Such is life |

Mind you I don't believe this allegation. Sir, How good was he in the first place?. I watched him at the under20 and was not impressed. Subzero047: Bro Nwakaeme is a 32yr old playing in Turkey there are not much upsides to being his agent, if someone like Awoniyi made that claim it would have substance besides there are many players with different agents playing in the SE so why would a player Rohr had a good reason to bench come up with such a ridiculous story? Seriously, if it's someone like Chukwueze, Ejuke or maybe Aribo that made this allegations, I would have considered it but not Nwakaeme who was playing like a pregnant woman in an inconsequential game devoid of pressure. |

Ighalo has been very poor in GWG prior to this 2019 AFCONQ and the following AFCON (that you have been using to sing his praise) which I even call a one year or one season wonder. |

Appears national team football is more difficult or rather not as easy as club football Yes o I realized that since. I don't jubilate over any new player anymore. victornoah: The lineup is pretty much OK, apart from the inclusion of Collins. I think Bassey should have been played instead. Rohr will do no such thing bro. The guy no wan experiment. Qualification first. And besides, I noticed that a player will be rated very good until he put on the GWG jersey. That's when you will see wailings and gnashing of teeth The Olise that we are all clamoring for might come and even stay on the bench for Iwobi. Let's learn to appreciate the bird at hand. |

TheGoodJoe just summarized it. I don't believe in a one game wonder. You need to prove yourself at Senior level (consistently turning up) before I will give that nod. I have had too many heart breaks from young players of the past to know this.
As for Isaac Success, he has been the greatest disappointment since after Macaulay Chrisantus. So matured and well drilled striker for his young age as at then. Scoring goals like a 25years old. He looked like an already made striker.
Well I just pray he manages to blossom at a late age. Isaac Success really fall person hand Sha. Truly the race is not to the swift. I pray things turn around for him |
