Concotion of of half truth and pure lies .

Nigger is a Latin word for Black. It was coined as Negro in English language.it has nothing to do with slave just like what the op want us to believe.
Nigger was not originally an offensive word .it means a black man same as negro. It was stigmatization and racism that made people feel it is an offensive word.
Some many words like nigger have undergone transformation from harmless words to offensive words.

Just like the word Aboki/Mallam is used a derogatory word in southern Nigeria but the true meaning of Aboki is my Friend while Mallam means Teacher in North.
The stigmatization of the words has made some northerners pick fight with anybody that calls them aboki ,and Mallam,in southern Nigeria.


Nigeria comes from Niger-Area , any other tales by moonlight is conspiracy theory.

The Nigerian Army on Monday handed over 151 repentant Boko Haram insurgents to Borno Government for rehabilitation and re-integration into the society.

Maj.-Gen. Bamidele Shafa, the Coordinator, Operation Safe Corridor, made the disclosure during the handing over of the repentant insurgents at the Bulunkutu Rehabilitation Center, Maiduguri.

Shafa disclosed that the 151 male repentant insurgents comprised 132 adult and 19 minors, who completed 52 weeks of de-radicalization process at its center in Gombe.

He said that the clients were exposed to formal literacy classes, skills acquisition and Islamic Religious Knowledge (IRK) as well as drug and psycho-therapists during their training.

Shafa explained that the Operation Safe Corridor was designed to encourage Boko Haram insurgents to surrender, provide de-radicalization and rehabilitation programme, to enable them rejoin the society.

“The clients confessed their past misdeeds; denounced membership of Boko Haram group, asked for forgiveness and took oath of allegiance to Nigeria. I believe they are now good citizens to rejoin the society,” he said.

Shafa lauded the state government over its support and efforts to assist the repentant insurgents to reintegrate into the society.

Also, Alhaji Umar Kadafur, the state Deputy Governor, commended the Federal Government over implementation of Operation Safe Corridor to rehabilitate and reintegrate repentant insurgents into the society.

Kadafur said that the state government had adopted effective measures to accept the insurgents willing to voluntarily surrender and to create an enabling environment for them to rejoin the society.

He said that the state government had also directed community leaders to sensitize their people on the need to accept the rehabilitated insurgents, and warned against infringement on their rights.

The deputy governor added that the state government would support rehabilitated insurgents to set up their business, to enable them to engage in productive activities and contribute to the development of the society.

Tela Dandija and Kyari Buguma, some of the repentant insurgents, thanked the Federal Government for the amnesty granted to them and called on the insurgents still in the bush to surrender.

They also called for support to enable them to set up their businesses in their respective communities.

I applied for same course.. Mailed the admission office n was told to hold on till few weeks after deadline. Also to be checking the portal for any update.
When did you apply?

No, I haven't been offered admission.
I think the Application for my course (molecular and developmental stem cell biology) is in 2 phases: the general one on the school portal, then sending my PDF documents via email.
They need the two before my application can be valid

If you're required to send hard copies, you'll be told in the mail. But since they only sent you an ID and a link to check your status from time to time, then you are assured that there's no need to send documents to them.

Now, there are different modes for different courses I guess. I applied for MSc Biochemistry and MSc Developmental Stem cell biology. I've submitted online application for both, only to receive a mail last week from the Stem Cell guys requesting me to download an application form from their course website, fill it and combine it into 1 PDF file with some documents they listed for me in the mail. I was then told to send the combined documents via email to them before July 15.

I added this just to clear your doubts, and assure you that you're on track. If there was a problem with the online application, I'm sure you'd have been mailed to that effect. But since there's none, just hope and pray for the best.

I'm sorry about the rejections so far. I guess they are a part of the process too. I've received not less than 15 of them over here. But we won't allow it to dampen us. Good news await you very soon.

My program is an online application. I didn't send documents.
Don't worry about the rejections. Whatever will be, will be. Do your best and trust God.

You should know that form A takes a longer time and it's almost the same rate as Buying euro from an aboki but u can try each one out and choose which one works best for you

Hello sir, CBN’s Rate does not apply to Form A. If he’s using that option, then he’s going to have to pay the bank’s rate, which is currently higher than parallel market rate. Best advise is to source for own euros and make a transfer to his block account.
