Audezy: From what you have just quoted, there is no punishment for the terrorist and bandits in Nigeria or the whole world, because they people to whom this atrocity is committed against are not Muhammad and his followers (Muslims).
Finally we understand why you people Muslims don't condem bandits and terrorists in Nigeria... Exactly what I was about to post. No part of his epistle addresses the heading. |

I always wonder the kind of politics that happen in Nigeria and why public office holders often hold on to sits even when their tenure expire.
I can't imagine a single political party in Nigeria today that doesn't have leadership crisis. Mostly stemming from issues around tenure. Most political parties have factions which is always causes by leadership tussle.
Is it a lack of laws or lack of interpretations of them?
Same thing happens in public service where upon retirement, people refuse to exit their office. |

Politics › Re: Zones That Have Access To Water Supply, From Top To Bottom by ColdHunter(f): 9:51am On Dec 10, 2025 |
I think I can understand why this may be so.
In the South East, most households drill their own borehole due to little to no government provision for water distribution or a failed water board system. Also, you don't need to go very deep in the SE to get clean water, except in Enugu state where the terrain makes it difficult.
While in the SW especially Lagos, the cost of industrial drilling to enable clean water and the likely treatment setup that must follow due to bad unclean water levels will discourage anyone from drilling. |

Please has anyone ever applied to an Msc at Mount Saint Vincent University and got admitted.
Their process is quite confusing.
First, on the website, it says Nigerian applicant should send a mail to a certain Email address which I did and after several follow ups, it was replied and I was told to send in some documents.
After sending the documents, I received another email with a link to setup a university email.
Now the confusing part is that I didn't do the application myself, neither did I pay any application fee. |

At one point, Tuface was heard telling someone to “shut up,” but it wasn’t clear whether he was referring to Natasha or one of the men on the live with him. So, what's the point of the thread then? Y'all should leave TuFace alone. He has made his choice and so be it. Even if he has issues with his new wife, and so what? Don't your parents who are married for decades have issues with one another? |

SOPWriter: Unfortunately, your situation has become a recurring issue with IRCC these days, and I believe you might be right about the VO's oversight of your application. However, it does not necessarily mean your application wasn't read. It's likely the VO was not convinced by the documents you presented, or found them unclear, confusing, or difficult to verify.
The next step now is to reorganize your application to make it practically impossible for the VO to miss or misunderstand your vital documents. I recommend you include your funding letter in both the "Proof of Means of Financial Support" and "Client Information" sections. You can also label the funding letter as "UNIVERSITY FUNDING: $5,000 CAD" to make it unmistakable.
In addition, your husband should write a notarized Sponsorship Affidavit confirming he is your spouse, committing his full financial resources to your education and living expenses in Canada, and stating that you have full and unrestricted access to the funds necessary for your sponsorship. You can back this with a letter from his bank on official letterhead, confirming he is the account holder and that the account is active and in good standing.
Regarding your third point, invoices and MOUs can be complex, so it is possible the VO could not establish your husband's cash flow or was not convinced. Therefore, I advise you to simplify this with a "Source of Funds" letter from your husband, stating his position, company name, and his annual income. Support his claims with an employment letter, six months of pay slips, and personal bank statements showing the consistent salary deposits.
To strengthen your evidence of relationship, add joint leases, utility bills, and joint bank account statements to the proofs you submitted earlier. You should also emphasize in your SOP that the person funding you is not just your sponsor, but your lawfully-wedded life partner.
Wishing you good luck. Thank you Sir |

JMG12: The VO might have skipped all that; should you intend to apply again, from your explanation, the VO made a misrepresentation (mistake) of your finances. All these mistakes are what you will explain on your LOE. The funds should be in your account as the PA or a greater part of it. Submit all necessary business or employment documents to back up the source of the fund. Thank you sir. Do you mean I should refer to the refusal and the grounds of it when I'm wrtitting SOP for a new application. I do not fully understand what an LOE is or how it differs from the regular SOP. Also, will my husband adding me as a signatory to his account suffice, instead of moving the funds to my own account I keenly await your feedback. |

Bullstriker Sopwriter and all the experienced heads.
My study permit was denied last year and part of the issues listed on my GCMS Note was
1. That I stated I recieved funding of 5k from the university, but that ther3s no evidence of such in my application. This isn't true as I attached the letter of funding same way I attached all other documents.
2. The funds for my tuition are in my husband's account which was clearly stated. They argued I didn't provide affidavit that I'll have access to the funds.
3. They also said my husband didn't provided sufficient evidence as to source of the funds. This is despite the fact taht we attached invoices, MOUs and all that.
4. They said I provided limited information between my self and "what appears to be a financial sponsor". This is despite attaching wedding certificate, wedding pictures and even family pictures.
I'm genuinely worried that it appears as though my application wasn't properly read. Infact I did a table of content and bookmarked all images and keypoints, linking them to the table of content.
Kindly advise |

Pgree: I went on the Studielink site to search for my preferred program, applied, sent my documents and was given a letter of admission. After the letter of admission, you transfer your tuition, insurance fee, visa fee and 15000 euros POF to the school's account. Then they apply for the visa for you.
Its not so hard, the only issue many people face in the whole application is looking for housing and the visa pickup—like in my case. Please did you submit IELTS? I'm applying for a masters and found that most universities require proof of englishn and Nigeria isn't exempted |

The both building are adjacent to each other in Abuja, it might cost you about 50k plus your make budget for your accommodation if you don't have someone living within the municipal. *For the admission either you apply as scholarship to your desired school or you are self funded and go through there website and apply accordingly for your desired course. SOPWriter: Okay, let me answer you with an experience I had with a lady, and I hope it helps you in your reapplication. When the school demanded evidence of study permit approval as a prerequisite for paying the full tuition, I advised her to get a GIC for her living expenses and put her tuition money in a fixed deposit account.
The GIC is irrevocable proof that she had the money necessary to sustain herself in Canada, while the fixed deposit acted as a form of "escrow account," demonstrating that the funds were readily available and already set aside for tuition.
In this applicant's case, she got a letter from her bank stating that the tuition money was being held in a separate, liquid account, ready to be remitted immediately upon visa approval. Her statement of account also showed how and when the money left her regular savings account, while still demonstrating the source of the funds.
This worked for her and may not work for everyone, but I hope you now have an idea of how to address your situation.
Wishing you the very best. Thank you |

ColdHunter: The issue with this tuition thing is that some universities won't let you pay tuition or even deposit unless you've recieved your visa.
This happened to me last year with Simon Fraser University. I had the funds to pay tuition, but they said I could only pay when I receive my visa.
Eventually, my visa was rejected and on my GCMS note, they noted I didn't pay tuition or deposit. This is despite me showing my mail exchange with the admissions office where I asked for payment invoice and they declined.
What do you advise I do in cases like this as I'm applying again next year. Please can anyone respond to this or should I just avoid Simon Fraser? |

Nobody is migrating to Ekiti, Osun, Ondo, Oyo and Ogun states though.
It's a shame and an enormous embarrassment how everyone from South Westen Nigerian hides under the cloak of Lagos state to claim "YorubaLand". It's just like someone from Sokoto claiming Kano state simply becasue they are both NW states.
It's a pity how people are so ashamed of their own state that they deny it just to claim Yorubaland, beacsue of Lagos. |
