You are not listening and we are trying to help. You need to show a clear trail of how the consultancy business arrived at all the funds in the business account. Every 3rd party invoice and receipt from all my customers showing a very clear trail of how the funds were accumulated over time. It is not about having the money in your account, there needs to be a clear trail that will make the visa officer satisfied that the money is yours and when you get to Canada, you have access to it anytime. They dont want people to come and overburden their social welfare system there which is reserved for citizens primarily.

Firstly, I believe the rejection letter came with an Officers Decision note (ODN) this should have stated the exact reason for the denial — not just a generic reason e.g Financials. You can use the ODN note to sort out the next application. However if it's not detailed enough, you could request the GCMS note before reapplying.

Secondly. Was your spouse a dependant in your application?.

Also, ensure your LOE captures the financials very thoroughly during the next submission. I believe it'll be positive next time.

I did upfront. But that's after submission. Did the medical on Thursday.

I have attached a copy of the ODN.

To be clear, I submitted our company MERMAT, STATUS and CAC Registration. Also Bank statement of our joint owned company, this was just to show the source of th3 funds in my spouses account, not to show material POF.

1 yr tuition of 16kCAD was paid from the company account, admittedly the Bank statement was already generated before the tuition was paid and this wasn't done with any ill intention. We produced a notarized company document instructing the tuition payment and a board resolution too.

Then, also my spouses bank statements showing 58m and 34kUSD. No lump deposit and it was for 6months. While my spouses salary in his paid job isn't high, our main funds come from the business, we only used payslip to show sometime, not because we depend on said salary.

Our business is a consultancy business and we shared necessary documents.

Also, documents of two undeveloped lands one of which is to be used to setup a facility along the lines of my program after graduation.

The GIC is a good move but it only fixes half the problem. Your refusal was about availability AND source. Reapply with: (1) GIC funded, (2) full tuition receipt, (3) marriage certificate + notarized spousal support letter, (4) your spouse's income evidence proving the ₦115m matches their earnings, (5) 6–12 months bank statements showing the money's history, and (6) an LOE that directly addresses the refusal reason and explains the funds flow step by step. Get your GCMS notes first so you know the officer's exact concern before reapplying — reapplying blind to the same objection usually gets the same result.

Would my spouse transferring all funds to my account help? If yes, does it have to sit in my account for 6months to make iy useful?

I want to reapply against tye January semester by september.

My application has been denied and it's around the assurance availability of funds, though the funds are in my spouses account which we are both signatories to. And I also paid full 1yr tuition. Available POF is around 115m.

Long story short, I want to defer to January and do GIC to show VO that funds are readily available.
