When I was young, I was told that the only card that matters is red card and can't be overruled by anyone dead or alive, only to discover in 2026 that we have a more powerful card called The Trump card. I have to re-educate myself again at my old age. Not the first time though. Ronaldos red card during the qualifiers that would have made him miss 2 of the World Cup group stage games was also waived. |

I have a feeling it was suspended because of his country.
Even if the red wasn't justified the message in this is clear because if it were some other country it would stand. When same rule was applied for Ronaldo, I didn't hear yall complain. FYI, Ronaldo wasn't even supposed to play in the first two matches of the group phase due to his Red card against Ireland during qualifiers |

njokuuche77: India is the odd one out. Nigeria, Ghana, and Brazil are all Black-majority countries with populations predominantly of African descent. India is the only one that is predominantly South Asian. Unless the question specifies a different classification, this is the most consistent answer. Brazil is not a black majority country. As a matter of fact, blacks only constitute around 15% of the population |

lankyuchebanky: There should be option of partners with the school payment gateway. In my case there was an option of pay by bank transfer with the payment gateway partners with the school but was expensive, then I paid into their Globus bank as required. I paid 5.692m for 5k CAD The only option is via Credit or Debit card. |

AbelAbdul: You are in my shoes. My estimated yearly tuition is around $30k CAD. My tuition is not a flat rate. It would be determined by the number of courses I register. I have core courses I must register and elective courses I would register.
After registration, it may not amount to the $30k CAD.
I have paid the $30k CAD to my student acct.
If after course registration I have money left, I could either apply for refund (which the school allows) or leave it there for next year tuition.
Concerning course registration, my school offered a webinar on that before we started to register and there is an email to contact should you have difficulty in registering your courses.
My advice: Reach out to your school and explain your difficulty to them.
PS: Are you the person that applied to Regina since Nov last here and they didn't make decision on your admission? If you are, Congrats! Finally you made it. Please how did you make this payment? My USD card has a limit of 500USD. Is there a better way of making this payment on flywire more seamless |

My yearly tuition for University of Regina is 16k.
However, exact tuition to pay per year is dependent on tge courses I enrol for.
Now there's been quite some back and forth on the course enrolment as some subjects need clearance from the owner department.
I want to ask if I can just pay a lumpsum deposit of same 16k into my student account, even though there are chances my eventual tuition for 1st year may be lower. And if I can use same reciept as proof of tuition.
This is cos I want to expedite action on my visa application |

amnotapervert: Don't worry or overthink the situation. If you have made the payment with any method you go with and are sure it was successful, simply provide evidence of the payment to IRCC.
IRCC can always contact the school to verify that the payment was received If need be.. and you can always update your application via webform if need be at anytime Therefore, you can make the payment and then proceed to submit your visa application as you plan. Thank you |

AbelAbdul: CIBC is a bank just like UBA, GTB and First Bank. The full meaning of CIBC is Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.
When I wanted to pay my fees, I contacted my school to ask them how to go about it. The school gave me various means of paying my tuition fee including CIBC.
I chose CIBC because it has physical presence, also it has different ways you can pay your fees. Either through your CARD or wire transfer and their charge was low simply because I was paying to my school. I guess my school and the bank partnered.
After making payments, CIBC said it was going to take them 3 business day for the money to reflect in my student acct. The money reflected in my student acct in less that 72hrs.
My school said I could request for a receipt of payment that it will cost me $15 and 2 business days to get the receipt.
So I used confirmation email from CIBC and a screenshot of my student acct to apply for study permit. I did not bother getting receipt from my school. Thank you |

AbelAbdul: When I applied, I used flywire to pay my acceptance deposit. I used CIBC to pa my tuition. I could not wait for the school to issue me a receipt since it involves extra charges.
What I did; I included the confirmation email from flywire and CIBC and used them instead.
I will advise you do up front medical because it the result takes within 10 business days to be sent to IRCC.
Where is that boy that said that IRCC does not accept bank statement of acct from remote gigs like PayPal and co, that it must be only commercial bank acct statements? Pls tell him that info is false. I submitted PayPal statement even submitted Opay bank statement and got my study permit approved. Please how does CIBC work? If the CIBC is also not instant, then it's not necessarily better than Flywire as you said it's the email you used and not that the school confirmed payment instantly |

Good morning all,
I am paying my tuition today using Flywire against the September intake. I also intend to apply for my visa on firday.
My worry is if I can use the flywire reciept as proof of tuition payment and if IRCC accepts it as valid proof.
This is becasue my school said it may take as much as 7 working days to confirm payment and issue a school reviept and I can't afford to wait. |

voortrekker966: I did.
I repeat; there's no road yet from Apo to Kuje. If you are new to Abuja show the video to someone who knows Abuja and you'll be educated on the roads you videoed.
What you videoed was Apo roundabout to Apo Mechanic. You weren't even anywhere close to Wassa. You didn't even get to Waru not to talk of Wassa. Then you videoed Kuje road from the airport interchange and some parts of the road to Gwagwalada from Kuje town. Where did you video Kuje road from Apo? The road doesn't even exist.
The person driving you around may have scammed you anyway. Even the Kuje-Gwagwalada road isn't up to 50% complete. I hate that the citizens of this country are willing tools in the hands of politician's propaganda. Why exactly are you lying that an unfinished road is complete? Forget the beautiful road markings at the UniAbuja section of that road. Infact most of the Gwagwalada section is totally untouched coming from Abuja- Lokoja road. |
