voortrekker966: I did.
I repeat; there's no road yet from Apo to Kuje. If you are new to Abuja show the video to someone who knows Abuja and you'll be educated on the roads you videoed.
What you videoed was Apo roundabout to Apo Mechanic. You weren't even anywhere close to Wassa. You didn't even get to Waru not to talk of Wassa. Then you videoed Kuje road from the airport interchange and some parts of the road to Gwagwalada from Kuje town. Where did you video Kuje road from Apo? The road doesn't even exist.
The person driving you around may have scammed you anyway. Even the Kuje-Gwagwalada road isn't up to 50% complete. I hate that the citizens of this country are willing tools in the hands of politician's propaganda. Why exactly are you lying that an unfinished road is complete? Forget the beautiful road markings at the UniAbuja section of that road. Infact most of the Gwagwalada section is totally untouched coming from Abuja- Lokoja road. |

Doyou2019: Couldn't agree more. The werey ref went diabolical on us as soon as it became clear that PSG did not have it in them to break our resolve. The moment he handed Mosquera a yellow for time wasting, I knew we were in for it in the second half. Was Mosquera not guilty of time wasting? Was the yellow card against the rule of the game? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans Celebrate Arsenal's Champions League Loss by ColdHunter(f): 10:15am On May 31*. Modified: 11:12am On May 31 |
kanmie: Rooney 🗣️ “I’ll be completely honest, Arsenal were absolutely robbed tonight, there is no other way to put it. You look at that foul on Noni Madueke in the box; it’s a stonewall, 100% clear penalty. How the referee or VAR hasn't given that is beyond me, and it completely changes the dynamic of a Champions League final.
But for me, the moment that truly gave it away the moment you knew exactly what the referee was doing was that halftime whistle. To blow the whistle right as Arsenal are literally standing there about to take a corner? I’ve played this game a long time, and you rarely see that unless there’s a blatant bias. It was shocking, and it set the tone for everything that followed.
In the second half, it became a totally different game, and not because of the football. The referee made absolutely sure that every single 50/50 call, every little nudge, and every major decision went straight to PSG. It completely killed Arsenal’s momentum. But to be fair, I’m not even surprised. We saw the exact same story when they played Bayern Munich earlier in the tournament. The officiating was heavily skewed then, and it’s happened again on the biggest stage.
PSG might be lifting the trophy, but they cannot honestly look at themselves in the mirror and be proud of the way they’ve won this final. To win the biggest prize in club football like that? It leaves a horrible taste. Arsenal deserved so much more tonight.” I call BS. The Madueke duel was never a penalty. As a matter of fact, he was the one grabbing Nunes. WTF is Rooney yapping about? Secondly, PSG were thoroughly deserving of the win and it would have been a travesty if they lost. Arsenal had just a single shot on target and could barely complete a single pass all game. Theres nobody who watched the game that thought Ars3nal were deserving of a win. PSG battered them by every single metric. You should be more contented that Mosquera didn't recieve a second yellow for the penalty. |

Nairaland General › Re: Return Home: Leave Their America by ColdHunter(f): 12:43pm On May 27 |
An impressive piece of literature and that, really is where it ends.
The United States will remain one of the greatest symbols of modern civilisation long after our generation is gone. Regardless of criticism or bad press, America continues to represent aspiration, opportunity, and ambition on a scale few nations can rival no matter how much they try.
For people across the Middle East, Asia, Latin America, Europe, and Africa, the American dream still carries a unique global appeal. To many, it remains the ultimate destination for opportunity, innovation, influence, and personal advancement.
Even among its loudest critics, if presented with a choice between American, Russian, Iranian, Saudi Arabian, or Chinese citizenship, many would still choose America without hesitation.
So, you can keep conjuring grammar all you want, America has come to stay and even the children of their adversaries are living in the American dream. |

Sports › Re: Last Season Nigeria Football League Champions, Remo Stars Are Relegated by ColdHunter(f): 8:12am On May 25 |
mrkings84: That's a bad one and this may cause people to taunt the quality of the league. But this doesn't only happen in Nigeria league.
In England for example, Leicester won the league in 2015, few years later were relegated to Championship, just this concluded season, they were again relegated to league 1.
Chelsea on the other hand won the FIFA club world cup last season, but this season they finished 10th position in the league...
So shits do happen everywhere in football! Comparing apples and oranges . Leicester were relegated from EPL almost a decade after winning the league, so the league win isn't relevant to their relegation story. While Remo were relegated immediately after winning. That's unprecedented |
