Guestmale:The present system of government is not working unless you want to receive yourself. The main issue with Nigeria democracy is too much wastage in the name of governance, the system was mimicked after the US system which is a rich country while Nigeria is a poor country. How can trillions be budgeted to service a bicameral legislature, over bloated executives with several advisers and PA who do nothing every year leaving nothing left for capital projects and you say the system is ok. What is required is to look for a system that works for a poor country like Nigeria where the cost of governance is shrunk to the minimum, the issue is more than just holding leaders accountable unless you just want to be stupid. |
JuanDeDios:How many western country is richer than China apart from the US? He be like you don smoke Igbo abi. China is far richer than all the western countries combined once you remove the US. |
JuanDeDios:So what do you propose then? Is it not glaring that this present rubbish system is not working even to the blind? Perhaps, you did r read the text but he stated it there that he doesn't have all the answers and so do I but there definitely have to be a systemic change in Nigerias governance style cos it's presently heading for doom. |
Honestey:Go and check if you want to learn and stop disgracing yourself online. Nigerias debt as at when Tinubu took office was 97trillion today the debt has risen to 145Trillion, meaning Tinubu has borrowed over 48Trillion in just two years in office!!! No other administration in the history of this country has ever borrowed that much within two years in office. Intact the total amount Bihari borrowed in his tenure was not up to 45 Trillion despite paying subsidy . |
Honestey:This part of your quote got me cracking up cos it smarks of ignorance. Really!!! We all know the hardship is as a result of Tinubu's determination to raise money for his government without continuing to borrow and plunge the nation into more debts. Are you aware that despite the so called subsidy removal and dollar floating, this Tinubus administration has borrowed more than any other previous government? You gullible zombies should keep deceiving yourselves. |
Raph82:The answer to the last part of the question you raised is because US is the number 1 economy in the world where majority of the population of 400m can afford the basic needs of life, contrast this with the situation of Nigeria where majority of the 200m population are either below the poverty line or just living from hand to mouth. If you ship your goods to US , you stand a higher chance of selling it than in any other country because there's not just the population but a buoyant population that can afford it. But if you ship to a country like Nigeria where they are struggling to feed, you will have few people that can afford it because they are still battling with the basic needs of life. It's often said that the majority of the African robust population is just a waste because they are unproductive. |
Dotherightthing:They need to return your school fees cos you are too dull to be engaged. How can a full grown man say swapping is same as borrowing. Do you know what trade by batter is? In the olden days people swap salt for cutlass does that mean they are in debt? Even if you swap crude in advance for petrol how does that equate to borrowing? One of the reasons I left this platform for a while is that people here are too dull to be engaged and even when corrected they are defiant in their ignorance. Keep wallowing in your poor mind and ignorance as I cannot help your situation. Ode. |
Barrywilly:We will bring it up because they are both APC or is APC now disowning APC again, I thought the one in aso rock said he will continue from where buharis stopped or is he not continuing in Buharis footsteps again? |
Dotherightthing:You are the dullard here slowpoke. Nigeria was not borrowing to pay subsidy before Tinubu you ignorant fool, what was happening was that NNPC was exchanging crude oil for refined petroleum products, that's why NNPC was the sole importer of petrol during buharis regime. Stop lying and misleading the public idiot. |
adenigga:I thought Tinubu and his zombies said prices have come down and there's no more hardship in the land. When we say propaganda is different from reality this is what we meant. |
razzydoo:One of the people he's refering to is already spotted here. Don't be surprised he borrowed the data he used to type this rubbish from MTN and he's yet to feed since yesterday. APC Una do this one sha, turning grown adults to daytime zombies like this. |
femisplash:The same Lagos Ibadan expressway and Oyo/Ogbomosho road that has been under construction since I was in secondary school in fgc Ogbomosho in the 90s is still under construction today.May God punish all Nigerian former leaders and Tinubu together. |
back2sender:But your propaganda government told us that Nigeria is now exporting more than it's producing, in fact they told us Nigeria has recorded trade surplus since Tinubu became President. Immediately, I saw that news I knew this idiots have started deceiving their gullible zombies again. Because it is impossible to be having a trade surplus and your currency will be depreciating the way naira has been depreciating. What has simply happened in Nigeria's case is that importation has reduced due to diminished purchasing power caused by the same Tinubu, not that there's any significant productivity in the economy that has led to more exportation. This Tinubu government will not kill his zombies with propaganda |
APOPTOSIS:Did anyone tell you it's his national team statistics that's pushing him for world beat or ballon d or? It's definitely his club performance and not his national team, he plays for the best football club in the world which is real Madrid, for the likes of osimhen to get into world beat conversations they need to first get into the elite teams like real Madrid and start doing their magic there before they are reckoned with. That's the way football is structured,if you want to win the big prize you get into the big leagues. |
lawbabs:You are correct , we want their names so we can bully and stalk them on social media. We as electorates reserve every right to bully and stalk people we elect to do our wish who are doing otherwise. So is there anything wrong in being transparent and letting the people know senators who are doing what they want or not, isn't that what true democracy is about unless you have traded your brain for maggot yeast. |
NinjaMetahuman:This one is an ignorant Tinubu supporter that cannot even read yet got 97 likes from ignorant people like him. I have always said this forum is full of low iq people and that's why I've avoided it for a while. Naira for crude sale has been suspended since march 2 by NNPC and that's what has caused Dangote to also stop Naira for petrol sales. Intact this fact is stated in the public statement Dangote released which is what you are commenting on,but because you didn't read before commenting you are stating what is stalled yet you got 90 plus likes. No wonder the country is like this , the leaders are stupid and the followers voting them are dumb. |
Bluntemperor:Os this not shameful even for your own children to read of you have any? It's only on this forum that Tinubu still has supporters like you, in public discourse in offices, bars, market place ,Twitter and IG Tinubu has closed to zero supporters and his public approval is close to zero meanwhile I stay in Tinubus Lagos. What I suspect is that it's the same set of sponsored people who have opened different accounts in different names to support their paymasters and I hope something is done about it. On twitter and Instagram it's curses that your likes receive on a daily basis not the 100 imaginary likes you people give yourselves. |
iLoveYouToo:Ozuor, that's what you zombies use to make yourself feel happy. Has Nigeria stopped bleeding now that subsidy was removed? Has that put food on the table if Nigerians now? Has corruption stopped in Nigeria now? If you believed that petrol subsidy only benefitted some imaginary people and not the Nigerian masses then you need medical examination, till date they have asked the same people that sold you these lies to provide the names of the imaginary people that looted the subsidy funds they have not been able to name a single person. Removal of subsidy only added more money to government purse and removed a lot from Nigerian purse meaning Nigerians became poorer and politicians became richer. Massive looting is still ongoing in various government offices in billions so you can tell this your faded story to the gods. |
nlfpmod:See president with balls and getting things done immediately. Im so happy for America that they brought this man back. Very impressive speech yet he rendered everything offhand without reading anything written speech, we have one iragbiji dunce here in aso rock that stammered even the one he read from a book on his inauguration day yet there was nothing inspiring about the speech. |
ObaKlaz:It's like the only thing Neymar can be relevant these days is to talk. Neymar should go and get fit and worry about playing for AlHilal instead of just talking on media. He has been earning ridiculous wages for 2 years now but yet to kick a ball. |
MT:I still don't get how someone will be proud of his ignorance and lack of logical reasoning like this. Even in your own submission, you have contradicted yourself. You mentioned federal ministry of agric set out policies, now if you the so called policy is not working as seen in the inflated food price all over the country , should we be blaming your teacher in school or the person that set out the not working policy. One thing is crystal clear since I started engaging zombies, it's impossible to support APC and still have your brain intact, they are mutually exclusive events that cannot match. |
nwirinedu:A lot of people are even ignorant of the content of the tax bill, they only think the bill is something to trigger the north due to sharing formular proposed. The main thing that affects them which is what you listed, they are not paying attention to it. How can the government be planning to increase vat to 15% in an economy where purchasing power of the citizens is almost eroded? |
Lithiumite:Who is responsible for the currency devaluation and lack of capacity you alluded zombie? A government met dollar at 500 and now it's 1600, so whether it's directly of indirectly the government is still responsible and totally accountable. I hope you can see, you are the unintelligent and daft one here and not the person you quoted. |
MT:You must be very daft to be quoting things out of context just to divert blame from your God Tilumbu. When the minister appointed by Tilumbu was making the promise, he didn't know that state government owned the land then abi? If your attempt is to shift the blame to state government, what then is his function as minister of agriculture? It means he should not even have any office in the first place if we are to go by your logic since you are absolving the federal government of any blame. Mumu zombified human being. |
emkz:My worry is not even about what you posted but about the ronuists/agbado posts always getting the same amount of likes. I think Seun should be wary of various parody accounts and BOTs used in generating this likes to make ronuists feel good with themselves. |
Kdon2:I don't give a Bleep about Obi or any politician, my response is on the message and not on the messenger. Besides the last time I checked Obi is not the president neither is he holding any political posts so he can afford to go to anywhere he likes to get his treatment. My interest as a Nigerian and who I will hold accountable is the president so he should practice what he preaches. Obi can go to hell as far as I'm concerned, Obi does not owe you any obligation, who you should hold accountable is the one leading you. |
Kdon2:In what way please explain? What he said actually makes a lot of sense, how do you understand the problems if you don't use the facilities here in Nigeria. You budgeted Billions for state house hospital but when you have just a toothache you rush to France and later come back to tell Nigerians to patronise local product to help the naira. Is that not the height of hypocrisy from a government to it's people? |
MightySparrow:You will say you are just eating your own Nigerian rice and don't generalize,Nigerian rice has been available since the days of Abakaliki stony rice for over 40 years or more now and it was far cheaper than the foreign ones. If your reference is to the non stony Nigerian rice then it still did not start from Tinubus government , it was started by Jonathan's rice revolution, continued by Buhati and not Tinubu at all, I recall Ambode and Kebbi state govt in Jonathan's time coming up with Lake rice and the price was then far cheaper than the imported ones, it's only in Tinubu govt that we have Nigerian rice that is now at same price wit foreign rice and it's not something to be proud of at all. It's the same way you are attributing refineries that Buhari paid fully for it's rehabilitation to Tinubu, the funny thing is while Tinubu himself is praising Buhari for fixing the refineries, his zombies like Reno and the ones here on nairaland are praising him for the refineries. You zombies should stop clinging at any straw to praise your master and attributing things he has no clue of to him. |
kayperry:You have made an excellent point which is only applicable in theory but not practical. Do you think a bag of rice will ever come down to 30k again , or petrol reduce to 500/litre ever again? That's the main problem here which you and I know the prices will never get reduced again . Now if we all admit that the prices of basic items will never go back to the way it was, then why will you expect the workers wages to remain the same, take for instance I fuel my car 50k weekly to work now and that's 300k monthly on fuel alone but my salary remains what it was in january. If my fuelling cost and other things have increased and there's no hope of it reducing again, why will you expect my salary not to increase to match the attendant inflation that has ruined my salary? Mind you,the government herself pegged the 2025 budget at an exchange rate 1500 to a dollar so don't expect the price of anything to reduce from what it is now cos it can only go up further. |
GeneralPula:It's like putting the cart before the horse , when you know you are unproductive, why don't you get productive and start the exportation first before the floating. Currency devaluation is good for an export economy not Nigeria, take South Korea and china for example. Now purchasing power is eroded in Nigeria and companies are making losses and closing down due to the hyperinflation in the economy. |
Bluntemperor:So what exactly is your own proposed solution then? Workers should accept things the way it is when it's obvious the present salary cannot take them home? Do you know I spent 50k on fuelling my car alone? In a month thats 300k on fuel alone, what happens to feeding, taking care of my family, paying house rent etc. Salary should be increased , when inflation increases, salary increases again and the cycle should continue. The government cannot be feeding fat while we the workers suffer. |
yoruboid:This should be the biggest joke I have read in 2025 and yet it's just the first day of the year. So you are saying this economy that you are seeing with your own korokoro eye that you are not been told is doing fine and very well that Obi and Atiku are also praising it. An economy that has 35% inflation rate that has eroded all purchasing power of the citizens, an economy that the currency performed as the 3rd worst currency in the world losing over 200% of it's value within a year, an economy that saw energy costs which is the primary factor for production increased by over 400% in less than a year is the one you delusional APC zombie is praising like this. To say you people have made me give up on Nigeria because of your psychophancy is an understatement I swear. |
