That's not a good sign at all and it's one of the early of CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease) , you will need to act fast before is gets to total kidney failure.
First, go and get yourself tested , request for electrolyte and urea test.
Once the stage of the disease is ascertained , you might need to enrol for dialysis.

BusinessRe: Nigeria Buys 61.7m Barrels US Crude Amid Bulk Exports by coleon(m): 1:42pm On Apr 21
Reference:
I don't think importing crude oil is bad news. It has become clear that we don't have enough crude to feed Dangote. We have to accept that. And as we have decided that as a private entity he is free to buy from wherever he can get it. Who knows if those folks he buys from have a stake in his refinery.

What will have been embarrassing is if Nigeria was offering him crude particularly at a discount and he turned the country down in preference for imports.

It is clear we (that is government and citizens) have decided the foreign exchange we get from exporting crude oil is more valuable than taxes and royalties from the local economy.
Dangote importing crude to Nigeria that produces crude is not only a bad news but a terrible news.
I don't know who is teaching you people economics today but basic economics should tell you that the moment you import any products into your economy you have taken jobs and all the benefits in that value chain to another clime, you have also depleted your already scarce FX reserves to another clime thereby increasing your inflation level that's already one of the highest in the world at 15.63%(highest in the whole west Africa).
Using Nigeria to compare America is one of the most illogical and senseless comparison I have seen. Nigeria needs all the value it can get from it's limited resources while America doesn't , the economy of California alone is more than the whole of Africa. America can afford to only import crude and not tap her own crude because it can afford to do so, meanwhile crude oil is priced in American currency so importation of crude does not affect American currency in any way but it affects the naira and trigger inflation.
I don't know who teaches you people in school these days because the kind of thins I read online amazes me and I fear for the future of this country.

Useless government that never gets her priorities right. You allocated just N35m to health in a full year for capital projects and you are building useless road to Sokoto for bandits and supporter of APC to use.
The last day I took my mum to Luth, my eyes was full of tears for this useless country, no bed space, no doctors on ground, nurses are on strike or no available radiology equipments cos it's all damaged.
If you support this useless government then you are as wicked as the government.

ogascomax:
That was why I said if that is true. Because it's crazy to think about the possibility for that to be true. It's almost impossible.
Many Nigerians only read headlines and don't read the news content.
The news here is that only 36m was allocated for capital projects in the hospitals, it doesn't mean that recurrent expenditures like payment of staff salaries did not receive allocations but capital expenditures like purchase of equipments like xray machines, radiotherapy machines and even building if bed space centres only received 36m for a while year in this entire country.
You can now see why people are dying like fowls in the hospitals when they are not equipped to carry out their functions.
PoliticsRe: Only ₦36m, Out Of ₦218b Was Released For The Health Sector In 2025 by coleon(m): 1:00pm On Feb 16
I have always maintained that the reason you find all these APC fanboys and urchins permeating the media space is because they are yet to have any terminal disease or they do not have anyone in their family with a health problem they are nursing.
The day I took my mum to Luth is the day I actually cursed this country and realized that the phrase 'Nigeria has happened to me' is not a joke but our reality as a country .
The issues in Nigeria tertiary hospitals are enormous, they will tell you no bed space, no oxygen, long queues of people to receive radiotherapy until the patient is dead, no consultant available cos they have all japaed.
No stethoscope, Doctors or nurses are on strike etc.
Yet they allocated only 38m to health in a whole year while the national assembly alone got over 200Bn for 400 members, yet these people still have supporters all over the internet who see nothing wrong in this evil administration called APC.
My prayer to you if you are still supporting this government is that God visit your family with a terminal disease so we can see whether you will still be standing on the useless mandate.

You sound very unlettered and ignorant with the kind of stupid posts you always put here to disgrace yourself.
Of course, your place of residence should be your priority anywhere in the world. If you are a Nigerian and you stay in new York then new York should be your priority. The reason is because you pay your tax to your place of residence and not your state of origin.
The place that will have the most impact in your well being is your place of residence and not your state of origin.
I was born and bred in Lagos and my father is from osun state so my priority is Lagos and not Osun that I have never visited. My PAYE tax that I'm paying to the Lagos state govt has recently been increased by almost 6 figures monthly and you expect me to fold my hands while politicians budget it to buy houses and SUVs for themselves in Lagos.

PoliticsRe: List Of What Tinubu Has Done In 3 Years - Akingangan by coleon(m): 8:31am On Jan 02
K
akingangan:
1. Removed fuel subsidy and unified exchange rates, leading to long-term economic stability because it eliminates fiscal distortions and attracts genuine investments.

2. Doubled government revenues in some periods, reaching over ₦31.9 trillion in 2024, because this provides more funds for infrastructure and social programs without excessive borrowing.

3. Reduced fiscal deficit from 5.4% of GDP in 2023 to 3.0% in 2024 because a lower deficit promotes fiscal discipline and reduces debt burden on future generations.

4. Increased foreign reserves from around $4 billion in 2023 to over $23 billion (some reports up to $46 billion) by late 2024 because higher reserves strengthen the naira and protect against external shocks.

5. Achieved trade surpluses for multiple consecutive quarters because this improves the balance of payments and supports currency stability.

6. Boosted non-oil exports to nearly 48% of total exports because diversifying exports reduces over-reliance on oil and builds economic resilience.

7. Nigerian Stock Exchange gained around 48% in 2025 because a strong stock market reflects growing investor confidence and creates wealth for citizens.

8. Upgraded credit ratings and attracted increased foreign direct investment, especially in the digital economy, because better ratings lower borrowing costs and drive job-creating investments.

9. Projected GDP growth exceeding 4% annualized because sustained growth expands the economy, creates jobs, and improves living standards.

10. Launched the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), benefiting hundreds of thousands of students (over 300,000–788,000 disbursements for tuition and upkeep) because it removes financial barriers to higher education and builds a skilled workforce.

11. Provided presidential grants and loans to over 900,000 Nigerians for entrepreneurship and skills development because this empowers youth to start businesses and reduces unemployment.

12. Implemented a ₦70,000 national minimum wage to improve living standards because higher wages boost workers' purchasing power and stimulate economic activity.

13. Allocated N80 billion for infrastructure upgrades in 100 federal unity schools because modern facilities enhance learning quality and promote national unity through diverse student interactions.

14. Reopened all 47 federal unity secondary schools after temporary closure due to insecurity because ensuring safe access to education supports continuous learning and student development.

15. Established 119 learning centers nationwide for almajiri education because integrating vulnerable children into formal education reduces street begging and builds future productivity.

16. Approved a new National Policy on Almajiri Education because a structured policy addresses root causes of out-of-school children and promotes inclusive development.

17. Began re-establishment of 157 model almajiri schools, integrating out-of-school children, because this brings millions back into education and curbs social vulnerabilities.

18. Appointed new leadership for the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children Education because strong leadership ensures effective implementation of reforms.

19. Unveiled comprehensive almajiri education reforms with international support because modernized education for almajiri children fosters social integration and long-term national progress.

20. Initiated major highway projects, including Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road, Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway, Abuja-Kaduna-Kano Road, and Lagos-Ibadan Expressway because better roads reduce travel time, lower transportation costs, and boost trade.

21. Invested over ₦2 trillion in road infrastructure because massive investment creates jobs during construction and supports economic growth long-term.

22. Modernized ports (e.g., Tin Can Island, Lekki Deep Sea Port integration) and expanded rail networks because efficient ports and rail improve logistics, reduce import costs, and enhance export competitiveness.

23. Signed the Electricity Act 2023 to decentralize power generation and encourage private investment because reliable electricity is essential for industrial growth and household convenience.

24. Launched a diaspora mortgage scheme offering low-interest loans up to N50 million for Nigerians abroad to build or buy homes because it channels diaspora remittances into productive housing investment.

25. Unveiled a new housing platform for diaspora Nigerians to purchase properties across all 36 states and the FCT because easy access encourages diaspora contribution to the economy and reduces housing deficit.

26. Implemented Renewed Hope Housing Programme with nationwide construction and diaspora-inclusive financing because increasing housing supply makes homeownership affordable for more Nigerians.

27. Groundbreaking for 3,500 housing units in Renewed Hope City, Abuja because large-scale projects create construction jobs and provide modern living spaces.

28. Eliminated over 13,500 terrorists and enhanced military operations in troubled regions because improved security restores peace, enables farming and business, and protects lives.

29. Rolled out Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) program to lower transportation costs because cheaper fuel alternatives reduce public transport fares and ease inflation pressures.

30. Introduced consumer credit schemes because accessible credit helps families afford essentials and stimulates local consumption.

31. Provided agricultural funds leading to increased food production (e.g., 20% rise in rice output in some reports) because boosting local farming lowers food prices and enhances food security.

32. Distributed cash transfers and subsidies to vulnerable groups because direct support alleviates poverty and improves quality of life for the most needy.

33. Rewarded Super Falcons players (after 10th WAFCON title in 2025) with $100,000 equivalent each, a three-bedroom apartment, and national honour (OON) because generous rewards motivate excellence and inspire young girls to pursue sports.

34. Awarded Super Falcons technical crew $50,000 equivalent each, housing, and honours because recognizing support staff ensures sustained team performance.

35. Rewarded D’Tigress players (after fifth consecutive AfroBasket title in 2025) with $100,000 equivalent each, an apartment, and OON honour because such incentives promote women's basketball dominance and national pride.

36. Awarded D’Tigress coaching staff $50,000 each, housing, and honours because valuing coaches encourages professional development in sports.

37. Used these rewards to motivate athletes, inspire youth (especially girls), and promote women's sports and national unity because celebrating female champions advances gender equality and unites the country through shared success.

38. Increased oil production to around 1.68 million barrels per day because higher output boosts government revenue for public spending.

39. Expanded digital identity enrollment (over 126 million in NIMC database) because comprehensive identity coverage improves service delivery, reduces fraud, and enables targeted welfare programs.

40. Re-adopted the old national anthem because it restores cultural heritage and fosters a sense of historical continuity and patriotism.
These people will never cease to amaze me sha.
Imagine a full grown man quoting this as an achievement instead of a flaw of the government.
"Reopened all 47 federal unity secondary schools after temporary closure due to insecurity because ensuring safe access to education supports continuous learning and student development."
Whose incompetence allowed the insecurity that led to the closure of the school in the first place? APC data boys, Una mumu no get limit at all.

It seems budget presentation in this country is just a ceremonial exercise without any substance or accounting logic behind it. We are just about to end 2025, where you presented a budget of 35Trn and just two days ago, the minister of finance mentioned that you only realised a total revenue of 10Trn including your reckless borrowing.
It means you were only able to fund less than 30% of the budget. Now you are presenting a budget of 52Trn for 2026, where and how do you intend to fund the budget?
What happens to your deficit of over 70% in 2025? All these our leaders need to apply a bit of brain in what they do and how they lead this country even though majority of them are just plainly bland and don't have any substance.

You are getting it wrong bro. Of course the major countries are the prize in terms of who everyone wants to see.

The point is that among African countries, many would like to see a Nigeria there above a less known DRC.
I think the international audience will be indifferent about who qualifies between Nigeria and Congo because they know the two won't have any impact in the world cup.
Look at it this way, it's like someone asking you who you will like to see at the world cup between Jordan and Iran at the world cup. Will your reaction towards the question not be indifferent?
It's the same way an Asian man will feel if you ask him who he'd prefer to see that the world cup between Nigeria and Congo, but if you ask the same person if he'd like to see Brazil, Argentina , Spain etc at the world cup then the reaction will be different. The world audience only want to see the big named footballing countries apart from their countries at the world cup.
I for one I don't watch the WC until it gets to the second round because that's when the teams I really want to watch will start playing themselves. Matches between Iran, Bolivia, Jamaica etc are not my concern and so will the average football fan worldwide will react to a Nigerian match too. The only reason you are seeing Nigeria as an exception is simply because you are a Nigerian and I won't blame you for that though.

The mistake you are making is I didn't mention FIFA. I mentioned international viewers. And yeah, Naija is more popular internationally. Thaz all.
I always get sick and tired of Nigerians and this chest beating. No international viewers want to see Nigeria at the world cup, it's only Nigerians that wants to see Nigeria at the world cup. The international viewers only want to see countries such as France, Spain, England, Brazil, Argentina,Portugal etc at the world cup and Nigeria is far from being in that category.
How can any international viewer be praying to see a country that played her first world cup only in 1994, 60 years after the first edition was played and whose only major achievement so far is to get to the second round when the likes of Cameroon already made quarter finals as far back as 1990 before Nigeria even qualified for a world cup.
This delusion is only in Nigeria head and if you on world forum like quora or Reddit you will see that Nigeria foes not have any levels at all in world cup and no international football fan is dying to see Nigeria there, infact Morocco is the only team being fancied internationally amongst the world audience.

I'm not sure anybody and even America has argued that all the killings have been carried out on only Christians and there's no Muslim casualties at all. The message being passed is very clear and that is killing of Christians should stop ultimately and it's within the right of Christians to do that, if the Muslims are comfortable being killed that's their problem but Christians should not be killed.

What has been done here is to run to who can help the killing of Christians which is the US, ilthe Muslims too are free to run to Saudi Arabia to help them since it's clear that the Nigerian government is incompetent and unable to stop the killings. No Christians should be killed anymore, otherwise the bombs of US will rein in and it will be brutal.

Omor, the Moroccan football teams have really come to global limelight.

- The men's senior soccer team got to the semifinal of the World Cup in 2022.

- The men's U-23 soccer team also got to the semifinal of the Olympics

- Their women's senior soccer team got to the finals of AFCON 2024.

- And now, their U-20 team has won the U-20 World Cup for the first time.

NOTE ALSO: They are the only team that won all 10 matches of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Morocco is getting it right in all facets of football and I'm really envious of them. They have gradually developed their football through a system that works and perhaps FIFA football development academy set up there also helped it grow.
If there's any African country that can win the world cup sonner than later then that would be Morocco who have surpassed teams like Cameroon, Egypt and Nigeria before they even start going to the world cup.
It's also surprising that their women football has grown tremendously by getting to the wafcon final for an Arab nation who don't really value women .
Congratulations to Morocco and perhaps other African nations should go and understudy Morocco football and how they got it right.
SportsRe: Nigeria's Narrow Escape Loss To Benin — Are We Really Going To The World Cup? by coleon(m): 3:35pm On Oct 16, 2025
emiye:
Nigeria is more consistent and usually have a formidable performance compared to other African countries, you can argue it, but it is true. The closest to Nigeria at the world cup with a relative consistent performance is Senegal. Morroco may do same at this next world cup.

Nigeria has progressed pass the first round 50% of the time it has featured , which is a good result, take note that usually half of the teams go home in the first round, for African sides the statistics is worse, more like 80%. On situations we didn't go pass first round, 2 of it has been a narrow miss. In 2018 world cup, we were looking good for 2nd round, until the last 8 minutes goal by Argentina, and a VAR penalty that should have been awarded but dismissed. In 2014, we stood on business against France in second round until they took out our main midfield maestro Onazie and loss to France. In 2010 world cup, a close one as well , a red card in 2nd game by Kaita cost us the game, and a 2-2 draw when we needed a win made us to drop out.
If you are observant, Nigeria has not been to any world cup losing all 3 games. We have played Argentina, an obviously better side about 4 times and only lost by a goal margin.

Even CAF will prefer Nigeria representing Africa in global tourney than a Togo or S/Africa or cape verde. There is a reason why Nigeria also has more Africa nations cup medal than any other African country; CONSISTENCY. Go figure.

All the times we have not been to the world cup in the last 44 years, we lost on either Head to Head or Away goal.
I suppose you are contradicting yourself in some of the comments you made here. How can you even be suggesting that Nigeria has had better outing in the world cup than Cameroon who has not only been in the world cup than Nigeria but has also been to the quarter final as far back as 1990 when Nigeria was yet to qualify for one. Also, you attested to losing to Argentina by a goal margin but forgetting that you have met Argentina 5 times and lost 5 times which indicates total dominance on a team just filling up the numbers and not competing, there's always a story or excuse to be given by every team beaten in a competition so forget about that penalty not given etc yarns. As far as I'm concerned Nigeria even if they get to the world cup is only just completing the numbers and not really competing Alfie anything as usual.
The only African team I see competing is Morocco so all that noise about Nigeria showing up in world stage is only imaginary and not based on facts on ground.

If you have followed the Nigerian National team well enough you should know that we may struggle with minnows in Africa but we are no pushovers at the Global stage. This team might be struggling with less fancied African teams but they will be hard to beat at the World Cup. I am sure you must be one of those that doubted we could beat Benin by 4:0. WE ARE NIGERIA, WE RISE TO THE OCCASION.
Whenever I read statements like Nigeria always shine at the global stage I always laugh out loud.
Statistics on ground does not support this notion in any way, Nigeria has never gone beyond 2nd round in the world cup before meanwhile African countries like Cameroon, Senegal and Morocco have been to the quarter final and semi final respectively. So how can a country that has never gone past the second round and have lost to Argentina in every world cup it has ever played be boasting of rising to the occasion at the global stage?
