Modern Ac are built on hvac design so no need having a complex system and littering the ceilings with ducts and pipes when it is not a large hall, here there a base floor and first floor how will you channel the impossible!?!.
That means those on first floor will get frozen as you need to keep a distance et all.

So leave matter, mr I too know, AC can serve the same purpose, ac has normal fan, ventilator and condenser so what are you capping sef.

Any commercial building with this type of caacity should have used central cooling for many reasons. One is maintenance. Its easier to maintain two to 6 rooftop units than 50 split Two is safety. 50 split units in one room can trigger a fire. Three is space. Putting it in the roof frees up space from the sides. Four is efficiency. Its easier to cool a hall from above than from the sides.
All the shopping malls built in Nigeria have central cooling systems including Onitsha Mall built by Africa Capital Alliance.
That said, the ICC is fit for purpose but requires trained maintenance professionals to ensure those acs are checked frequently.

Former Nigeria’s President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has landed at Anambra International Airport, Umueri, ahead of the maiden Symposium of the Chief Emeka Anyaoku Institute for International Studies and Diplomacy, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, scheduled to hold today, 8th March, 2022.

Former President Obasanjo who was recieved by Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano, rated the airport high in terms of standard and class.

The event which has Chief Obasanjo as the Chairman, will take place at ASUU Secretariat Conference Hall, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Professor Charles Esimone was also present to recieve the former President.

These are the kind of projects you build when you have arrived. Not when you're still struggling
How many jobs will this create. The hundreds of millions spent here could easily be used to energize greater industrialization. With the big commercial activities that happen at Onitsha on daily basis, that area needs a serious industrial set up. Why is Onitsha selling Chinese products when the government can help the traders to transition to small scale producers through a regulated injection of funds?
Somebody will come here and say it will generate so so amount of revenue, but the fact is that just like ABS and other government agencies, this will soon be mismanaged.
Why is it hard for our Governments in the East to mopp up excess cash from different government revenue generating agencies and use same to help SMEs and start ups? With all the ebullient traders that come from this place, why not continue with the Peter Obis method of investing reasonable sums in private businesses in order to reap bountiful earnings and taxes rather than following the rest of governors elsewhere to waste fortunes on building endless government houses, buying endless SUVs for political office holders and on white elephant projects like this?

Orlu Senatorial zone of Imo state and Ihiala LGA of Anambra state are the Sambisa Forest of Alaigbo now. These places are no go areas. It is so sad. The people of Lilu in Ihiala LGA have all deserted the town leaving only criminals there. The military and Police are scared stiff to go there. It is a shame.
