This is fallacy of generalization. Note that everyone’s case is different from each other. A single person traveling alone might get a decision within 3 days depending on his/her case. Each and every member of a family will be scrutinized separately and individually, which might take longer time compared to others. The decision makers are not the same or just one person. So saying that priority payment is a waste of time because of few persons you know that got quicker decisions with standard application is not a good conclusion. No persons application is the same even if you are twins!

I did my biometrics on the 18th of July, application was recieved by DMC same day, got a NSF email, I did my interview on the 1st of August and a decision has not still been made on my application even though I paid for a priority visa. I did my bio on the 14th of July 2023 with my dependant,got an empty nsf mail on the 17th July 2023,Got a mail for student interview on the 1st of August 2023.Up till now I have not gotten any mail for collection or mail for approval, anyone with similar issue.I have tracked still with DMC. 9th August I got another empty nsf mail.
