YeyeGbami:
This kain politician has no shame, what do you expect from PDP old thieves.

You want government to keep subsidizing the petrol and USD at this age? After all the 16 years of waste una still get mouth dey talk rubbish.

Subsidy on electricity should be removed, so we can face the true reality.

Mod :- As for the ignoramus wey dey mention me, i know Tinubu is the reason why most of you can’t use your brain. That hunger na him go finish una, continue waiting for subsidy. Mfkers coming to here say rubbish.
It is really surprising to hear people say things like this. Which country is Nigeria dreaming to be like or simply put, which system of government are we practicing? I would say we are copying the system used in America.
Do you know that in America:
food is subsidized
healthcare is subsidized
petrol is subsidized
housing are subsidized?
Why are these done? It is because it is the only way the common citizens benefit from government.
If you remove all the subsidies, how does the common man who doesn't have a job in government, is not receiving minimum wage or cannot even work, benefit.
Is the government for only those that can afford it?

PoliticsRe: What CSU Documents Really Say About Tinubu' Studentship, Age, Gender - FIJ by collinspro(m): 3:40pm On Oct 03, 2023
Meaning we have a president who is a forger and impersonator.
The law is very clear on forgery by political office holders.
I'm not surprised though, he once claimed to have attended a college in Ibadan and a primary school that is non existent. He quickly retraced his steps when he was busted.
How do we talk with our contemporaries in other countries without being ashamed.
The worst of all is that the economy under his leadership in the last 4 months has not shown any sign of improvement.
We are doomed left, right and centre.

And after seeing what will you dohuh Tinubu is your President for the next 8years. You guys should keep chasing shadows like u did with Buhari.
How do we move forward as a country if we keep having people like this.
For your information, dollar is now 1005 naira. Tinubu sold APC to us or are you happy that able bodied Nigerians are migrating to other countries where things work.
Do you like your country as it is now? Remember, APC took over when dollar was 204 naira and a bag of rice was 7500.
You should be ashamed for supporting evil.
PoliticsTinubu CSU Certificate Saga And Nigeria's Value System by collinspro(op): 4:34pm On Sep 29, 2023
No matter how one tries not to bother at the certificate issue involving President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Chicago State University (CSU), the institution he claimed to have attended for a degree, the matter keeps popping up. Like the mythical incubus, the bad dream which hardly dies, it keeps coming and does not let go. In a way, it has become a sore on the thumb, which only Tinubu can cure.

In our days in the rested The Post Express newspapers, a hardworking colleague was about being made the daily editor, when, overnight, his rival contemporaries connived with corrupt minds in the administration department and all his academic records were removed from his file, leaving only the West African School Certificate. The smart Aleks had their way and rumours were injected into the organisation that he was not adequately educated for the position.

He was denied the appointment, temporarily. But he did not bring down the house. All he did was to forward a new set of credentials, indicating that he graduated from Yaba College of Technology and dared anyone with contrary views to prove him wrong. He eventually became the editor of the paper. Today, he is managing director of a leading newspaper organisation.

In 2011, when opponents raised allegations that the then United States’ President, Barack Obama, was not born in the country, the White House simply released copies of his original birth certificate to put an end to persistent rumours.

The certificate stated that the President was born at Honolulu’s Kapiolani Hospital on August 4, 1961. That put paid to insinuations that Obama was born overseas, possibly in his father’s home country of Kenya, and could be constitutionally ineligible to serve as President.

Obama even addressed the issue. “We do not have time for this kind of silliness…“Normally I would not comment on something like this. But the country has some enormous challenges out there that it will not be able to effectively meet if we’re distracted,” he said.

Down here under the military, at a time when retired General Mohammed Buba Marwa was the administrator of Lagos State, there were allegations of certain species of killer beans in the markets. The rumour scared people from purchasing beans and patronizing bean cake (Akara) sellers for fear of their lives. The governor simply doused the tension by stopping by to buy and eat Akara balls on the roadside. The matter ended instantly.

In advertising and public relations, the maxim is “if you have it, flaunt it”. If tomorrow it becomes necessary for me to prove the authenticity of my academic records, all I need to do to clear the air is to encourage and even pay for the schools I attended – Holy Trinity Practising School, Orlu, Bishop Shanahan College (BSC), Orlu, Alvan Ikoku College of Education, Owerri, University of Nigeria, University of Jos, Nigeria Institute of Journalism (NIJ), Lagos State University, to release the certificates and dates for public view. That makes for transparency and conviction.

This is the least Nigerians expected from Tinubu. Being a President deprives him of all claims of privacy in his previous engagements. It is not in his interest blocking the Chicago State University from telling Nigerians who he was and how he entered the institution. The day he was sworn in was the moment he assumed the character of a glass house in a market square which all see through. There is, therefore, an extent he can run but certainly cannot hide.

The CSU certificate issue poses a huge burden to the President. How far he goes in handling it will go a long way in determining his estimation in the court of public opinion. The challenge is not one that can be wished away or suppressed by renting a battalion of senior lawyers and experts in jurisprudence. It is rather a matter of evidence, the type that is explained in normal street lingo as “seeing is believing.”

Tinubu owes Nigerians a lot in coming clean on his person and credentials. A major attribute of electoral democracy is its culture of transparency. The moment that significant factor is lost or buried in the debris of manipulations or legal technicalities, it is no longer democracy. By extension, the essence of the title “His Excellency” is lost. There cannot be excellency in one riding on a dented mandate or flying on the wings of padded credentials.

The dangers in pretending that such anomalies do not exist are many. At a time when men and women of conscience are rising to speak against the tendency of some youth abandoning genuine means of livelihood and taking to cybercrime or other forms of criminality under the umbrella of “Yahoo-Yahoo Business”, sustaining the fight will be difficult with a President seating comfortably on breezy academic and other awful records. How then can the upcoming generation be advised to embrace hard work as the only pathway to success when they have a ready instance of shortcut to cite? It is this direct assault on the societal value system that should give any Nigerian much cause to worry, whether he supports the President or not.

So, it is not enough hushing out Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP) in the February election or blackmailing Atiku Abubakar, the flag-bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), from insisting on the matter. The US courts can even be made to give order restraining the Chicago State University from releasing the results. The President and his foot soldiers may see that as a victory, if it comes to that, but Nigerians know better and are certainly wiser. They can separate the grains from the chaff.

But for Tinubu, the CSU affair has become a scandal of sorts. It will continue to hang around him as a rope, drawing him back from any move at fighting against corruption and other forms of malfeasance in the public and private sectors all his days in office. It is a war he cannot win.

I don't really get it. Why would a first class graduate be spending millions of Naira to hide his academic records. He once granted interview years back, claiming his undergraduate result was so good that he was on the Dean's list and was also granted scholarship.

Please house help me on this. I ordered for a smart TV on konga in June. The TV was delivered promptly. After switching on the TV, I discovered the LED screen has broken. I immediately called the delivery guy and two days later, I was asked to return the TV to one of their outlets.
Ever since then, I have not received my refund (about 120k). It has been over a month now. The customer care keeps telling me they are investigating how the TV screen got broken. I'm getting impatient and worried because the money will go a long way to ease my burden.
I'm really confused and frustrated, I don't know what to do.
House, has anyone had this experience? What do I do to get my money back?

PoliticsTenants Chasing Landlord Out Of His Land by collinspro(op): 10:15am On Mar 08, 2023
The popular narrative that Lagos is a Yoruba land is geographically true and as such dominated by the yorubas. If we really go back to history, the original Lagos was formed by the Benin.
The current narrative that Gbadebo Rhode-Vivor is not a proper Lagosian just because his mum is ibo is shocking. The funny part of the whole thing is that those saying this are not true Lagosian. In fact, Tinubu and the current governor, Sanwo Olu are not true lagosians yet they are cheif stakeholders in Lagos.
Ironically, Gbadebo Rhode-Vivor, whom his family has been known in Lagos as aboriginals from Lagos Island, the true omo Eko for over 400 years, is being called a foreigner.
This is just because he is contesting under another party, LP which they consider an eastern party and a major opposition.
For crying out loud, we are all Nigerians, we want the best for Lagos and Nigeria.
Let us say no to political intimidation
Let us say no to thuggery
Let us say no to tribalism
Let us make Lagos better for all of us.
PoliticsINEC Wants To Reconfigure BVAS by collinspro(op): 3:52pm On Mar 07, 2023
INEC wants to reconfigure BVAS a few days after court granted LP and PDP permission to inspect the election materials and the IREV.
I am having a feeling that INEC may have something to hide. I may be wrong though.
INEC has even come out to say that they announced Doguwa the winner of the senate/rep election under duress. I'm not too sure the party Doguwa belong to but I suspect something is brewing.
What do you think?
PoliticsWould The Inec Chairman Still Have His Job by collinspro(op): 11:08am On Mar 03, 2023
The federal government spent several billions to procure the BVAS and even ammended the electoral act to accomodate it. On several occasions, the INEC Chairman, Mahmud, gave a press conference on the need to use the BVAS in this election and abhor the manual collation used in the past.
We all know what happened eventually.
If Mahmud, the INEC Chairman, was a manager of a reputable company and this scenario played out in the company under his control, would he be fired?

Firstly, staphylococcus does not cause the disease you mentioned. It is a marketing gimmick used by uneducated and unqualified herbal or native doctors to sell their products.
The disease you described is most likely a veneral disease( STD). You need to go for VDRL test in a hospital or lab to ascertain which of the STDs, then get quality medical treatment before it get worse.
BusinessRe: Access Bank Stamp Duty, How Much Was Deducted In Your Account? by collinspro(m): 9:58am On Jun 28, 2020
It is crazy. Mine was 1500 naira. Stamp duty should be 50 naira for every 10k and above received. For every such sum I received on the past months, 50 naira was always deducted. I still don't know why the lump sum (1500) was deducted from my account. Something is fishy, it is outright daylight robbery from Access bank.
