JeffreyJamez: Lol azzin ehn..... the only issue I was having was that memory ish, and I backed up my MC files and formatted my MC to internal memory and voila!... problem solved!.... other than that I'm good!..... The lag they're complaining about when phone is locked his what android 6.0 calls COMA to save battery. WHEN the phone is idle for a long time, it goes into COMA and takes a few seconds to come on.It kinda makes the battery last longer... and to be honest my battery is lasting even more than when I was on lollipop, so me I dunno Tue britinish all this people are talking about. so mm goes into coma when sleeping. apart from internal memory as default no other thing to complain about. |

Oxytocin: Lolz.....This thread is getting more interesting. I Have not still found a good reason to complain about marshmallow. Mine Is working perfectly well. You guyz are not, or didn't play your cards right. I also think the manual update is better than the normal OTA update. no no no, ota update is better. am going to flash stock lollipop back and update it till i get mm ota update |

SanMinato: Lol this is funny. Most of the stuff you mentioned there are stuff you can just go on playstore and download. I mean. Gallery, file manager, sound recorder? Are you serious? And what's the difference between sound recorder and voice recorder? App permission management? Seriously? That's fully supported in the Android one rom. Efficient battery management? This is really funny. You really can't compare the Original Android One rom to that thing infinix released. The Original lollipop rom is fluid, it's sleek, it's beautiful, has this feel of quality about it. The infinix XUI just makes it feel like one of those other China phones. With the bold 3G icons covering the status bar. The navigation panel is ugly too. It's a real mystery how some of you love that rom. I don't understand it. I flashed it to my phone and it didn't even stay 30mins and I ported back to the Android One rom. You say font changer, who needs font changer? I really think all those unnecessary tweaks are childish and are for amateurs. Besides if you really want to change your font then root your phone by installing trwp and flashing the su zip file. It's pretty simple. But I ain't gonna root my phone. I don't have much reasons to anymore. Besides I need the Ota updates.
But hey one man's food is another's poison. Variety is the spice of life. Yet I still can't get how anybody will prefer that XUI ROM to the original android one rom. Hell, you can't even update the xui rom. It's such a waste of time. android stock rom is always the best especially android one rom. |

aotlatitude: Hi! I can't connect mine to a PC, how do I go about it? Phones › Re: The Flaws Of Android Marshmallow 6.0 by Collinz2(m): 9:42am On Jan 25, 2016 |
Akby: The excitement that lights up after the availability of the update could only last for a moment as heap of lamentations could be heard from every lips. Flaws they call it - Marshmallow came with tons of these headache. Dang! First, you can't access any of your previous files. Yes you heard me oops! Memoy is allocated to these files, but you can't see them either. Like you lost all your music, pictures, videos etc. Google should rectify this ASAP
Second, USB connection to PC is not working. Even after going through the rigour of 'Developer Option' just to turn on Media Transfer Protocol (MTP), PC still can't recognise the device. Ouch!
Third, backed up contacts on Google account only displays number and not name after making a call. Let me throw more light on this, all contacts saved are intact with names no doubt but the call history only reads the number without names after placing call.
Also, there is a slow response when the phone is unlocked like 3-4 secs. This bug needs to be fixed soon.
Further, GLO IMEI changers lol this is for 'us'. Marshmallow disabled the option to change your IMEI even with MTK Engineering. Bad market indeed!!! But we that we've changed ours, it works perfectly.
In summary, so many things still need adjustment. I foresee an update before February ending. That not withstanding, the OS came with loads of new features my sis infinix hot 2 was updated to marshmallow and i can connect it to pc with no problem. secondly u need to format ur sdcard as internal memory to access your files. |
