This is sad news, may the dead rest in peace and hope the perpetrators are caught and face the law.

This a reminder to fellow Nigerians that we have to ensure we do not turn into a banana republic and a failed state.

Another 4 years of Jogogoro will result in the balkanization of Nigeria.

Thankfully, Nigerians are now wiser and smarter.

Change is coming to Nigeria in less than 24 hours.

Every negative step taken by the PDP has been truncated by providence and by the law courts.

This is a signal to Nigerians that the election of General Buhari tomorrow is a grand design by God to liberate Nigerians from the clutches of this outgoing government headed by Jonathan.

-They tried to postpone elections indefinitely- they failed

-They tried to sack Prof. Jega- they failed

-They tried to disqualify Buhari- they failed

-They tried to assassinate top APC leaders- they failed

- They tried to incite Nigerians by sponsoring false propaganda documentaries of Buhari/Tinubu- they failed

- They tried to stop the use of Card Reader- they failed

Like Jonathan failed Nigerians in the last 6 years, we will send him out of government tomorrow.

It is getting clear that elements in the GEJ administration benefited from the terror unleashed on Nigerians in the North

When the President was informed about the situation in Gwoza- what was is response? Where is Gwoza sef- That is an illustration of how useless, divisive, incompetent and ridiculous Jonathan is.

He allowed terrorism to fester in the country for selfish reasons and he also used the situation to enrich his associates.

All of a sudden-24 hours to an important election, they are reclaiming territories abandoned for 6 years. Yeye dey smell

PoliticsRe: Buhari's Manifesto Vs Jonathan's Manifesto by Collynzo419:
It is not just the quality of manifestos that is important but it is how those plans are actualized.

-Jonathan

GEJ had a laudable manifesto in 2011 - he promised to create jobs and end youth employment, he promised Nigerians stable electric supply, security and the reduction in corrupt practices. What did he deliver to Nigerians? The exact opposite, youth employment has doubled, electric supply is worse off, Nigeria became a haven for terrorists under his administration.

He is an incompetent, corrupt, non-performing and divisive leader. His defeat tomorrow will come as a great news to the majority of Nigerians

Good riddance to bad rubbish

-Buhari

The APC has clearly outlined a well thought out and practical set of ideas to transit Nigeria from the current shambolic state to the level in which we all desire. It is clear that security and corrupt are the utmost challenges and no other leader in the history of modern Nigeria has the qualities to stem this challenges- General Buhari is the man to bring peace back to Nigeria, curtail corruption and lay a foundation for the actualisation of the Dream Nigeria we all desire.

Nigerians are solidly behind Buhari and expect him to hit the ground running when he wins tomorrow.

General Buhari will win Lagos convincingly.

If you dont believe me,

- Prior to 2015, GEJ visited Lagos only 10 times between 2011-2014. Between January-March 2015, He has visited Lagos more than 20 times

- He has never bothered to meet with traditional rulers in Lagos apart from Oba of Lagos but now he has met with every Baale, Market women leader, Youth leader, Motorpark leader, Landlord association leaders, Butchers Association leader, Babalawo association etc

Lagosians are 70% Pro-APC and no matter the level of dollarization will let them vote for an incompetent, clueless and corrupt man like Jonathan.

Interesting

The town will be liberated a day before Elections.
PoliticsJonathan Says Gwoza To Be Liberated Friday by Collynzo419(op): 10:49pm On Mar 26, 2015
President Goodluck Jonathan has assured that Gwoza in Borno, the last town under Boko Haram terrorists, would be liberated by Friday.
Mr. Jonathan, who gave this assurance when he received four International Election Monitoring Groups on Wednesday, said already the Nigeria soldiers had successfully liberated Adamawa and Yobe from the menace of insurgency.
He said that the liberation of the areas held by the Boko Haram terrorist would pave way for the successful conduct of general elections in all states of the federation.
According to him, the military command has also assured him that Gwoza will not only be recaptured, but Sambisa forest in Borno will be Boko Haram-free in the next weeks.
President Jonathan said already soldiers had intensified efforts to drive away the terrorists from the forest.
“But we cleaned up Adamawa completely, we cleaned up Yobe completely and even Borno state, before the election, election is two days away.
“But, before the elections you will see that only one little area, the Sambisa forest in Borno state only will be in the hands of Boko Haram because we believe by tomorrow latest Friday, we will be able to take over Gwoza.
“If we take over Gwoza it will not take us more than one week to clean up the whole remaining part.
“For now they are not in the position to come out and disrupt elections.
“We are very hopeful that when we conduct elections on March 28, elections will be conducted across the country.’’
The president reassured that the coming elections would not generate the type of violence that followed the 2011 elections.
He said, “first and foremost let me reassure the international community and indeed Nigerians that elections will be conducted as rescheduled by INEC. On Saturday we will have the presidential elections and National Assembly elections and then the April 11 of next month we will have the governorship and state assembly’s elections.
He, therefore, pledged to ensure the conduct of free, fair and credible elections under peaceful atmosphere.
In their remarks, the international observers stressed the need for free, fair and peaceful conduct of the March 28 and April 11 general elections.
The observers were from the African Union Group led by Dr. Amos Sawyer, the Commonwealth Group led by Dr. Bakili Muluzi, the European Union led by Anna Roberts and the Republican Institute.(NAN)

PoliticsGunmen Fire At Governor Amaechi’s Convoy by Collynzo419(op): 9:53pm On Mar 26, 2015
Armed attackers have opened fire on the convoy of Governor Chibuike Amaechi of Rivers State in Port Harcourt, the state capital.
At least two people were injured in the attack which occurred Thursday evening, a witness said.
The Police spokesperson for Rivers State, Muhammad Ahmad, could not be immediately reached. He did not answer or return calls.
The governor’s spokesperson, David Iyofor, said “thugs” shot at the governor in Rumuolumeni, Obio Akpor, area of Port Harcourt.
Obio Akpor is the home of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate, Nyesom Wike.
Mr. Wike is locked in a long-drawn feud with the governor over the choice of Mr. Amaechi’s successor.
The governor was in Obio Akpor to campaign for the candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, his office said, blaming the attack on the opposition PDP.
PREMIUM TIMES could not confirm that claim.
Mr. Iyofor said the governor and his entourage were first attacked with bottles, stones and other objects before gunshots rang out, leaving two supporters of the governor injured.
More shots were fired as the governor was leaving, he said.

I have been an astute follower of politics threads and i notice how some individuals have been so obstinately opienated about their preferred presidential candidate!

From some couple of months back, there is hardly no topic in the section that these set of people will not respond to, few in a very countered persuasive manner.

My question, what will happen to these die-hard monickers after election if their preferred-candidate fails to win?

PoliticsRe: President Jonathan Writes Letter To Key Northern Citizens (read) by Collynzo419: 7:15pm On Mar 26, 2015
After Jonathan willfully neglected Northerners for 6 years, he is now writing a stupid letter to them 48 hours to election. What an Insult!

In the last 4 years , over 20,000 Nigerians in the North have lost their lives. Millions have been displaced and properties worth billions of Nigeria lost. GEJ and his wicked administration ignored these people forgetting that the day of reckoning was fast approaching.

For the first time since the civil war, we have Nigerians becoming refugees and internally displaced. His humongous wife- Shepopo had the guts to insult Northerners in several rallies in the SS, now this outgoing, non-performing, corrupt, drunkard of a president is writing an epistle to Hausas/Fulanis?

That letter will be rightly thrown in the dustbin just like Nigerians will kick out Jonathan and put him in the dustbin of history come March 28

The Department of State Services has advised voters in Saturday’s election to be wary of persons who dress in “loose or bulky midriff clothing”.
This advice is contained in a statement signed by Marilyn Ogar, the DSS spokesperson, in Abuja on Wednesday.
The DSS also advised them to look out for “unattended bags, luggage, dustbins, strange containers and other suspicious items.
“Equally, they should remain vigilant in crowded environments before, during and after the elections and abide by all stipulated guidelines emplaced to ensure peaceful conduct.

Similarly, all vehicles, motorcycles, tricycles and bicycles must be parked far away from the polling stations.
“All forms of trading should be discouraged, suspicious persons, activities and movements should be promptly reported to security agents,” the DSS stated.
It called on registered voters to go out and exercise their civic responsibility as their security was guaranteed, but urged them to be law abiding and security conscious.
“Once again, we restate our commitment to ensuring a peaceful atmosphere for all Nigerians to contribute toward strengthening our democracy,” the statement stated.

PoliticsRe: Igbo President Will Help Heal Civil War Wounds – Gowon by Collynzo419:
To be the President, you have to be popular across all divides of the Nigerian society.

A president is not elected just by emotional and sentimental reasons. My Igbo people need to think well and move on from past. They cannot just hate Northerners and expect to be President of Nigeria.

To be the President of Nigeria, you must have the support of the North and the South. If every Northerner votes against you and every Southerner votes for you- you still loose the election.

I see people like Dr Ngige and Okorocha as candidates for Igbo Presidents in the near future. Let us accept the truth, the region holding Nigeria together is the SW, they have alliances with every other region in Nigeria and their influence is just unbelievable. Jonathan practically lives in the SW now just because of Yoruba votes.

After Buhari wins this weekend, Igbos should sit down and decide what they want. They should learn to build alliances and be more Nigerian than phanthom Biafrans- it wont happen.
