PoliticsLagos APGA To Adopt Ambode As Governorship Candidate by Collynzo419(op): 8:19pm On Mar 10, 2015
The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in Lagos State on Tuesday said it has commenced negotiations aimed at adopting the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Akinwumi Ambode.

The State Chairman of APGA, Campbell Umeh-Nzekwe, said in Lagos that the move was due to the withdrawal of APGA gubernatorial candidate from the forthcoming general elections.

“We have met and discussed with APC but it has not come to final reality. We hope that we will soon agree.
“At the moment, we have not agreed on the conditions and they have not met our requirements but we are disposed towards them.

“If they accept, we will go on air to say Ambode is our candidate and we will ask all our members to support him and when he wins, we will come back to the table to discuss beneficial interest,” Mr. Umeh-Nzekwe said.
He assured that APGA would work for any candidate it adopted.

Mr. Umeh-Nzekwe also said that at the national level, the party had adopted President Goodluck Jonathan as its presidential candidate.

Nigeria’s presidential election is scheduled for March 28 while the governorship election is billed for April 11.

Rubbish post
Your conscience should tell you the answer.

Nigerians are tired of BH and we dont want ISIS in the equation

We need change in our strategy and Jonathan cannot do that for us.

We don't give a damn, provided their activities remain in NE, they can even join anything they deem fit.
This is a wrong interpretation of the impact of this announcement.

If Nigeria has a weak leader that only takes security issues seriously because of an election, with time, the security risk will get to you sooner than later.

Nigeria will overcome BH. I am very sure.

We will not cower to the demand of terrorists. We will be a great Nation.

What we need is strong leadership to make this country great. We need a strong military and not Chadians to sort out our security issues

GEJ has failed us- we need change urgently!
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Joins ISIS by Collynzo419:
This is troubling news and Nigerians need to understand that the BH issue can no longer be treated with kids gloves.

This new relationship with ISIS is strategic because it will encourage and increase the use of foreign fighters, making the fight against BH more difficult.

What Nigeria needs now is a leader that can put political considerations aside and fight this menace head on, utilizing our military resources efficiently to curtail BH.

We need change in this country before things get out of hand.

Nonsense!

He has itinerary that is being strictly followed. The 1 Million March in Lagos was organised by Lagos APC and not the National Council of APC.

Lagos is Buhari territory! The Lagos March was just to reinforce that point to people like you. Even in the absence of Major APC leaders, Lagosians trooped out in their millions.

He was unavoidably absent as Shagari's 90th Birthday last month and he arranged this meeting prior to his departure from the UK.

Nigerians are so dumb really...I dont know if its poverty or the lack of eating good food while growing up that degenerated their brains or frustration due to poverty. they read useless meanings to everything and anything. Psquare have been very non active about politics going on unlike other people. this picture could have meant something else and it was read a different way.
BullShit!

That tweet is very insensitive whether he was referring to Buhari or Not. Paul has to understand that he has a huge following and he should ensure that he sets the right examples for his young fans.

Not every one named Mohammed is a potential suicide bomber. Terrorists are not religious people but sociopaths who have a distorted view of life.
