An0nimus: God bless you for this post. I'm 80% for teaching. There's no greater reward than impacting in a man and see him become something in life. This is a chance to do that for me cos I don't intend taking teaching as a full term career. God bless us all and God bless Nigeria.

I don't want teaching oo, my mind deh multinational coyz, but if i see myself in a classroom, then i'm gonna make it worth everyone's time.. So help me God

Give back some knowledge to kids that need it, Nigeria doesn't appreciate you but they students will. And in some cases, the gifts(foods, fruits, cards, cash, etc) yu'll be giving during ur stay will make ur life much more comfortable + the fulfilment.. kai,
Some of my friends dat didn't like the teaching idea are currently saying it's one of the best feeling they've got knowing they are valued...

Well teaching isn't such an appalling idea for me..Especially cos I'll only end up teaching french or german to kids who dnt have d slightest idea, or @ mst,hav meagre knowledge of wot I'm saying...however,If I end up having an "over sabi" smart mouth (Lord knows I used to be one in my days ) in ma class, I'll bat my lashes and flutter my way out of it..

At the end of yur stay, organize online toasting contesta and the winners go with the phones... The students and the principal will "never" forget yu.

Truth is you can't keep giving them assignment forever...but they would keep asking you questions.

It would be wise to answer the ones you can to their understanding, and the rest which you feel you have very little knowledge of, tell them to be patient that when you get to that area in the subject, they would understand it much better.

students can be naughty at times, if you keep throwing every questing they ask you back at them as assignment, they might turn you into a laughing stock...

Some Skuls don't have teachers for some subjects.. Infact, if na private skul dey'll make sure they "use" yu.

jamebex: Fellow Metabolite, nice to meet you here. Enugu is my state of origin. It is actually a nice and peaceful place to serve but am not sure much opportunities abound in Enugu for BCH GRADS. BTW what is your state of origin and what UNI did you grad from.

POC, Enugu is ok for BCH with pharmacies like JUHEL and NEMEL, Anywhr pharmacies beaucoup is ok... Anambra (JUHEL-Awka), Enugu (JUHEL n NEMEL- Enugu) Lagos (EMZOR), PH, etc. But yu need muscles to enta dez places.

I seem to have missed out on so much, well maybe i will just have to do some catching up. The trend seem to be on preferential place to serve. To be candid, i have never had a preference but seeing some peeps saying "the best place for my course" has suddenly awaken a great sense of awareness in me. Peeps please which state do you think is the best for a Biochemistry Grad.
