either u have not activated a valid data plan or u r using a wrong APN (Access Point Name)

Use ifaith. Works all the time and it made just for that but you have to you snowbreeze to create custom firmware.

Rhukie, check if there's on app called Cydia on your iPhone, if yes, then it's jailbroken. You can upgrade if you don't need to jailbreak provided your iPhone is factory unlocked.

Glo.. APN: gloflat user/pass: flat..

I use these APNs succesfully, so what's missing? I also have 198mb of always micro remaining dat'll expire 16th on glo and I Đ☺ have active bundle on mtn too..

hi pls can anyone help me for my 3GS? Am on ios 4.1 and if i shud update to ios6.1 i will need to factory unlock it for 17k and how much is the phone that am going to unlock it with that hug price. Good, you can upgrade to iOS 5.0.1. You need iOS5.0.1 firmware, TinyUmbrella and iFaith to achieve that.

So google and download TinyUmbrella, iFaith and iPhone 3Gs 5.0.1 firmware.

the truth is that i dont know the network that is locked on and i ask at computer villa for the official unlock and the guy told me 17k i just weak that day if not i for don do official unlock

I just got 3 units of Iphone 4 that are supposed to be unlocked. They were apparently used on AT&T in the US. When I insert an MTN sim into them it comes up with the Invalid SIM error message. I checked the status of the phones on the IMEI.info site and they are all unlocked though with the message that says they need to be connected to Itunes.

Could the phones still be locked to AT&T or what could be the problem? They are all using OS 6.0.1 with firmware 04.12.02

2BdBest, the iPhones are actually unlocked. I just checked. When they say connect to iTunes, they mean you should put the iPhone in "activation mode" then connect to iTunes to activate.

Do the following to put your iPhones in activation mode.

Note: Don't do this if your iPhone is already jailbroken.

Backup the iPhones, Go to Settings, General, Reset, choose "Erase All contents and settings" then click "Erase iPhone". The iPhone will reboot and end up in "activation mode". Put in your local sim, connect to iTunes to activate. That's all.

I don't think they are jailbroken then. Just follow the instruction above to activate the iPhones.

You have to be sure the sim has been activated for browsing or the Internet settings sent to your phone
