RomanceRe: 10 Reasons Women Like Bad Guys.. by Colonel27: 10:20am On Jun 14, 2015
Bad boy refers to that guy that has at least one of this xteristics: brilliance, rich, good looks. He is an ALPHA male. He does not see ladies as a special being (doesnt take shit from girls) though he has a way of making thrm special when they are around, flirty, he is loyal to just one person (which is himself), quite insensitive, fun to be around, etc

PoliticsRe: Issue About Dressing, President Jonathan & Rest Of President by Colonel27: 7:05pm On Mar 04, 2015
It is obvious the OP is not intelligent. The pix is about how some african leaders show extremely bossy attitude. Instead of GEJ to carry his bags; he was carrying a waking stick unlike his colleague in other saner country who does not see anything in carrying their bags themself.
PoliticsWhy Should I Vote For Jonathan by Colonel27(op): 9:49pm On Jan 21, 2015
It is so funny how Nigerians especially some youth see GMB ( a formal general in the Nigerian Army) as an illiterate.
So amazing how people reason. If an so-called illiterate did not finish secondary school and still raise to the top of his career, it shows he is extremely smart and that is the kind of person we need at the helm of affairs.
If GEJ with all his PHD decides to join the army today, he will be place at a rank far far lower than a General; in other words, GEJ is less successful as compare to GMB.
So funny how people reasons, some the greatest people in the world never went to the universities at all or are drop out such as Bill Gate, Mark Zuckerburg or our own Dangote. Yet they are very successful even more than the educated one.

I believe what we ought to be talking about is how to move the nation forward and not dwelling on some useless issues. The truth is that our so-called PHD holder president has failed us. He cannot campaign about what he has achieved in the last 6years instead he is telling us why we should not vote for Buhari.

The Question is "WHY SHOULD WE VOTE FOR JONATHAN?". Buhari has told us what he will do, cant PDP tell us what they have done and what they will do??

Until PDP can convince me otherwise, I say FEBUHARI.
Christianity EtcRe: Must A Christian Speak In Tongue Before He Could Make Heaven? by Colonel27: 2:22pm On Nov 30, 2014
Regarding speaking in tongues, the Bible never tells us that we must speak in tongues. A good passage is 1 Cor 12:27-31:

“27 Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. 28 And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, also those having gifts of healing, those able to help others, those with gifts of administration, and those speaking in different kinds of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? 30 Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues[a]? Do all interpret? 31 But eagerly desire the greater gifts”.

The obvious answer to his rhetorical question (in bold) “No, of course they don’t!”. This idea is picked up earlier in 1 Cor 12:7-11, where different gifts are given to different people as the Spirit determines. This is a really clear answer from the Bible (yay!), the Bible doesn’t tell us that we must speak in tongues.

Which brings us to the second part of your question about whether Christians who speak in tongues are some how superior to those who don’t, or whether we’re missing something. Back in the first passage the last verse says that we are to “eagerly desire the greater gifts” (V31). But V28 tells us that they are more like the gifts of apostleship (which you and I aren’t!), prophecy, teaching etc… In fact, tongues are last on the list! The gift of administration is even above tongues in this ordered list. Sometimes it’s easy to over-emphasise tongues because they look impressive, when really God values other things more highly.

Don’t get me wrong, tongues are still a gift from God and still good, but the exact problem the Christians in Corinth had was that they played a game of one-up-manship based on who had the better gift, and who followed the ‘better’ Apostle - and that’s why Paul hammers them in 3:1 as “mere infants in Christ”. Don’t let whether you speak in tongues or not shake your confidence in Christ!
