hamilton62: [s]What do you mean by A LOT? Because, your a lot might be my poo money[/s]... Just do it according to the size of your pocket because the future still has a lot for you and your partner... [s]If you think that the cost of traditional marriage is high in Igbo land then try marrying a Kalabari girl in Rivers state, then you will know that the igbos are learners, only the boxes of expensive judges and wrappers with Nklari (royal beads) will exhaust the amount for welding in Igboland... The problem is that you dudes complain of our girls but leave then no way, you insist that you'll marry an igbo girl contrary to the advice of your parents. Nwa afor igbo nwere agwa ( a True igbo lady has morales)... I mean TRUE not the ones with camouflage to be... So I mean a well groomed igbo girl! Igbo wu Igbo, ekelem! agabaI23: Why is it impossible to upload the whole register into all the card readers? Is it rocket science? Increasing the memory would have taken care of that. JEGA knew that but they want disenfranchise some People You don't get it. No register is uploaded on the card reader. It is only configured to give access to a particular card's dedicated unit. Take for instance the cards used in unlocking doors to hotel room. Is it appropriate for the card of room 101 to open room 105? |

This system will be offline so no outside interference.
Just straight input/output I've designed a barcode scanner/reader before The delay isn't in reading it's magnetic chip, it's in verifying one's fingerprint. Ever played with this device? All those saying 30secs will change their mouth on d-day |

phillip4re: stop concluding like that....did you watch it live?i did and very sure that accreditation per person will not last more than 30secs Stop lying....fingerprint verification is the delay. A genuine user's fingerprint verification could fail. From the queue to passing your card to the APO to entering the accreditation menu to verifying the PVC to authenticating fingerprint can never happen under 1min when we are not robots. |

Originalsly: Hmmm....so alternative treatment have been ruled out mainly because it is hard to go against the four doctors.Fine. If we are forging ahead with this 18 week chemo plan....what is the EXPECTED outcome?....and what is this based on?....hope?....theory?...and have they tried this before on other patients with stage 4 or even stage 3 cancer? what were the results and how are they now?.....or is this just an 18 week pain relief treatment? ...referred to as "quality of life?" Shouldn't we know these answers before going down the chemo road? I'm hoping the doctors be asked these questions and be pressed for pointed answers. We can't be passive again. LUTH already put wool over our eyes for a month and pulled almost a million out of our pockets before we faced reality. I am surprised that LUTH is again considered to be/in the mix. This is by no means intended to be an attack nor an insult to TeHN but an effort to make sure we leave no stone unturned before moving forward. Originalsly: I am still tryinv to find out about this full treatment. What should be his situation at the end of the full treatment? Is it 18 weeks of being pain free and then .....is it after the full treatment he would be cancer free?......cancer driven back to stage one?...and have they successfully done this before? Can I have an answer?...please? Originalsly: @OAM4J....I'm asking yet again....what is the EXPECTED outome at the end of the 18 seek full treatment?....he would be cancer free?...cancer beaten back to stage 1?......or jhst 18 weeks of no pain for DJ and then....? Is it too much to ask what we should expect to find at the end of this road? Jaybee3, r231, pickabeau1, OAM4J |

VisionPlus: @op, it doesn't cost you anything to contact the seller first to find out why he wants to sell it and what's wrong with the car.
Then take an expert, preferably a mechanic that can slip under the car to check any faults and advise you accordingly. Don't forget to test drive the car.
Don't let anyone discourage you here. I have sold stuffs severally on OLX and people have bought from me. AutosBay: @ VisionPlus I totally agree with you. Are you guys for real 100,000 naira for Toyota Siena....as in One Hundred Thousand Naira Only. Only scammers advertise and support such. |

sunnshyn: Well, I think paying the hospital fees for chemo and handing over the rest to DJ's family makes sense at this point. Some people's initial fear was that they(DJ's family) may not go the hospital way. However, If TeHN pays the bills, then his family will just need to coordinate his going and returning for treatment. Makes sense to me.. Pay what bills? How does it make sense? If the family request for 1million to carry out operation "a", tehn pays the bill right? Tomorrow they ask for 30k, tehn pays right? Next week they ask for 5naira, then tehn says no money in the purse again. So where is the sense here? |

pickabeau1: Nobody has written off anyone
We spent the last few days identifying a treatment plan which we have tabled to the house
We are saying however we cannot continue on this case
The options are to A Handover the monies less chemo (which will be paid to d hospital) to his family They will handle the logistics and ensuring he is available
B. A new team is set up to handle it This team will be given all d funds Stop giving conditions and simply handover to his family |

OAM4J: I mean the implications of stepping back from the case.
When you dont finish what you started irrespective of your reasons/excuses there is high possibility of being called a failure and other names... we are simply prepared to be called such names. Even before now, we have been called all sorts, accused of many things and our integrity questioned, we just have to accept them.
Thanks. How is it difficult for you guys to move on now? No one compelled you to handle this case. You showed interest. Now no interest, why hammer it over and over again that tehn is backing out. Stand on your ground and move on. You need not mince words |
