freshvine: On a sunny day, in the 80s a Peugeot 505 evolution car pulled at my Dad shop at Mission Road Igoli Ogoja. Few military escorts and this man walked into my father's shop and the rest is history save to say my dad made a sell of over 2000 naira supplying huge electrical items spanning weeks. It was nice knowing that was Col. Anthony Ukpo.
Each time a helicopter hovers around Igoli town, we all know it is usually him and we'll race to the bishop court to welcome him. Those days to disperse the crowds of children for his helicopter to land is another headache. His elder brother was Rev. Joseph Ukpo, the bishop of Ogoja Diocese.
Rest on Sir. Kele chu. |

[s] FreedomArmy: stop being a fool nwa ekwensu. Why must be it be the in Igbo land that federal government will build a bridge and put a toll on it. Why are they not tolling other bridges on the country. Why Igbo's people only? You are quick to mention Europe as if you have ever stepped out of arrewa land since you were born. [/s] Shatap. FreedomArmy: so your rail ticket=my bus transport fare is now the same as toll ticket that igbos will be subjected to pay for the second Niger bridge? You all think in a reverse gear Sharap. If you think the cost of a rail ticket doesn't factor in the cost of the infrastructure then you aren't the sharpest tool in the shed. |

Ammishaddai: The person who wrote this never lived in Lagos in 1999 . Because if he had, he would have known that Tinubu was solely responsible for bringing thugs and all sorts of miscreants into parts of Lagos. Especially that Oshodi axis . And if Ambode and Fashola didn't come to cleanup , wallahi Lagos would have been worse than Jigawa Lies. Thugs have always been part and parcel of Lagos state. To be clear, they can be found everywhere in Nigeria. |

KosiGee: Ayiri offered sardines to the queen of the coast Does that even make sense to you? Isn’t that like killing someone’s children and offering their remains as sacrifice to their parents!! If this sort of sacrifice or practice works, expect the queen of the coast to deal decisively with Ayiri. Most religions offer sacrifice at some point. Even the passover included such practice. |
