The AfDB guy got that position when Jonathan was still in power. It was really Jonathan and Ngozi Okonjo Iweala that schemed to ensure Adesina got that AfDB position. He just wanted to join the winning bandwagon, driven by GEJ and NOI

An Igbo man is the president of ICC, yet Buhari's fulani judge came last in an exams meant to recruit more junior judges into ICC. If not for nepotism, he could have nominated any Igbo justice, or indeed any other Nigerian, and they wouldn't have disgraced the country like the Fulani justice did.
