In Turkey for example, govt allocates specific days per Area for cheap food markets - direct from Farm to buyers. We used to have Sunday market in my area of Istanbul then. Very cheap items

When it is time for good governance; politicians will divide us across tribal and religious line but when it is time to eat the national cake, they are always united.

Budget padding, SUV, constituency projects etc are done in unison if not for the few aggrieved lawmakers who felt cheated we won't have known what's happening behind the scene.

I blame the Presidency for allowing these legislators to manipulate the budget and ask for allowances for constituency projects.

The concept of illegal constituency projects started in the time of Obasanjo and no president has had the guts to end it.

Why should any president be giving legislators money to execute federal projects whereas there's federal ministry of works? Legislators are elected to make laws, not to build projects.

Let the FX market stay untouched and if you can't use the naira to pay then push for activities that will yield more naira for you. Give loans to customer in Naira to carry out businesses and bring profit for you and themselves. Let that demand for Naira be there.
