The country needs state police urgently!

The Senate has also approved the bill, and it will now be forwarded to the 36 State Houses of Assembly for further legislative action as required by law.

The important thing now is to see the bill so as to know the framework the Federal hawks will be seeking for state police because a state police that is made subservient to the Federal police is no police at all. They must have equal rights and powers within their area of jurisdiction with total control by their governors

So, this is just another face saving public stunt by Peter Obi. He should go and refund the money he collected from NDC aspirants in the south east.
