We really need a good replacement for Ajayi, after this tourney. His passes are atrocious.
At d beginning of the tourney, I mentioned this as his weakness. Reason I called for inclusion of Igoh Ogbu. Ajayi is good against teams that apply low block. That way he will have time to screen his area before making a pass. But becomes a problem against teams with high press. Either he gives a wrong pass in dangerous area or he commits a foul. It has happened at least twice or more before the SA game.

Kelechi Iheanacho had one job in the whole tournament. He was saddled with the responsibility of leading the country into the final and he delivered.

On the verge of been knocked out, Kelechi Iheanacho stepped up and converted his kick.

What a moment!

Congratulations to all football loving Nigerians!

I never knew omeruo was good with penalties oooo

His pk was ice cold 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Already I knew the reason why he was coming in. Also check his long passes are most times spot on. And to the Omeruo is wasted and should not be in the team. It does reach when strong men should stand and be counted. The boy among them lost his liver. The reason u don't take only boys to competition. We have seen the importance of 'Dede' Ekong and Dede Omeruo and the Seniorman.

Yusuf is a DM/CM and DM's are trained to take short and accurate passes.

In this match, Iwobi was taking risky long passes instead of short passes..

And again once Aribo came on SE lost the midfield.
I thought I was the only one that noticed that. He couldn't show his presence one bit

Nobody is talking about how poor chukwueze was today
His decision making was just off chart. So poor. He has a problem with when to pass the ball and when to dribble or when to shoot at goal. I think his CNS needs some tweaking. His brain and his leg is not in tandem. Either brain was sending wrong signal or the legs were interpreting wrongly. He had opportunities of shooting at goal like 2wice.

That's what I have been trying to preach

I see a lot of infantile comments underestimating the South Africans

Regardless of what happened in the Group stages, getting to the Semis of the AFCON especially this AFCON is no joke

We have the upper hand but it will be dangerous to completely write them off

Do what you will concerning this opinion
See as everyone dey shiver for backwater league players.
If Magkopa, Mvala, Tau we're to be Nigerians, will they make the SE team Even the bench?? So what's all these fear for. If SA wins us with Sundowns players, it goes on to show that a league one plays in doesn't matter after all. No more no less. Man City & FC Zurich no dey the same level abeg.

Sorry to digress you see that it is not our fault to be so prayerful and always fulfil up the worship centre in nigeria. We only find hope and trust in God cos govt has failed us. Lol.

I have a dream bfr our first match against EG which was drew and I saw smooth runs afterwards I refused to believe it cos the boys were not playing well plus I don't rate JPe at all.

If I tell you the scoreline I saw between civ and Congo I was shocked I can't tell anybody 😆 self.. I still didn't believe it lol. I just want to watch the match and enjoy it.

If u see something, say something. Me only see SE leading before I woke up. But I been drink small sha. Maybe na d drink.

My bro. Let me borrow some phrase. PSL is a local backwater league. Some players are earning less than 2k per week. Burnley FC is supposed to trash this Sundowns FC team. So why are we panicking when we have players from top clubs. Why the fear. Does it mean that we don't have faith in the leagues our players are in?? With all the Pro's in CIV team, we were confident that we will win and we did. But SA?? 9 members from Sundowns?? Not even Egyptians, South Africa. I no understand again. We have won this match already.

It's simple and u can quote me anywhere. Nwabali' s case is like d proverbial drowning man that is holding on to straws. Wait until someone like Arthur Okonkwo declares. Then u go see them crawl out with their backwater league slogan. I come in peace.

Pound for pound, SE is better than Bafana.
If I must use many criteria to measure who is better.
1) Earnings. Our players earn more than them, so we are better.
2) Leagues. Ours are in top leagues so are better.
3) 5 of our players passed through the great British academies where they have mastered all the rudiments of football😂.
4) We have APOTY in our team.
5) Muscle. We are more muscular, except Alhassan who will be mashed and squeezed.
6) Finally evolution has left the shape of their head behind.
So there is no excuse for SE. Unless they want me to dump EPL and start watching PSL.

Hmmm this one is huge. Heard that their allowances have not been paid. And it's been stories up and down. I'm even having the feeling that it's audio money that was released. If not, why d hanky panky. And no one is saying anything. Even d one that sends prayers in mails was there to watch their match and everywhere is still quiet. Must everything be in auto reverse mode. Anyways pray tell that our all stars wins memolodi sundowns today. We may see a situation where we will play 9 men in the 3rd place match. For now, I can only sense that they are no longer playing for the badge, rather the gold medal. So if they miss d medal na Otilo.

Football is not as straightforward guy
Just hearing this for the first time. Ndubuisi Ndah is not good for SE. He is in backwater league. If he is good, he should be in AC Milan and the rest. But here we are fidgeting because of his mates. He is even better than some of them. Pls this is straight forward. If SE is better we should trash SA. Period. And make I no hear 11 men vs 11 men. It's top 5 league vs backwater league.

Pls for the umpteenth time. Is sundowns bigger than Fulham. Even the ones with the narratives that good players play in big clubs and earn fat salaries are fidgeting because of ordinary sundowns players. I bet, if a Nigerian player in SA was called up for this Afcon we for dey hear all manners of prejudice and nonsense. Don't tell me Nwabali because his case was because no borough GK has declared his intention. Pls ya all should rest. SE all stars from top 5 leagues will play against Memolodi Sundowns. Their league is rated nowhere in the world. And we have men from top 5 leagues. I just don't understand the fears. If SA win us then if I hear consistent top performance in top 5 leagues here again before call up to National team. It's better we loose to CIV or Senegal, even Congo than SA oh.

I just read that his write up and just smmmh. Already I know there are 3 players which he is always ready to write anything to denigrate them.
1) Kel Nwakali
2) Kel Iheanacho
3) Vic Osimhen.
Osimhen just shut him up finally with last season's performance. Now na corner side talk him dey use on him.
But you see the 2 Kels, sometimes it go remain to make him us razor cut himself on top their matter. So just jump and pass. He showed where Maresca said his own. You showed where Peseiro said his own. And in his small mind no coach will say that his player is not fit. But Maresca already said Nacho is not fit. Is Maresca a plumber?? But come to think of it. A coach can say things to keep his player back. Or that one no follow??

Speaking with a few SA fans, and they sound very confident of defeating the Super Eagles.

8 out of the first 11 in that SA team are starters at the number one club in SA, Mamelodi Sundowns., something similar to the Spanish side that won the world cup in 2010.

Anyway, make the eagles jus dey clinical with the few chances they may get, Defence no get problem, and we hardly play midfield game.

You mean Sundowns is better than Fulham?? Do you know that a player in Fulham can pay the salary of all Sundowns players. hian!!! Who throw me stone Anyways we have a date with destiny. In someone's voice, Best players always play in best clubs and also earn bigger salaries. So why should I fret unless PSL is better than Greece League. Premiership, Seria A, Ligue1, & Liga Portugal all combined.

And the 2 has the highest clean sheets in PSL. So their battle will be settled at the international stage.
At the moment, I think Williams have an edge. So SE needs to score him to push Nwabali to the top.
