Politics / Re: Again, CBN Raises Import Duty Rate By Another 4.4% In 24 Hours by comodo: 7:40pm On Feb 03
Balkan:
It's crucial to take note of the recent policies implemented by the Nigerian government with regards to importation and duties as these measures may have a range of unintended consequences. Although some may view these restrictions as a targeted attack on the Igbo people and their business practices, it's important to keep in mind that all Nigerians will likely be affected by these changes. The new policies may bring about various unforeseen outcomes, and it's essential for us to wait and see how these measures will play out in the long run. It's plausible that these policies may create new opportunities for Igbo businesses and economic growth, but it's equally possible that they may have negative consequences. Therefore, it's essential to remain optimistic about the future while also being realistic about the potential risks and challenges that may arise as a result of these policies.

But the bottom line is that it is target at Igbos. I am very sure they will always survive it. These fire brigade approach is as a result of clueless people in goveenment. Igbos are known to be die hard and resilient people. Its going to make more billionaires out of them
It no concern me. Na wetin I buy na him I go sell. Put additional 2k on brake pads. I will buy it. Add the 2k including 30% mark up & other add one. Unless we stop using cars

Nwabali just came out of nowhere and start 'balling' for us. That's kinda strange. He has become everybody's darling in that team.

But then putting two and two together, Enyeama said something about going to AFCON before the tourney starts. Could it be that Enyeama did alchemy of souls and swap body with Nwabali.

Just think...both even have the same head shape and usually shout at interval. Alchemy of souls?
The guy provoke for Iwobi no be small. And even zaidu when his mistimed a pass and the Angolans ran into the 18 which King Ekong blocked. Dude no dey fear anyone.

Neither Obi nor Atiku is the president. So why are they in the equation. Focus on the man that is on the seat. I will do this is entirely different from I have done this. So from your analysis. Tinubu doesn't have any template. He is only using other peoples plans. Tinubu saw day one and acted on it immediately.

No trans, no healthcare, free water, free fuel and free light. Pls how much again is our min wage again. Maybe am going too far. What's the salary of a GL10 civil servant.

I have been meaning to say this all the while. It's worrisome that we don't have a dead ball player in SE.
1) We are not threats to opposition during corner kicks. We have gone 4 matches in this Afcon. Zero goals from corner. Zero goals from indirect & direct free kicks. We have giants in our team but we cannot convert even 1 corner kick. Not even goal aaaiiih!!. It's worrisome. Our deliveries are always very poor.

It's not as if Nigeria does not have what it takes to beat them. But you will be tough....very tough.
Angola has a problem with their defence. They are slow. That's where the pace of Osimhen and lookman will fetch them red cards.

Lol. Actually in my locale, I can eat 2 wraps of Fufu for 400 Naira, 2 piece of meat for 400 Naira. Pure water is free. So I'll still have some change left. grin
And your family goes hungry. A meal #800 with a family of 6 it's already #4800 x 3 meals it's already #14,400 per day. You run it 30 days in d month. Now this is where the problem is. Now you can advice the govt how much a minimum wage should be.

How can a single man earning 50k survive if he spends 1400 per meal ie 4300 per day?

Okay what if he is married with 2 children.

Majority earn that low especially teachers even from Govt.

Even if he eats 1000 daily ie 330 per meal, it's already 30k per month on food alone, no rent, transport etc.

Mr Fayose please just shut up except the minimum wage is 200k you are talking nonsense

Wetin family man wan do??

We have dollarized our Economy so bad that our focus is on the Dollar rate vs making the Naira Strong…let the Naira finds its reall value and don’t peg it against the dollar…buy local, eat local, reduce ur long throat for foreign goods….Nigerians should wake up…..says Isaac Fayose

I have checked iwobi's and compared it with Mane's. It was a complete favouritism at play. Check the kickabouts Cameroonian's gave SE and how many yellows they collected. Even the guy that flew into our GK suppose carry red. But all we're waved away.

It's like this is rigged already of maybe luck. From the upper half. Team's at the top are advancing. Therefore, Morroco will advance. Then at the lower half, teams at the bottom are advancing. So Burkina will advance. Just what I saw in that picture.

What CIV is lacking is Osimhen. Just put Osi in this team the defence will commit penalty. Meanwhile Mane earned straight red. Na ojoro CAF played there.

However, I was an ardent supporter of Sanusi on this platform. The truth is, he is not fully fit. He has been battling with injuries in recent times.

Immediately Bassey took his position we started creating chances after chances from that side. Bassey will give us what Aina is giving on the right and Omeruo too with his delicious long passes!!
Pls. Bassey lungs and Sanusi lungs no be the same. Running that channel upandan no be come chop oh. It get why Sanusi dey there. He will come good. Bassey will still be doing his 10mins as usual.

Yes the job of a striker is to score goals and so far in this tournament Osimhen has done extremely well cuz our goals had Osimhen imprints, right from EG to Cameroon.

He scored EG,was fouled for our penalty against CIV,forced GB to score own goal and wrestled to give that assist to Lookman.

Hope to see him scoring against Angola but his play so far, especially against Cameroon gave Lookman freedom to operate.
Elder I dobale. Osimhen was doing this and more for Napoli when that moniker hold ground for him talk. I just dey see him now dey mention pressing and all round play and how it's helping the team. If SI Unit of match pressing is measured in OSI. What he has applied in this Afcon is just 4 OSI compared to 10 OSI he gives in Napoli shirt. I wonder wetin him go talk when the pressing reach 5-6 OSI sef.
