Ephemmm:
Was the not the same road the ineffectual buffon was using to campaign during his visit to Lagos? Use your brain please.
The road has been Constructed right from Shagamu Interchange to Christopher University (Just before RCCG). The contractor (Julius Berger) left immediately after GEJ handed over.

How many inches have your "ineffectual Fashola buffon" added to the road since GEJ left ?

I am not surprise by your attack, because I know you are one of his numerous APC e-rats that he uses for his propaganda.

I think the binis should stop reply those Party-frisk oba from the west.
because if you wrestle with a pig, you become a pig as well.

everybody knows that the Oba of Benin is paramount to all yoruba Obas.

Pls who is Oduduwa?
Oduduwa (Izeduwa) was a Benin prince that wander from Benin kingdom to Ife, where he was eventually crown the first ooni of Ife.

“Ooni is one of the five principal Obas in Yorubaland. The others are in order of the way they are classified on supremacy basis. After the Ooni is the Alaafin. After the Alaafin, the Oba of Benin. After the Oba of Benin, it comes to the Alake of Egbaland and the fifth and by no means the last or the least, the Awujale of Ijebuland.’’ grin grin grin
The Oba of Benin is supreme to all yoruba obas, because first ooni of Ife was the ancestral son of the Oba of benin.

Bini names ko, Bornu names ni.

Abeg park well.

When you have the liver to ask your palace historian about Yoruba being the language of your palace, get back to me.

I never knew Shango, Olokumi, Osun and Ogun are all Bini deities too.

Let us hear you mythology on them.
I now believe that your Oduduwa was actually thrown down from the sky due to his dirtiness.
no wonder your towns are all littered with brown roofs and filthy environment.

You are off point again.

Yoruba was the official language of the palace till the 20th century. Ask your palace historian.

Is Idumagbo not part of the Eko island? How does that confer on you the right to Lagos? Why is Oba Akiolu not bearing your name? He must have been whao-ed by Yoruba names.
Go ask Oba Akiolu his linage he will happily tells you is a proud Oba of bini lineage.
you can rant up and down but can not change history.

I frequently saw the last ooni attending the Esama of Bini, Chief Igbinedion's birthday parties, and eating party jolof rice. CLASSLESS to say the least.
NB: the Esama pays homage to the Oba of Bini

They are called Idu, not Idumwun. Idu is Yoruba word, check the following.

Adu
Edu
Edu
Idu
Odu
Odu
Udu

All Yoruba in all the vowels in our lexicon.

I want to see you replicate with Bini word sand vowels. I dare you to
Idumwun in bini means "Street"
so Idumwum-Ota means Ota-Street
IdumwumunOta was later corroborated to Idumota

I am laughing in jukun and Yorubas are not speaking Bini or Edo or whatever language you guys speak.

You did all that, yet the official language o your palace was Yoruba?

On Eko, I though you should have installed Oba of Eko following the analogy of the drunk chief.

Meanwhile Eko that you conquered had inhabitants there before you came and it was just a small island out of the present day Lagos that includes Epe, Ketu, Ikorodu, Isolo Ebute meta of then.

Even at that, being the owner of your crown makes us th owner of whatever you own inclusive of the tiny Eko.
I am very regular in the Oba (Benin) Palace, It is Bini language that is spoken there.
for your information, pay a visit to the Oba of Lagos palace and you will see that everything there are replica of the Oba of benin. that tells you that the Oba of Lagos is a descendant of the benin Kingdom. even the chiefs there still bear bini names till date.
Streets in Lagos Island still bear bini names till date e.g Idumota (Idumwun-ota), Idumagbo (Idumwun-Agbo),

The day anyone in Oba of Benin's palace can answer these questions, I will take them serious:

1. Why were you taking permission for installation of your kings from Ife, up till the 20th century.

2. Why were you burying you dead kings in Ife, even up till the 20th century.

3. What is the name of the father of Eweka I.

4. What was the name of the dynasty that went into extinction before Eweka dynasty started.

5. When did the following words sneaked into your lexicon - Oba, Benin.

6. Why are you worshipping the Yoruba deities despite the fact that they have no link to your place eg Olokumi, Ogun Osun, Sango and even Ifa.

7. Why was Yoruba language the official language of the palace until recently.

8. As powerful as Oyo Empire and Benin Kingdom were, why was there no attempt by any to conquer the other?

Let me stop here for now.

I will take the drunk Chief serious when the Oba of Benin is bold enough to utter same, when he knows the ancestral curse he will be placing on himself and lineage.

At least one Yoruba Oba was bold enough to voice who Oba of Benin, he should be man enough to utter the contrary himself, if he can.

Mi o r'aye oshi jare.
you can burn all the candles in this world to provide the answers to your questions.

The bini empire at the height of her peak, stretches up to dahomey. all Yoruba states were conquered including oyo empire.
Their traces of conquest are still present in yoruba-land till date. e.g Ore town (Ondo State) was founded by the binis, Osemawe (oba in ondo) linage are from bini, Eko (Lagos), Ooni of Ife was a bini prince, majority of yoruba's artifact came from Benin palace, e.t.c

I am not trying to scheme up unnecessary attention here but if I narrate some of my ordeals( even as a poor and apolitical citizen), many would waive it off as mere fabrications. I discovered that my phones, movements and other personal activities were (and are still) been tapped. In fact, I received some strange calls before and after the 2015 elections. I guess these are prizes to be paid for writing on Nairaland and perhaps, speaking on Radio (which I seldom do). However, all these won't deter me from voicing my opinion on national issues most especially Buhari and APC's mischiefs since we are all stakeholders in Nigerian Project. I believe so strongly in my conscience and God. As it's often said, ONE WITH GOD IS MANY.
they will have to tap millions of phones, because Nigerians will continue to lam-blast and criticize the government if they are not forthcoming.
