Download your display driver and install it. Best way to do it is through windows update. Windows will download the recommended one

I upgraded just this Monday past. I have logged into some other websites no problems but with Nairaland when I log in I'm still shown as a guest, At firsnot I thought I was banned but I'm using my tablet now. I don't know if it has anything to do with the cookies I just need someone to explain better to me how to go about sorting this out. Thanks

Download Ccleaner pro version and scan your browsers. it'll clean all junk files including caches and cookies. then check again

That setting doesn't affect internet connections. I suggest you troubleshoot your simple server. try it the usual way you are used to and know if it's still working

windows 10 enterprise

Open your start menu, Search for "network proxy settings" and click on it.
turn off "automatically detect settings" and turn on "use a proxy server" under manual proxy server then input the following
address: 127.0.0.1
port: 8080
leave every other field untouched and save..
Launch your simple server and connecct

It will now power the whole system and you don't need to change proxy settings on browsers except IDM thouggh

OK. First as you're not seeing "sleep" option, it shows you haven't installed a display driver. That will come when you install your display driver.

Secondly, to get hibernate option, click on your battery icon and open power settings from there. On the options on the left, you'll see "choose what the power button does" then click on it. Then look for "change settings which are currently unavailable" and click on it as well then scroll down and tick hibernate box then save. That's all

I just gave you Intel as an example. it all depends on the driver you want to download. Intel is just for display drivers. So which drivers are missing?

If your OEM (eg HP) has released WIN 10 drivers for your model then go to their site if not then head to the driver's manufacturer's website (eg Intel) and download it there

good morning guys, I recently installed Windows 10 as a dual boot with my windows 8, fixed all the driver issues, disabled automatic updates and done every other recommended settings, the problem is despite having done all this, my data still drain (unlike Windows , each time i connect to the Internet with my modem, am still pondering what else is draining my data, apart from this Windows 10 is a sleek os, a fraction faster than my 8, and the best of all runs cooler and games run faster each time am gaming. just need to fix the data draining issue

It's probably the live tiles in the start menu. Right click on each one and turn it off

pls my pc is using window 7 OS and is working well excepts that the Lan internet(wireless)drive is not switching on,infact can't use it to browse internet for the past 1 yr.i dont know if i should upgrade it's os to window 8 or 10 will make the Lan(wireless) drive work again?

goto "device manager" and check if the driver is properly installed. If not then try installing it.

Were you using it before? if yes what made it to stop?
If you upgraded it, try "roll back driver" in the device manager.

But in a case where by all fail, I'll suggest you upgrade to 8.1. that's the best windows for now. A clean install is advised.

If I copied the files of a game and start playing can it lead to the game crashing

Copy and play can only work with old games but if it's a new game it won't work because most new games makes entry into the registry

That's the problem. Your laptop vram is 32mb and that's why the games are crashing. It has nothing to do with the disappearance of your vram as that's normal after installing windows 8 on some systems.

dll errors are mostly game errors. I dont think its a registry problem. A good search on google would go a long way in fixing that, as I cant guarantee that windows 10 will fix it.

What I said is for his PC specs because most new Intel PCs comes with Intel HD 3000/4000 GPU with will display 0mb Vram but will still run all games efficiently. So whats your specs?
