You can delete only if you haven't pressed the space bar. Once you press the space bar, you can't delete again.
If you can get your hands on a computer, just download 'typing master' software. It's free.
After you install it, open it and look on the right pane, you'll see 'typing test', click on it and you'll see a lot of passages. One of those passages is what you'll type so start practicing and remember to time yourself with 2mins (the timer is there as well)

What about the battery life of amd processors

Even with FIFA/PES you still need fan and the kind of fan I mean is external laptop fan. You will keep the laptop on it while operating it. Google will help you more on that.

About battery life, my experience with my amd laptop was poor but I don't know about their modern processors

If it's new, it's super OK. If it's fairly used, it's still OK. That specs with core i5 is above 100k. I recommend you buy external fan if you intend using it for graphics demanding apps like games. One bad thing about AMD processors is that they can turn your laptop to pressing iron

If your system is running flawless in your current windows version then just do an upgrade and remember to check for missing drivers and install them after the upgrade

You won't lose your files during the upgrade unless you want a clean install

Try discharging your capacitors. To do that, switch off your laptop, remove the battery then press and hold the power button for like 2 minutes. Then check if its working

There are two ways to do it. Either you upgrade or do a clean install (formatting).
Since you are still new to it, I will advice you to do the upgrade. Just download windows 8.1 and install it like a normal software

Check the driver if it's installed properly. If you've updated it then roll back to previous version

For those of you that are yet to do their CBT, this info is for you.
First of all, if you did last week or yesterday and you've not received buddy invitation mail, just reapply. Regret mail always come late (insider's advice)

On the CBT, passing all the three tests are very important. But what they check first is your typing skill then followed by your problem solving test. In this part, they are actually after two things; your answer and how many words you were able to type before the time elapsed so type as many words as possible. Then your call simulation comes last. Here, they just check if you picked the important details like phone number, phone make/model and name.

From a reliable source. I'm still asking him what is needed to scale through in oral interview

Lol.....I actually run a biz center so I've been typing for like two years now. Also I learnt typing with that particular software they are using.

Besides, i type in excess of 60wpm only that the keyboard I used that day was hyper sensitive

I just stumbled on this thread. Please I did for a friend on Wednesday (he was far from Kano). I got 46wpm, 91% accuracy & 41awpm. I did well also on the problem solving question but the problem is the call simulation. Every other person did English and a native language but mine refused to load Igbo language. So I ended up doing only English and they discharged me like that. I hope it won't affect his score

Please, whenever I insert a DVD disc into my laptop, it will show an empty disc despite the fact that the disc is not empty but when I insert a VCD disc, it plays normally. Am on Window 10.

In your CD-rom drive there are two lasers reading cd and dvd separately, maybe the laser for dvd is weak/dead
But just try another dvd, hopefully it will be from the disk

If it has two rams then try booting with one

Adding to the above, you'll need java development kit (jdk) not the runtime And your preferred IDE, me i like Netbeans

Adding to the list above: any browser of choice (I prefer firefox), ccleaner, encarta dictionaries will also be good.

These are basically what you need in your system, all other software depends on your field and don't install what you don't use, it helps the system to flow smoothly
