Walahi, I had the experience this last week. It was a cough spree for my son last week, on our way from work, we went to see a Dr who prescribed a drug for my son. Ok, we bought the drug and it was 250mg to be taken for 5 days. On taking the first those, my boy didn't sleep from around 1 am till 3:30 am, he was just coughing non stop. I was so scared. We didn't allow him to go to school in order to monitor and give him the drug according to time. By the time he took the 3rd dose, he was relieved.

I don't know what took my husband to his chemist friend and he told him about the cough, told him the drug we have bought, thats how the chemist guy said one bottle will not be enough that my son was suppose to take the drug for 10 days. He bought the same type of drug and came home, I was dosing when he was telling me that he had bought additional bottle , that he is going to take it after we finish the first one. I said ok. The following morning, I saw the drug on the table and discovered the pack was different from the one we bought. I took my time to read the content and discovered that the one we bought is 250mg and the one his chemist friend sold to him is 125mg. Meaning its the same dosage (250mg to be taken for 5 days), (125mg is to be taken for 10 days).That's how I left the drug on the table o and finish the one we bought, Had it been I didn't take my time to read the leaflet, I would have given him overdose.

If the guy really knows what he was doing, he was suppose to ask my husband the mg of the drug he bought before given him another one. So, owing a chemist shop does not qualify them to prescribe drug. Those people at pharmacy shops are there to learn and attend to customers.

Take your baby to the doctor!!!
If you've already done that, then simply administer the drugs that was prescribed for him by the doctor! When you've completed the dosage and theres no change, take your baby back to the doctor! Stop taking chances with your child!!!

The worse thing you can do to a child is to keep buying drugs prescribed by people who know nothing about the working of a child's system just because it worked on theirs!

cos he was the one that went to her room, and started the whole stuff. But. I want to believe the maid taught him. But on the other way round, it might be from school and he started practising it with the maid and she liked it, thereby encouraging it.

Thank you all once again but I want to clarify some things. The maid was brought to me by her mother not a trafficker, the mother gave birth to 6 girls and 3 boys and she can't cater for them all. No husband and no profitable income. My wife was kind of against the idea but I just felt that the maid will help her the more, with a new born baby at hand. I didn't know I have committed a child abuse by employing a teen less than 18,I didn't know until now. So sorry about that.

I told her mother what happened and with the way she replied, most of her girls have been exposed to such so it's basically from home. She apologised and I also did for cutting short our terms. I gave her some money just to help

I don't even know who to say sorry to for committing a child abuse.. Maybe the mother, the girl, the people here or my wife. I'm so sorry and I won't have anything to do with any teen. I'm deeply sorry

My own is no teacher must beat my child and the reason is fear of sustaining injury. But personally, I can flog my child and let him know the reason for flogging.

In this case, he has been molested and now deriving pleasure from it, Little flogging won't harm him and after flogging, let him know the reason for it. then, draw him near, pray for him and keep monitoring him.

You can't get a child's age from his/her mothe'r age. Some women married late while some married early and didn't give birth on time. Also, some have delay after their first issue. Some get pregnant after years of family planning. So many circumstances like that makes the mum to be aged and the child is younger.

In my own case, it depends on the weather. warm in the morning and ordinary water (bottle water) in the afternoon if the weather is hot.
