Politics / Re: Audu’s Supporters Push For Son As Replacement In Kogi Governorship Poll by ConsciousMind: 10:20am On Nov 26, 2015 |
This is very stupid. APC should be exploring other options such as ALFA, because I can definitely see more people sways towards WADA now. |

CR77: Also bear in mind that Aidoko rigged his own election. This was the real winner https://twitter.com/realonei/status/542372651683958784 The whole thing is messed up |
Politics / Re: Idris Wada Of PDP Begins Campaign (Photos) by ConsciousMind: 10:07pm On Nov 02, 2015 |
JohnReese: I would say that voters should just boycott this whole thing. Because as I'm seeing it, we're damned if we vote Audu, and we've damned if we vote Wada, and if we vote a completely different party APC and PDP won't have it. Even during the Senatorial elections, like you said, people are tired of PDP, and so they voted APC, but the APC candidate for east kogi was just as bad as the PDP candidate. And now they've kicked out the APC senator that Aidoko wants to have the seat (which actually belongs to ALFA, as ALFA won the PDP primaries) I feel no matter who we vote, we'll always be at a disadvantage . The problem is deep within the parties. They never give us credible candidates. Unfortunately democracy in Kogi still remains a phantasm. 1 Like |
Politics / Re: Senator Abdulrahman Abubakar Loses Seat To PDP by ConsciousMind: 1:43am On Oct 11, 2015 |
Why has no-one picked up on the fact that Aidoko rigged his own election? There are at least 2 court cases against him pertaining to the PDP senatorial primaries. |

Religion / Re: The Creation- How Compelling Is The Christian Narative? by ConsciousMind: 4:17am On Aug 20, 2015 |
davien: The whole point of pro creation is to make sure your genes are passed on. Its a way of immortalising yourself. Your genes live on in your children. By being immortal yourself, what's the point of passing on your genes? You'll never die so there's no need to make children to carry on your genes. |
Religion / Re: The Creation- How Compelling Is The Christian Narative? by ConsciousMind: 2:37am On Aug 16, 2015 |
davien: But then there would be no point of the world. Might as well make everyone immortal, and not pro-create. |

I like to think of as like this: God is a perfectionist. He makes things imperfect so he can improve on them. What's the point if everything was perfect anyway? God wouldn't have anything to do. Love wouldn't make sense because love is all about overcoming imperfections. So he made Adam and Eve, and they were perfect in our eyes. God doesn't make mistakes, he makes a version that can be improved on. Good could have chosen to make another tribe after Eden. And that's where Cain went. Adam and Eve were black. By the time the New Testament was over God had used evolution to mutate other ethnicities. When Noah ark survived the flood, his children were all different. Slight ethnicity variations. That was the only way they could preserve human race |
Politics / Re: Kogi State, A Moving Snail? by ConsciousMind: 3:55pm On Apr 07, 2015 |
What do you expect when the igala are so blind? I can truthfully tell you there have been leaders who genuinely care about Kogi, who have been trying to assume office for over 10 years now. Had it been they had been elected years ago, Kogi would have been a different state. But alas the igalas have only began to see beyond their bottomless pits of greed. As for the other tribes in Kogi, if the igalas won't move Kogi forward, gang u against them and impose better leaders! Lets not take panadol for someone else's headache. |

Politics / Re: Mark To Run Again For Senate. by ConsciousMind: 1:47pm On Oct 28, 2014 |
obijeki: He's not, there are so many other qualified, if not more qualified leaders than him, sadly they don't play it as dirty as he does. He's also got the upper hand, by handing people paid non-existant positions, that way he gains their loyalty. Idoma's are naive, and those bold enough to talk will be thwarthed by the fears of the others. There are women who would do a better job than he does, but they won't be respected, because of the backward mentality. 2 Likes |
