you really need to understand what passing accuracy is - it's not about who makes the most assists or key passes. it's about who passes the ball more accurately. when the pass leads to goals or it leads to a shot taken is irrelevant - there are different statistics for those.

heaven didn't fall when leon britton of swansea was deemed the best passer in europe some seasons ago. he had more passing accuracy than xavi, busquets & arteta. no one said he gets the most assists or the most key passes.....english comprehension is a problem on this section of the forum.

it doesn't matter who slapped who first, you verminous cretin. the alleged culprit here is the MIL & thus the wifey should have restrained herself from slapping someone old enough to be her mother. that was why i asked you earlier that had the slap come from her own mother, would she have retaliated?

i really don't get how you people argue at times. at no point in this argument did i suggest cleverley is a better player than herrera. my point is cleverley passes the ball more accurately than herrera. whether herrera scores more, assists more, does more bicycle kicks or somersaults are irrelevant.

the question is - who passes the ball more accurately?

Fabregas has 86 percent for Chelsea. Cleverley is a better passer according to Coogar.
fabregas can't pass - he takes too many risks cos he forces moves that are not on. that's one of the reasons he didn't fit @ barcelona. he's the worst passer in the midfield that had xavi, iniesta, busquets. even del bosque never trusted him in the midfield, he often left him on the bench or played him as a false striker - where his inaccurate passes wouldn't hurt the team.

what u have above is chances created, not key pass. you can reconfirm the stat. It already taken care of your objections .
what has this gotta do with passing accuracy of cleverley & herrera? why are you jumping around?

•elampiro - herrera is better than cleverley in everything.

•coogar - cleverley passes better than herrera

•elampiro - messi has 1000 shots, xavi has 600 assists, iniesta has 40,000 key passes, RVP had 1864377 shots

•coogar - cleverley's passing accuracy is 87% & herrera's passing accuracy is 80% - **the stat was backed up with evidence**

•elampiro - xavi has 0.0007 min per shot, iniesta has 9.6789 nano-seconds per assist & RVP has 578536 shots per second
______________________________

as you can see, you are jumping about without advancing your argument one jot. who has the better passing accuracy between herrera & cleverley? answer that question and we can call it a day.

this is about all passes that led to shots off target , on targets and goals. considering united took more shots per minute, cleverly was abysmal.
who has the better passing accuracy between herrera & cleverley? you said there's nothing cleverley does better than herrera. i countered that point with cleverley's passing accuracy - and since then you have been colouring the argument with irrelevant stats that had nothing to do with herrera.

coogar u are confusing urself
. d key pass u have there is chances created. thats from whoscored data. Assists for goals are irrelavant to this.
you are the one confusing yourself na.
i said if cleverley had a striker like messi in his team who takes about 33% of the total shots taken by the entire team and scores at least 1/3 of the shots taken then cleverley's key pass or assist stat would be higher.

you then went on to show stats that messi took 22 more shots than van persie that had 38/38 league game appearance. it means messi was more effective than van persie that season & he took more shots in less number of minutes than van persie. cleverley in their team would cop more assists/key passes.

Also I have already taken Cleverly stat down to per mins and he fell behind Xavier and imiester, while united has a better person minute than barca
no, you didn't tabulate the shots of messi/RVP per min. that was where you hid the lie. besides, why are we comparing cleverley to iniesta/xavi. i thought the comparison was with herrera abi na barca herrera dey play?

secondly - the player closest to cleverley's role in barca would be busquets. try compare like for like. my initial assertion was cleverley passes the ball better than herrera & their historical passing stats have proven me right.

anything beyond that is you grappling at straws.

herrera's career passing accuracy - 80%

cleverley's career passing accuracy - 87.5%

elampawa, you really shot yourself in the foot on this one. cleverley passes the ball so much better than herrera. herrera has never clocked 90% in his career - cleverley had several 90% passing stats - it's his second nature.

Why wont he make 90% when you said he played in same zone as Smalling, where passes are made to Van Der Sar or DDG? grin or passes to and from Fedinand and Vidic. If Heerera played with Scholes, he would make 94%.
how come carrick doesn't have 94%? grin

Iniester, Favregas, Ozil, Di Maria are amateurs, you mean? grin
using assist stats to measure creativity is for amateurs.

I pulled out 2012/13 season when probably he had his best season in a Man United title winning side, yet he fell short. If Herrera played in that team of Ferguson, with Scholes and a sharper Carrick beside him, he would have done far more.
or he could have been shipped back to bilbao. fergie's teams were more cavalier. he encouraged his players to take more risk passes. if cleverley was still here, his passing stat would be 97%. his passing stats in the few games he played under van gaal stands at 90% - and we didn't even win those games.

Messi had 163 shots
RVP had 141 shots.
there's a difference of 22 shots in that stat. no premier league player has assisted 22 league goals in the last 10 seasons. so you have shot yourself in the foot.

Barca had 524 total shots
Man United had 554 total shots.
this even helps my point. so messi had 163 shots alone from barca's 524 shots? that's almost 3 to 1. how many goals did messi score that season? so if cleverley has a player that takes more than 1/3 of the shots taken by the team, how many key-passes do you think he would have? surely, it would be more than what he got at united.

logic 101.

Remember, key passes are gotten from shots. Therefore, from the above figures, Clevereley should have had more key passes than Xavi and Iniester.

Checkmate!
useless logic....
what about the number of minutes played by cleverley? what about the level of the opponents faced? hell, what about the position the respective position of the players in consideration?

why do people look down on women?

your question should be why do women look down on their fellow women? women are the ones that mostly look down on baby-mommas. nothing to do with men in most cases.

it's women that somehow infused decency with sexualïty. men who date multiple women at a time are not judged by his fellow men, he even gets a pat on the back for his virility.

a woman who dates multiple man get instant judgement from her peers. why do you think women put a value on their virginity unlike the men who actually ridicule their friends who is yet to taste the forbidden fruit?

Herrera average for us is 89%. More so he makes more passes per match than Cleverley did for us. Herrera makes a pass every 1.2 mins while Cleverley made a pass every 1.4 min.
cleverley clocked 90% several times under SAF - including european games. he's the better passer of the ball. statistics say so.

elampiro:
Assist in Man United
Herrera 4 Assist in 1239 minutes.
Cleverley 3 Assists in 3561 minutes.
assist is for amateurs!

Key pass
Herrera is 72.9mins/key pass in Man United
Cleverley 76.6 mins/key pass. using 2012/13 season
herrera plays in a more advanced position while cleverley was in the pivot in 12/13 season. even then, the difference is marginal.

Now tell me who is the better passer. Iniester and Xavi don't just go about making passes for passing sake. Check their Assists and key passes when they were still in their prime. Iniester with 16 Assists in one season. Iniester 47min/key pass, Xavi 50min.key pass.
if united had messi(90 goals per year) in their team when cleverley was there, his key pass stat would be under 30 mins. messi scores from any part of the pitch, you want to compare messi to rooney?
