This issue again. But the summary is that Nigerian women are their own worst enemies. The wicked MIL of today were the innocent DIL thirty years ago. Women are just intolerant of each other.

If the husband beat up his MIL, he will be a beast but if the wife beats her MIL; then our frustrated wives association of Nairaland will say she has to be right.

The MIL asked for her grandchild's pictures. I don't think that is a ridiculous request that must be denied. The wife probably is one of those that believe all MIL are witches who must be fought and defeated just like some morons here. Now she has caused problems for herself.

Courtois problem is his reaction.

He's already on the edge of his box and his body and brain is still in forward motion.

It took him good half a second to reverse his momentum.

The ball was already halfway to his goal before he started making progress toward his goalline. Nonsense.
his reaction & movement are quite poor.

hahahaha - diego costa just popped his hamstring. another 3 weeks. hope for united!

courtois bottled that - what was he doing that far from his goal? he should get dropped for his error. that strike was superb though - the best long range effort i have seen in the premier league.

You are still here defending the indefensible.....
you are a goat!
a big smelly billy-goat with poöp for brains.

Leaderless Liverpool right, 10 men right, you are fu...cking pillock
we took 6 points from liverpool, you could only manage 4. we don't belong to the same class.

I am sure Falcao himself won't defend himself the way you are .... Fu..cking multimillion pound pile of wa....nk! Stick to the point, This is Giroud and Falcao
when giroud scores 30 goals in one season he can challenge falcao. giroud - a second tier striker who no clubs want apart from a perennial failure manager like wenger is who you are wetting your pants over? you are a disgrace to homo sapiens.

When Falcao gets to double figures, come and have a rant
he's scored 30+ goals about 4 times in his football career in europe. giroud will never be a world class forward. he's only good for C-rated teams like arsënal.

patrickmuf:
Xavi is almost past it as with Iniesta...Mata is just as good if not better than Silva...Martinez and Busi are DM so they're out of the picture... Tiago though talented is injury prone and Xesc is way too inconsistent... Take away reputation and you'll see our boys are just as good and threatening to get even better going forward...
unfortunately, del bosque would stick to his trusted soldiers. mata & herrera would get their chance but not yet. spain have way too many midfielders for mata/herrera to command a shirt.

Herrera and Mata should be the future of Spain's midfield
spain have better midfielders than that duo - it's difficult to play every spanish midfielder. xavi, isco, iniesta, cesc, silva, busi, thiago, javi martinez, etc. how many can you play at a time?

words fall from your mouth like shytë from arsê. giroud's goal against a 10-man disillusioned liverpool side that lacks a leader is what you are celebrating?

your standard must be very low - your team hasn't won a league title for 11 seasons and you are celebrating a goal?

you, my friend, have reached the zenith of intellectual bankruptcy. you epitomise failure at 100% purity.

Yea.Vidic too looked shocking in his first season.Sometimes its a bit blurry drawing the line between a player who is acclimatizing and a player who simply isn't good enough for us.Di maria can be said to be acclimatizing but we all know the quality is there.Rojo needs to improve massively otherwise he may have to be nothing other than a squad player next season.Johnny Evans in my opinion is the one who will unquestionably leave.
there's nothing wrong with rojo.
until smalling's rich vein of form, rojo was our best defender. even now, he's the 2nd best defender.

How did it happen? And doesn't the Bank of Gold coordinate the economic/financial decisions with the Chancellor? And who keeps the gold reserves?
evil policies that had unemployment at 3 million at a point. her policies triggered the brixton riot. heaven knows the number of our negroid brothers that lost their lives to that riot.

But the UK was in a worse situation than Greece is in right. And no, the option of financial markets wasn't there. Hence why the Labour government went to the IMF.
there's nothing really wrong in borrowing from IMF. i understand britain was in dire straits then but thatcher's policies were extremely harsh and she didn't care one jot about scotland - she even used them as a guinea pig for a year to test the poll tax scheme.

i understand her enthusiasm to cut the rise in inflation but she overdid it. she increased interest rates & VAT from 8% to 15% at some point. home owners couldn't cope with the repayments, many of them lost their homes as a result.

As for your comment about destroying the Labour party, Callaghan's Labour government was brought down by the Unions. Isn't that Ironic? grin grin grin grin
grin cheesy
as a result, 2 million manufacturing jobs were lost due to thatcher's aggressive policies. enough steel companies & shipyards just folded up. didn't she abolish the provision of free milk to school children too? how can you even hold a brief for this woman?

had thatcher come as an african male, she would have been robert mugabe. grin
Politics › Re: Jagaban by coogar: 12:10am On Apr 04, 2015
Katsumoto:
Borrowing from the financial markets, yes but borrowing from the IMF, Hell no. Why do you think there is much brouhaha over Greece's debt? When you are so broke that you resort to the IMF, then you are in trouble. And the reason you turn to the IMF is because you can't get money from the financial markets. Once the markets starts pricing your bonds at over 5% for a ten year note, you are in trouble. So in terms of borrowing, no one would have borrowed you more money. IMF borrowing is usually for paying off debts and meeting essential services. No one will borrow you more money so that you can pay Giro or so you can keep running loss making coal mines.
come on, britain ain't greece!
there's no way they would have collapsed like greece in the late 70s. besides, you have the option of the financial market like you suggested.

thatcher's policy made people poorer. she contrived the collapse of britain as an industrial power....she wasted the opportunity of the windfall find of the north sea oil & completely eroded the ideology of common welfare.

Again, I ask the question, what would you have done?
nothing can convince me thatcher's policies were the best option as at then. her primary motive was to destroy the foundation of the labour party cos they were her biggest adversary. every other issue were purely an academic point.

You haven't answered my question - what would you have done? I admit she didn't get everything right but by George she saved the UK from ruin.
i answered you - i said i would just borrow more. i dunno why people generally see debt as a curse. as long as the repayments are met, what's the big deal? 99% of the houses here are mortgages(debt) - who cares?

however, to cripple the opposition party by hiding like you are doing the public a favour is an act of treason. she never actually won the majority of any popular vote.

her 11-year reign was because of the damage she had done to the labour party. some of them ran to form social democrat & then tried to join the liberals. it was that bloc of popular votes that denied labour from winning.

a clear majority voted against thatcher & her evil conservative party in each of those elections under her reign.

So here is a question for you

It is 1979 - The UK owes money to the IMF. It is so broke that streets aren't cleaned, the dead couldn't be buried. Marginal tax rate is over 90%. The Unions are on strike. Nothing is working. What would you do?
borrow more money. grin
her penny-pinching did much worse than good. BP - the state creation of winston churchill himself was sold off like pure water to her friends. the shareholders benefitted from it, hardly the british public.

don't even get me started with the introduction of poll tax to replace the local government property taxes to driving poorer natural labour voters off the electoral rolls. the same tight fisted schemes triggered the Falklands war when she withdrew funds off the BAS.

her sins were too many.

I tolerate the Tories because I hate Labour and Lib Dem because I am socially conservative. I am as old school as Moses. Fiscally, I am a centrist - I believe everyone should work and that the rich should pay more taxes but not so single mothers can have more kids or so that lazy buggers can watch soaps all day and go drinking.

And I defend Thatcher policies because she saved the UK from ruin. Like I asked you and all the others on that thread, what would you have done differently giving the collapse of the British economy and society under James Callaghan.
magaret thatcher is the worst thing that happened to britain. did you see the abacha's death-like celebration she got when she passed away. that just about tells the story.

she sold off public housing & halted all the programs to build more. state-owned enterprises like steel, railway, coal, gas & electricity were broken up cos she knew it formed the political & the financial base of the labour party.

come on, katz......this woman epitomised evil.

Its not in Unilag..its that Acapella Rap battle league I told y'all I got into (Vato Rap battle league)
I have done the auditions where we did freestyle brawls, but this one is the main brawl.
About 3 battles that day. 2 mins, 3 rounds esch
The dude I'm brawling is even coming from Delta (Venomous).. so its not a petty brawl or a child's play
We are even getting paid that day, though its a small amount but Vato said its just for starters.
jokes over bars, mate!

~ On the Audition day, I noticed the Joke bars got cheers more, so I'm taking your advise on that. I think I would use one line set up then punchline like Idivine suggested. I would write my second round in that manner
even in big URL crowds, jokes trounces bars. bars are just 30% of the ish. performance is 30%, jokes is 40%. enough intricate "yo momma" jokes and you would control the room.

How many line set-up do you think would be perfect for a live acapella rap battle? and wouldn't bore the audience.
Two line set-up, three line set-up or four?
Remember that it is a Nigerian crowd, and most of them are not used to Kotd,Url, smack or the new ways of rap battling. I've been trying to balance it but i'm having some little difficulties in doing that. My brawl in three weeks time and I'm thinking of rewriting my 2nd round, but lemme hear from y'all first.
you can do any number of lines, bro.
don't make it too intricate. that shytë doesn't work in live battles. do loads of jokes and simple schemes. the majority of any live audience are too slow to catch up with the volley of punchlines or intricate schemes you spew out. remember, they don't get a second look like a football referee. this isn't textceeing o so keep it ridiculously simple.

do a lot of references the crowd can relate with. if it's happening in UNILAG, all your references should be from there or at worst, lagos state. the more cheers you get, the more demoralised you would leave your opponent. he might even choke when it comes to his turn to rap. grin
