just use the search engine. type their username + tecno......something would pop up about all of them hyping their tecno phones.....just exclude them.

if they insist on participating in your tourney then the requirement must be for them to send their verses to your email in advance. that's the only way to prevent the no-shows. it's not really their fault - the lack of basic amenities in that part of the world can be partly blamed.

y'all should stop making threads if the textcees aren't ready yet....no matter what they say, don't answer them especially for tecno phone owners in nigeria like kim, teddy, icekidd & loonat11k. make sure they have their verses posted to a secure email before you make a thread for them - that would effectively reduce the no-shows!

many of these cats are struggling students. sometimes they have the bars but no light or internet data to post it on NL. we all saw how kim failed to show up to open a battle thread few months ago. he was scouring all the shops in sapele to buy data. if it was his battle as a regular member, won't he get walked over?

naija-based textcees that are students should be screened before giving them a thread. if any of them is interested in battling anyone....let them agree on date & time on the chatroom thread & let them send their verses to a secure thread before they get their thread. on the appointed date they agreed, the mod would post their verses whether the textcees are available on that day or not.

smalling has always been our best central defenfer. the only problem he's got is that he's poor in possession & his distribution is horrible - he seems to have improved on those departments in the last few games. i hope he can form a partnership with rojo while we dump jones & evans in january - those 2 are the biggest wimps in the history of football. rojo got badly injured against city & he's already playing.....jones & evans have refused to come back until easter next year.

Falcao was pulling the only positioned defender away to the right, the nearest guy to van Persie had some distance to cover if he'll catch up to van Persie before he gets to the box. the head-start already made enough sense for van Persie, I see no reason why he kept running ahead. the best movement he could have made was diagonally in line with the last man & the momentum to latch onto the through ball could have there still

the pass should arrive just before he runs past the last man. that's why only players blessed with vision can make through passes. the striker is just running hoping to beat the offside trap. he cannot tell if he's beaten it or not - the passer is in control of that. if the passer releases the ball at the right time then the runner is onside.......if the passer senses he cannot time it rightly or he's missed the right moment then he should hold on to the ball. van persie won't be active if the ball doesn't get to him. he will run back & try again.

the passer is the key not the runner!
