rooney definitely was the better talent in the first 2 years at united. he was explosive, rapid with loads of verve & panache. when rooney got the ball then(and he demanded it a lot from his teammates), you know something is about to happen.

his first big game was what woulda been arsenal's 50th unbeaten game. rooney scored one and assisted one. it was all about him that day. young rooney was extremely fearless - he bullied the entire arsenal defence that day.

The only reason Rooney shone more than Ronaldo when they first arrived at man'utd was because he's always had a good football brain and matured head over his shoulder than Ronaldo did at young age!

ronaldo was all about showboating in his first few years. he thought he could dribble 11 players all by himself & score. roy keane was always on his case.....

His decision making and link-up play were quite better at a young age as opposed to a certain young Ronaldo who was all about head-down dribbling with no ends product whatsoever!

the better talent is the one that lifts his head up and pings a pass others cannot see. ronaldo definitely had the tools but he failed to use any of them appropriately. he shot when passing was the right option, he passed when shooting was the right option.

it was after the world cup drama ronaldo became a man. he was the #1 public enemy in the UK & trust SAF to capitalise on that to create a siege mentality. same ish happened to beckham after france 98 & SAF revved beckham up to become the 2nd best player in europe.

This Burnthisleaguedown is really useless. There's no competition at all. Bayern is leading with 7 points already and have conceded just 4 goals in 9 matches.

In Spain nos 1 - 3 are on 18 points and the 4th team lags by just 2 points. There's some form of competition in other top leagues as well except the Bundesliga. However Mr. ramudeen won't let us hear word about this yeye league and brags like a drunk local champion. SMH
