From August 31st to August 4th, we had four to five days before the video. This was when everyone was trying to know things about Martial. The following facts can be gotten from this forum.
uniquegem had already declared him the messiah. he said anyone that could run & shoot is better than rooney. i also gave this verdict when i wanted us to get lacazette.

# elampiro announced United were going to buy Martial.
announcing his name means nothing. it's got nothing to do with whether you felt he would be an instant hit!

# No one really knew Anthony Martial.
speak for yourself....
many of us knew martial, we just didn't think he was worth £36m going to £58m. we knew what he was capable of but we were also realistic that his price tag might bring immense pressure on his shoulders to deliver.

# Everyone was interested about what was so special about this 19 years old. We were already fed up with teenagers after we saw Januzaj, Macheida, etc refused to develop.
this is a lie.
i have known martial since january.....and i am sure nihilist & adelana must have known him as well cos they are FIFA game veterans.

# Everyone wanted someone who could hit the ground running.
after rooney stunk up the whole joint against swansea, we all knew we needed an elite striker - something i had been screaming about when you told us rooney would score 25PL goals as a #9. grin

# everyone information about Martial was being relayed to the house for analysis. Elampiro produced his goals return as well as an interview where Schneiderlin says he plays like Henry.
you musta have imagined this in your dream. there was no single doubt in the hearts of many whether martial would hit. the fear was the pressure the price tag might cause for him.

Finally a video came out and elampiro again was the first to endorse Anthony Martial. Whatever anyone said before that video came out is insignificant. Moreover, I never called for his rejection as was wrongly stated by some in previous posts.
how is it irrelevant?
you needed a video to endorse martial....people who have deductive reasoning endorsed him without a video clip because they know we have enough creativity in our side.....all we needed was a striker who can run behind the defence line & shoot clinically.

Abeg see you for night.
don't bother coming back - you have been slaughtered! grin

phil jones is a lunatic. he never for once thought de gea could save the pen otherwise he should have anticipated a rebound and then cleared the ball. jones isn't ready abeg, he was never ready.

citeh without silva & aguero is the same as barca without messi & suarez. we should destroy them if we get the selection right. rooney will start again in his silent dominator role.....(fewest amount of touches & doing fück all in the game).

Above is another screen shot to prove I was the first to categorically and emphatically backed Martial without doubt. I knew he was a man of pace and power. grin

Case closed. I always win. Are you guys entertained?
elampiro, stop trying to be clever by half. the screenshot you provided was on the 4th of september. united signed martial on the 31st of august/1st of september. why don't you post what you had said about him before the 4th of september?

only uniquegem was a total believer that martial would be a hit. even coogar only spoke about his bundle of talents & the immense pressure heaped on his shoulders considering the money we paid to get him. i wasn't 100% certain he would take this league apart like uniquegem did.

you were nowhere supportive of martial when the news broke out that we were getting him. you were more concerned about rooney losing his place in the team than giving props to martial the moment we signed him.

The difference between Lingard and Rooney was marginal.
how's it marginal? lingard came off the pitch, rooney played 90 mins. 0.2 difference isn't marginal.

There were many times in the past when Rooney had higher whoscored rating than Mata, Young, Carrick, RVP and you still told us he was the worst player.
we are not talking about the past. whoscored has always been your holy grail. so if lingard was the worst player, how come rooney scored lower than lingard? cheesy grin

You have started again. Merefish had better profile than hazard? grin grin grin Even your crew would laugh seeing that. What merefish achieved at 21, hazard achieved it in a better league at 17. Before we bought him in 2012, he had already won the most essential individual awards in french league repeatedly. Depay was not the player of the year in eredivise before coming to man utd. He equally was n't the best dutch footballer after the world cup, Hazard was the best young footballer in the world when he was 20 years. so what yeye merefish profile are you brandishing? Just stop, i wont be suprised if LVG sells the flop to bulgaria or belgian league.

now, does this necessarily mean the constitution of these states said humans should go out there and start shägging animals? hell no. however, their constitution forgot or deliberately ignored to make provisions for anyone caught fücking animals and therefore there's no law/punishment provided to prosecute anyone caught committing the act of bestiality.

in other words, bestiality is legal in these states!

I think Crackhaus already did justice to this writeup. The writer is a fraudulent fellow in the sense that in his/her attempt to sound discerning, he/she tried to mask his/her limited knowledge of the law with ambigous vocabulary.

Propaganda doesn't help any cause
i fail to see any sort of discrimination myself. the OP said.... The Constitution provides in Section 26(2) that a woman who is or has been married to a citizen of Nigeria may be registered as a citizen of Nigeria, but silent as to whether a woman married to a foreign national can confer Nigerian nationality on her foreign husband.

the silence is actually an advantage to the nigerian women cos when there's no law, there's no crime. if the constitution remains silent over an issue it then means if any woman were to marry a foreign national, nothing can stop her from conferring the nigerian citizenship on her foreign husband since the law does not expressively say she has committed a crime if she were to do so.

where's the discrimination in that? since when did the nigerian passport even bear any relevance in the grand scheme of things. 3 of my oyibo friends got the nigerian passport the same day in lagos. there was no rigorous check done or anything. they rubbed palms, they were made to wait for few hours & their passports were issued to them.

was it not you that told us daley blind never got any nomination for player of the month? how did the argument start in the first place? it started cos you called me & raumdeuter liars over what you were clueless about.

memphis even had a better profile than hazard when we bought him. he was his league's top scorer and he won the dutch league's young player of the year.

at the world cup last summer in which hazard was the worst player, depay got nominated alongside pogba & varane in the 3-man shortlist of the young player of the tournament award, which pogba later won.

i don't even need to read any research to know nature/biology limits women. a woman has to eschew femininity altogether to break that limit.

you see male kids with toy cars, toy guns, lego and things that require big risks & a huge mental task. you then see female kids with their nurturing instincts carrying & feeding barbie dolls.

are we saying these female infants have also been classically conditioned from birth to nurture? so no matter how you tell ladies to stick to STEM, the chicken would soon come back to the roost by taking jobs like teaching, secretaries/temps or knitting.

As per the write-up, I'd very much say Smalling is the most improved central defender in the EPL. His game still needs brushing up.
He isn't comfortable bring the ball out from the back on his feet.
And I think the tag of best defender comes with overall mileage, like a couple of seasons with consistent above par performances.
So far 2015/16 he might be the best, but best defender in totality? Not sure.
that will come with time.
he's improved massively. last night, LVG even said he's looking at making him the next united captain.

IS SMALLING THE BEST DEFENDER IN THE LEAGUE?
As the season wears on, it is a question that is becoming more and more pertinent with every passing performance of power and authority by Manchester United's no.12. Is Chris Smalling the best central defender in the Barclays Premier League?

Certainly, on current form, a case has to be made for the England international. Shortlisted for both August and September's Player of the Month awards at the club, the 25-year-old has realised the potential that led to managerial greats Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger competing for his signature back in 2010 after recognising his fledgling talents at Fulham.

Ever since some ridiculously jumped to question his future after he was sent off in the first half against Sunday's opponents Manchester City last November, his performances have been consistently excellent. Redemption for that red card has already been achieved with his goal in the 4-2 triumph over the Reds' neighbours back in April.

With City heading across town again this weekend, there is the perfect opportunity to further enhance his reputation in front of the watching millions as United strive to justify our title credentials. Not least because the Blues contain one of the other genuine contenders to the mantle as the league's best defender in classy captain Vincent Kompany.

Yet the 29-year-old Belgian has been limited to only five Premier League outings all season due to injury concerns. City fans may point to the fact the team did not concede a goal during these matches as proof of his enduring quality but he is not the rock of previous years and there is even some talk he will start on the bench at Old Trafford. If he does start, it will be intriguing to compare the two stoppers at Old Trafford as they attempt to handle the threat of Wayne Rooney, Anthony Martial, Raheem Sterling, Wilfried Bony and others.

Last season's PFA Team of the Year contained Chelsea duo John Terry and Gary Cahill at the heart of the back four. It is difficult to argue that Blues stalwart Terry was not the top central defender in the country in 2014/15 but he has been in and out of Jose Mourinho's side this term. Cahill, who looks set to be Smalling's partner for England in Euro 2016, also has his doubters as Chelsea have endured a difficult opening to the campaign.

Arsenal's Laurent Koscielny, who missed the recent game against the Reds at the Emirates Stadium, is another candidate. Swansea City captain Ashley Williams, Everton prospect John Stones and Southampton's Jose Fonte may be worthy of a mention. But Smalling, enjoying an injury-free run and growing in stature and confidence with each game, has been immense. He even led the Reds out against PSV Eindhoven further enhancing his status as one of the most-respected stars of the team.

The joke about Mike Smalling, a reference to a slip of the tongue by Louis van Gaal in mid-July, is surely wearing thin now. Little matter. Chris Smalling can expect to see his own name up in lights at the annual end-of-season PFA awards night if he continues to dominate opposing strikers. Without a hint of bias, he has been the best defender on show in the 2015/16 Premier League. If he can outshine Kompany and keep City's in-form attack in check on Sunday, it will only cement this view.

Lemme give you an an example. My mentor in university, an older white woman with a doctorate, certified in her field, collaborated with a fellow male scientist. She did most of the work, it was her idea, it went well. She happened to get his resume, you needed to see what he wrote, you would think he was the principal investigator with the way he exaggerated his role in the research project. Who do you think would get hired? Who do you think would be paid more? Nobody told her to go and redo her own resume. grin Why did she tell me this? She said she noticed that girls are socialized to be modest - the quality or state of being unassuming or moderate in the estimation of one's abilities. Which I definitely agreed to. Now modesty is not bad, but never carry it into your life ambitions. But you find out girls carry that trait into situations that require Assertiveness, doggedness, which we socialize boys to have. And girls who understand this dynamic like my humble self grin are demonized for having assertive traits.
wait a minute........
so men should be blamed just because women are generally not as ambitious as the men? how's that the men's or the society's fault?

i can very much relate to what happened to your mentor in the unit. i have seen it play out right in front of my very eyes during contract negotiations.

women tend to take the first offer on the plate while men tend to haggle their fees till the cows come home. after all said & done, the same women would start crying that there's a gender discrimination lurking somewhere.

i don't have a problem with your assertive traits. we actually want to see such in women every now & then. don't just blame us men for the women who have decided to carry their modesty into their life ambitions. cool
