finally, rooney gets an away goal in the PL since december last year. there's progress.

if LVG can make him get some composure on the ball like boateng does - smalling is destined for greatness.

he's pacy, very quick over short distances but then when he gets into the opposition half, he panics and passes the ball sideways/backwards.

if he can start making more forward passes like daley blind often does then we are sorted for the foreseeable future.

what LVG should do next season is to break the bank & sign john stones. a defence of DDG, darmian, smalling, stones and shaw would rule the world pretty soon.
