Goal per minute ratio is a flawed way of rating strikers especially when they don't play in the same league. Openda and dessers played in the same league but openda scored x2 of dessers league goals, Belgium picking dessers over him is like england picking nketiah over Kane because he has a better goal per minute ratio.

If u agree that dessers was better than openda and the others only because of goal/minute, then u have to agree that vardy was the best striker in the epl last season, or dejong was the second best striker in the laliga last season, dessers was better than haller last season grin, moussa dembele was better than mbappe last season and Ibrahimovic, Scammacha and giovanni simeone where better than Osimhen last season!
Guy why are you stressing me nah cheesy. This thing is so easy to understand. I said ACROSS ALL COMPETITIONS with a special focus on European Club Competitions performance. Did Nketiah play any European football? Why are you trying to limit it to just league performance?

Bia Nwoke, I no dey like long talk. Stop trying to prolong this thing. Find another person to argue with. grin

Only lukaku and origi can bench dessers in the Belgian team. He can play if they play with 2 or more strikers even if lukaku is fit.
He might even bench origi or play alongside him.
You're right.

mertens, origi, batshuayi, benteke, ketrlaere and openda. So you believe belgium go leave all these guys go dey chase psv second choice striker?
Make una no dey decieve unaselves
1) Dessers plays for Feyenoord Rotterdam and not PSV. Do your research next time.

2) To know the quality of a Number 9 (Centre Forward), many things are required but let's just focus on these two for the purpose of clarity and to gives us a more detailed analysis :
1) Goal per minute ratio across all competitions
2) European Club Competition performance

Now let's look at and judge their performances over the recently concluded season:

1) Origi played just 598 minutes across all competitions all season. This isn't enough to judge his quality.

2) Batshuayi played 3065 minutes across all competitions all season and ended up scoring 13 goals. This means he scored 13 goals in approximately 34 matches.

3) Benteke played 1225 minutes across all competitions all season and ended up scoring 4 goals. This means he scored 4 goals in approximately 14 matches.

4) Mertens is not a natural Centre Forward. I said Number 9. He's very smart when he plays as a CF but he's more of a winger and he already has his spot on the wings whenever he's fit. 13 goals in 1736 minutes is very impressive. This gives him about 13 goals in 19 games.

5) De Ketelaere is also not a natural Centre Forward. He played 4138 minutes and scored 18 goals. This gives him 18 goals in 46 matches.

6) Openda played 3996 minutes and scored 23 goals. This gives him 23 goals in 44 matches.

7) Dessers played 2152 minutes all season and scored 21 goals. This means he scored 21 goals in 24 games. He also had six assists. This means he had 27 goal contributions in 21 games!!! Read that again.

In the Europa Conference League, Dessers scored 10 goals in just 762 minutes. This means he scored 10 goals in 8 games!! I'll leave you to check the European Club Competition performances of the other players and try comparing them to Dessers' performance.

I'm a big fan of goals per minute ratio because the minutes make the matches and not the other way around.

Note that I based my analysis on the recently concluded season. There's no saying what's going to happen next season but judging from the stats above, if Dessers had decided to play for Belgium, he deserves to be the heir apparent to that CF role, especially when Lukaku is out of form or injured. He's the most in form Belgian striker at the moment. Glad he's also Nigerian.

Let me stop here. My fingers are paining me.

Really proud of this Dessers lad.

Belgium invited Luis Openda of Vitesse to the national team and that could have been Dessers.
Exactly. With Lukaku's recent poor form, Dessers would have easily been Belgium's new number 9.

It's funny how we have two six footers leading the attack but it's a 5'4 winger making good use of his head.

if you don't tell her mother you've lost your sister's trust.

don't tell your sister. your relationship will survive that betrayal. if you want to influence your niece's life in any meaningful way, you gotta gain her trust first. then work from there.
Wow, thanks for this. This was exactly what was going through my mind and what prompted me to ask you guys first. My niece tells me almost everything so imagine how shocked I was when I saw what I saw.

Anyways, I ended up telling her grandma (my mum) about it just like heartofcity12 advised. She promised not to beat her up but to talk some sense into her. She also promised not to let her mum know about it. If she'll keep those promises, I don't know.

Have you heard that women act like cats, and men act like dogs? Ever
wondered what‘s going on? Have you ever tried to make friends with a cat, but
gave up because the cat wanted nothing to do with you?

Go over to a friend‘s house with a cat that seems to avoid being petted.
But instead of going over to the cat and trying to pet it, I want you to
completely ignore the cat.
Don‘t even look at it.
If you sit for long enough and pay NO attention to the cat, it will probably
come over and rub up against you, or walk by to see what you do.

Now, at this point most guys will reach out and try to pet the cat, thinking
―Oh, it‘s OK to pet it now that the cat is coming to me.‖
Don‘t do it!
Keep pretending that the cat doesn‘t exist.
Before you know it, the cat will be up on your lap. Guess what you should
do now? Right! Gently push it away. After doing this a few times, you‘ll have a
cat that probably won‘t leave you alone.

What‘s going on here?
Well hell if I know!
I just know that it works!
Whenever I meet a cat that I don‘t know, I always pretend like it doesn‘t
exist and wait for it to come to me. Then I push it away a few times. The cat
usually winds up on my lap purring to no end.

I often hear, ―Wow, that cat doesn‘t make friends with anyone that fast‖ or
―I‘ve never seen that cat let someone pet her so soon‖, etc. The point is that
this is the language of cats. And, interestingly enough, it‘s also a fantastic
introduction to the language of women and attraction.
Women and cats are very similar in character. Excellent observation.

A vagina is called a pussy for a reason. wink

Actually your mom will not kill her but maybe that’s what such girl needs right now, a little iron hand before she ruins herself. Let your mom be aware and let them caution/punish her on time, and she won’t repeat such anymore. Spare the rod and spoil the child.
Thanks man. I appreciate it

Martinez39s:
Hmmm. You see, people usually underestimate the impact of social media on a child's upbringing. The child has no father who leads the house, make rules, and provides strict guidance and discipline. The authoritative figures in the house are women and the little girl is under the cover of her single mother. If the women in the house are free-spirited and see nothing wrong in that behaviour, there is nothing you can do because you don't have greater authority over the girl than the women in her life whom she can run to for cover against your discipline.

Report her to the mother and other members of the family. If they, especially the mother, see nothing wrong or they treat the case with levity then there is nothing you can do since they have more authority over the girl than you.

I can say more, but this will be enough for this night. I wan sleep.
Thanks man.

Last time I checked, she wasn't on any form of social media. Perhaps, it's the music videos she watches or the movies. Her mom sometimes restricts her phone usage but it's still minimal. My mum has never been a fan of kids having phones.

If my mum hears about this grin

heartofcity12:
I personally feel you should inform your mom(her grandmother)about it, she should know better how to discuss about it with your sister(girl’s mom), she’s a 10 year old and she sure needs to be cautioned on time before she gets more damaged. Such girl needs a father figure in her life to begin with but you may need to play your part for the time being you’re there. She’s not a stranger, she’s your niece and I think there is no harm in doing what’s right to save her from herself. That’s just my personal opinion, others opinion might be different.
My mum will probably kill her or something. I've done my best to act as a father figure for her but there's nothing like a real father.

Her dad is abroad and is already making plans for her to join him over there. He got married to another woman after she was born but I don't blame him. I blame my sister who saw all his red flags and still got pregnant for him.

If I tell my mum I don't know what is going to happen. My mum is very unpredictable. Wild fire

Alright guys. Thanks for coming .I really need your advice. Saying I am confused is an understatement.

Barely 3 hours ago, I literally caught my ten year old niece making a slutty video on her personal phone that her dad bought for her last year.

I cautioned her immediately and made sure she deleted the video but I didn't raise my voice as I didn't want to alert her grandma who was asleep. I brought her aside and spoke to her like an uncle would.

Her mother(my sister) is a single mom who got pregnant out of wedlock. She's not really a bad person but she's just like every other single mother out there: Narcissistic, toxic and vindictive. She hates men with passion. We all stay in our family compound.

Usually when I hear of stories like this, I automatically assume such a child is done for no matter the amount of cautioning and flogging. Her mother was the saint of the house but she still got pregnant out of wedlock.

Now I'm confused. Do I tell her mother(my sister)? Do I tell her grandma (my mother)? Or should I just keep quiet and mind my business.

Help me out here
