Napoleon55: i have no fear about our first match,we are definitely going to trash Croatia, the lowest goal will be 3 goals. this world cup will just be like USA '94,but this time around we are going to be very careful,we won't beat Argentina in a group stage, there is no need for that,we will just play draw on group stage. because the day we beat Argentina in the WC,it's going to be a trash,we need to beat them in a way it will really pain them, like in d quarter final or semis. . I just want us to be through with them at the group stage. No need to face them in the final stages again. But if we do,it'll be a disgrace to Argentina oo. |

Icon79: Bro take it from someone who knows, you'll be surprised when you see a rejuvenated Argentine team in Russia. I am actually glad that we're not playing them first .... that would give us a chance to watch them play. Saying that Argentina isn't gonna make it out of group D is not realistic. Our best option is to beat Croatia.
And in addition, I am picking Messi to win it all this time, so what do you expect to say?
O pari . Definitely Argentina will want revenge and I'm so counting on that because by then we will counterattack and finish them off. I'm thinking of Iwobi disgracing Mascherano again like he did. Oh my,how joyful that would be to watch. I want Messi to win gold just as I want Buffon to win the champions league but definitely not at the expense of my beloved Naija and Barca. At the world cup our boys will be there fully, talking about Ighalo,Moses, etc. I so pity any defense with those two upfront. |

Dannyxy: some people are getting the jerk now.. Thank you
Mr and Mrs facts.. Let me ask you people one question..
Mahrez has been underperforming for a while, a run of six /seven games, piss performance he has been chunning out.. Yet because of sentiment, he is still been played every week, same with vardy, inconsistent performance, yet playing 90 minutes every week.. Why? Past glory.. Sentiments is a part of life, and that sentiment is affecting iheanacho, like it or not, it is a fact, that iheanacho has not played two consecutive full epl games for Leicester.. Then how can you guy say he is not performing?, honestly, do you feel he has been given a chance?
He comes in for 15 min, in a tough game against man city, and you expect him to score a heart trick, haba now.. A players gains form, from been played regularly, and the confidence instilled in from the coaches and fans..
And truth is that, the Leicester city coaches, fans, and the lots, still got their head wrapped in the team that won them the title, hence sentimental attachment to those players is much, like vardy, mahrez, and people like iheanacho would find it difficult perform, hence the concept of "the devil you know is better ,than the angel you don't know", even when the devils are performing badly, the angels doesn't get a chance...
Hence the reason why players like slimany, musa, iheanacho would continue suffer same fate, as long players like vardy ,mahrez are still in Leicester..
They are not ready to accept something new, as long the old one is still there
My piece, my opinion.... . Couldn't have said it any better. Let those who wanna accept the truth accept it. |

safarigirl: agaonst Zambia, i suppose it was your Obagoal that scored the second goal, abi?
How many goals does Martins have for us in how many games? So, we should drop a prolific Kelechi who has scored against both mediocre and top opposition, in both competitive and friendly games, both from inside the box, outside the box, spot kicks and in open play and invite Martins and his gra gra football, abi?
Kelechi that breathed life into the team with a superb free kick when it looked like Argentina would roast us? And need I mention his assists as well? Minus his 8 goals in 14 games, when you include Kelechi's ASSISTS, you will find he has been involved in our goals almost as much as Mikel has, even with less playing time. How many assists does Martins have? Or you think it is ghosts that will create chances?
There is a reason why you people are called armchair analysts. . Anyone who disputes Iheanacho's contributions to the team definitely doesn't know what he/she is talking about. I strongly want Martins back but definitely not at the expense of Iheanacho. |

slam7000: The young man isn’t ripe for the Eagles.
At 18, and not even the first choice keeper for his bundesliga 2 side. I think he is not ready for the big stage. If he is passionate about playing for Nigeria, he should come to the Flying Eagles camp and prove himself.
We should be careful of relegating our local league and giving so much privileges to European players of Nigerian descent. Playing for some unknown team in Europe should automatically qualify one to be invited to the Eagles camp. . Dude, let the guy come and have a trial. At the very least he deserves it. U can't judge until u see him perform for us. If they like, let all the 23players be foreign based or half cast,I don't care as far as they give good results. Uzoho is still 19 too, don't forget that. Weren't u impressed with his outing against Argentina? Look at Tyrone and the rest. We should be more concerned with the performance of the team and not whether they play here or abroad. If they like, let them even bring albinos,as far as the guys perform well,I'm okay. Rohr has almost never been wrong. Let him continue. I just hope Ikeme gets fit again cos we really need a good GK. |

dauntless15: bro i am still wondering who told these ladies that guys are piñatas and its unlawful to defend yourself from an aggressive woman . The reason they think so is because so many men have been conditioned by society to believe that if a woman hits u,u should just shrub it off because she's a woman. The very essence of feminism is equality and that includes or should include pain reception and endurance but the moment a woman thinks a man is more enabled to handle pain and therefore should handle pain better(by being slapped and doing nothing),that means men and women aren't equal at least not in that aspect. It means the very essence and foundation of feminism which is equality is now baseless because there is already a loophole and trust me,there are so many. That is why they keep on fighting because people see through their hypocrisy. I'v already told that lady up there what I'll do if she tries that nonsense with me. |

biacan: Never should a man hit a woman........any man that hit a woman is a clown . Oh my word,I love ladies that talk tough like you because i love proving u wrong. If u think because u'r a lady and that gives u the right to be verbally abusive with me especially in public, here's what I'll do: I'll grab u by the hair real tight, find a nearby chair, sit down, put u flat over my knees with ur ass facing up. I'll gently roll up my sleeves, and u dare not move while I'm doing so. Then I'll hit u so hard on ur right ass cheek you'll be so surprised that you'll try to fight me off and then I'll hit u again and again and again and again till u start pleading with tears dripping from ur eyes and then I'll hit u again and again and again. U will NEVER EVER in ur life think of insulting a man again let alone hitting him. Have a nice day miss. |
