Family › Re: Advice Needed: On The Verge Of Hitting My Mum by COOL10(m): 4:16pm On Nov 02, 2017
frustratedrat:
i'm short-tempered. I probably inherited that trait from my dad. Due to the way my dad handled his affairs, my mum was plunged into penury. Currently living with her. The situations of the past has made her bitter. She complains about everything.

I open the pot to take my meal, she raises her voice, i come back empty-handed, she runs me down as being a leech. I lie flat without touching anything, she comes back complaining of so many things. When she starts, i find myself exchanging words with her.

I feel bad afterwards but the cycle continues once she makes me pesky again. how do i salvage this situation? Sometimes, i'm pushed to the edge that my frustration about her slander and my predicament makes me wanna hit her.
. I wasn't going to say anything at first but seeing how judgmental people can be with their comments I decided to drop something here. First of all, calm down. Trust me when I say I understand how remorseless and inconsiderate females can be when they think u'r of little or no beneficial value to them anymore. Urs is ur mother, mine was my mum and my sisters. Here's what u should do: Stop entertaining her by reacting to her tantrums and negative speeches(it will be hard but u can and will overcome). About hitting her, well if u do,that's a burden u will carry for a long time and u will feel bad not necessarily because u felt she didn't deserve it but because u'll feel and know that ignoring her would have been a lesser burden to carry. To y'all blaming the guy for feeling bad to the point of frustration(which could lead to a lot of things including suicide) which is as a result of his mother's constant degradation of his person,u'r not only validating his mum's actions,u'r also being bias and I got a simple reply to y'all:NOT ALL MOMS ARE THE SAME. I don talk my own, bros just ignore her and with time hopefully she'll come around by being more understanding and considerate. PEACE.

maybe an inferior quality material was used to repair your phone, I suggest you take it to Microsoft accredited repair centres. It could be as simple as resetting (soft or hard) it could also be you have to change the screen with an original one
. Okay, where can I find such repair centres in ikorodu,Lagos?

I just had my lumia 430 windows phone's touchpad changed last month only 4 it to start misbehaving today again. The worst part is I can't type in my password so I basically can't do anything with it. Water didn't touch it neither did it fall from my hands. I only got rid of the screen guard yesterday because it was already pulling off. I wonder if it's an internal problem because I don't understand this rubbish. I've put it on and off many times but the phone just seems to be operating itself when it's on without me even touching it. Pls help if u can. I know U CAN.

She "resigned" from her passion in music when she got engaged.... Sure way to fail and live a miserable life. Love sure aint about forgetting what you are passionate about.... It doesnt work this way.

The only Nigerian female rapper that made any sense musically. IMHO![/quote.] I just listened to a new single of hers. Titled 'note to self' or 'letter to self'. I aint sure of the name, but one thing is certain, that song made me fall in love with naija rap again.

these points of yours are not the reason he is relocating to Israel. The persecution is mainly from the Christian fold. The Same reason Pastor Chris Oyakhilome relocated to South Africa.
. Pastor Chris never relocated to S.A. He only hosted the Loveworld Music Festival of Arts there which ended last week.

If your goal is to eventually study Medicine in US and others, state schools won't get you anywhere. Those 5 schools (add UNILAG) really know good stuff when they see one. If getting in were easy, then everyone will be doing it, and it won't be much of an achievement, would it?

Forget about state schools, and prepare to work your butt off to get into federal schools. There are a bunch of other options apart from Medicine, but you'll need to sweat it out, whatever you plan to do.

Plus, to study outside Nigeria, you're going to need a lot more than "loss of motivation" in the Nigerian system.
. Let's just say I've tried both sides of the coin I.e both state and federal. Anyways,I really appreciate your replies. Just being curious,do you in anyway know exactly when Jamb reg ends,I heard pretty soon?

SirJeffry:
Use google and search for "Keck School of Medicine of USC". USC stands for University Of Southern California. The school is immigrant friendly, check their website and apply. As a foreign student, you must have had a bachelors degree in Nigeria evaluated by certificate evaluators like WES(world education services). Their evaluation is about $200 or so.

To study medicine here, your sponsors gotta have a strong bank statement whether abroad or here. Last year, I signed as a sponsor for a cousin who came with the pretence of doing masters and they asked for a bank statement with at least $33,000 annual turn over. Medicine will surely be much higher.

Another reason I chose USC is that alot of schools are struggling with accreditation now so one gotta be careful when scouting for one. Also California is immigrant friendly.

For other info, check the school website.
Thank you.
