Sugarboyy:
An employer said they can't afford their employee $100,000 monthly and you are saying they were greedy. You give NFF the $100,000 monthly just to keep and pay Peseiro and they still refused to do so?
Imagine this: you’re the employee. Your employer reduces your salary, but also sets a target for you to deliver big results. You go above and beyond, exceed the target, and secure an even bigger achievement for the company, yet when it comes time for your reward, your boss insists on paying you the same reduced salary, while still owing you months of back pay.

That was exactly what Peseiro went through with the NFF. He agreed to a pay cut, took Nigeria to the AFCON final, but when time came for contract renewals, they decided not to increase his salary. If na you, shey you go take am?

I wouldn't be surprised if the only reason Peseiro allegedly requested 100k was because of the salary arrears that the NFF owed him and probably still do till this day.

You’ve got the wrong info
Peseiro was not sacked, his contract expired
He wanted $100,000 salary for renewal and they said they didn’t have the money
You're right, his contract expired but let’s not lose the bigger picture. Peseiro agreed to a pay cut to stay. Despite the pay cut, he still surpassed the semi-final target the NFF set for him, yet when it came to renewal, they offered him the same terms (according to multiple reports) . It all boils down to the NFF’s greed, incompetence and shortsightedness.

Sadly they are all talk and no understanding. They're fat with corruption and ego. See the latest statement of Gusau on Falcons mata. Smh. These guys are here to enjoy quota and not serve or focus on leaving a legacy of success. The positions are not a competition but a reward for jamboree.

Iwobi best years were under Rohr.
I lost faith in the NFF a long time ago. They're just a bunch of confused, incompetent folks masquerading as sports administrators. From mishandling the timing of Rohr's sack, to sacking Peseiro, a man who took us to the AFCON Final despite all odds. They're just so poor at their jobs yet they expect the best from the players. It's laughable.

Typical Naija reaction

These guys are not loyal. Why be say dem go come national team begin play rubbish but return to their clubs begin bang goals?

The Reality:

This is like putting a straw in an anthill and sucking it thinking water will come through. Our set up is terrible for attacking flair. We don't even prioritize player's strengths. We only sabi invite. A case study is Onyedika that was on the bench and Ndidi played all through. Man know man approach is not factored in.

Iwobi is our best attacking midfield outlet. But since Rohr, he's been struggling but he still ensures nobody contributes to attack than him till date. Despite that struggling tag on him. Since he arrived Fulham, they've never ever deployed him the way he plays at Fulham. one would think his performance vs Man U would help but they still play him deep and expect him to shine like his uncle JJ. Dessers was thrown under the bus by the Media officer of NFF just out of spite and lack of understanding of the setup of this team. Most of them only sabi 442 of old. Nothing more. Ask them to explain Gengenpressing or Joga Bonita now and they'll stammer. I doubt they watch Dessers at his club for understanding how he plays. This is one player that banging goals is no problem for him. But it changes every time it is GWG. I know not everyone will fit in and all that but until they begin to prioritize player's strengths over myopic nostalgia, we'll continue to struggle. Merino struggles for Arsenal but shines for spain. Two different approach. System player if you like. He shines for arsenal when deployed how he's deployed in Spain. Westerhof understood all of this.
Bro, you hit the nail on the head. Everything you said is the truth.

For years I've been saying the same thing about Iwobi; he needs to be played in and around the D (the arc of the box).

In a 4-3-3, his best role is either as a CAM, where he can arrive late into the box and finish with those calm one-touch strikes into the far corner, or as an inside winger operating in the half-spaces, threading those deadly diagonal passes. Playing him as a deep CM has never made sense.

In a 4-4-2 or 3-5-2, Iwobi should be deployed as a SS. If anyone doubts this, just rewatch our 4-2 win over Argentina in 2018. That was "beast in the middle" Iwobi. He was direct, creative and dangerous.

Now to Dessers: I've said this over and over, but many people still ignore the truth. Dessers is one of the most intelligent center forwards in the Super Eagles right now. His movement, positioning, ball control, and finishing are elite. But if you surround him with teammates who can’t read his diagonal and curved runs, then of course you'll never see his best.

Examples speak louder than words:

1) His headed goal vs Mexico.

2) The chest control and beautiful finish vs Jamaica.

3) That world-class strike vs Man United. Look at the ball control, quick turn, and left-footed rocket.
Dessers is two-footed in front of goal. If I remember correctly, he scored around 8 goals last season with his weaker left.

And it’s not just goals: he’s become more selfless, registering 8-9 assists last season. For a CF, that’s massive.

Until our coaches, fans, and those wanna-be OAPs and quack journalists drop the sentiment and start actually watching these players properly, we'll stay stuck. Imagine having two incredible players like Iwobi and Dessers and still not knowing how to use them. That’s the real tragedy.

Pic 2: Maori Christians from New Zealand performed the Haka, a traditional war dance that expresses strength, unity, and respect as their tribute to Charlie Kirk.

Charlie Kirk’s memorial today was nothing short of historic. Today, thousands of people gathered to honor the life of Charlie Kirk. A stadium filled with what some say was up to a 100,000 people stood as proof that his life and message struck a chord far beyond what anyone expected.

From the music, prayers, and chants, to the sheer energy of the crowd, the atmosphere felt more like a movement gathering than a memorial. It wasn’t about mourning in silence; it was about showing strength, unity, and faith on a massive scale.

If anyone thought his passing would silence what he stood for, today’s turnout proved the exact opposite. The packed stadium spoke louder than words: Charlie Kirk may be gone, but his influence is only growing. A million more Charlie Kirks have been created all over the world.

You've played your part Charlie. It's now left for us to play ours. Continue to rest in the love and care of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. 😊🙏

Trump and Elon working together is one of the worst nightmares of the lunatic left. Those pictures of them sitting together, shaking hands and even laughing with each other has caused a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth amongst the DEMONcrats. grin

Charlie's wish will come through. Trump and Elon will definitely settle their differences. If the lunatics on the left felt threatened by Trump and Elon's initial tag team, then they need to get ready for round 2. It's going to be explosive!!! 💥😄

I'm not surprised the women on this forum are warning the woman to keep quiet and hide the truth from her husband. Tomorrow, these same vile and heartless beings will expect men to support, defend and protect them. They also expect us to show sympathy/empathy whenever they're in trouble. I laugh in Greek. They ain't seen nothing yet grin
Foreign Affairs › Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by COOL10(m):
Why are the DEMONcrats so annoyed by something so beautiful, spiritual and encouraging as people returning to God because of Charlie Kirk, a man whom they martyred?

It's pretty simple... They never envisaged something good and highly positive would come out of this. It's shocking to them. They thought removing Charlie would make people afraid to speak out but now they feel even more threatened in Charlie's death than they did when he was alive 🤣. Crazy stuff. grin

It's only the devil and his children that get angry when people embrace the truth and teachings of Jesus Christ. The DEMONcrats have shown times without number that they're the children of the devil. Even when one decides to give them the benefit of doubt, they always end up disappointing that person by showing their disgusting true colors.

They never knew their attempts to remove Charlie from the picture would turn him into a martyr and make people more vibrant for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and hungry to spread the truth. They unintentionally created a million more Charlie Kirks. They shot themselves in the foot without knowing. Isn't that ironic? God is good, All the time!!!😄🤣

God bless you. I’m gonna pray for you. May the demons of hatred leave you and love fill your heart. May the merciful God lead you onto the right path. Amen.
You mock another man’s death, then accuse those who call out that wickedness of ‘hatred’? If 'sick in the head' were a person, you would be a perfect fit. And the most laughable part? A DEMONcrat talking about casting out demons from someone else 🤣. Irony just died on the spot.

Since you want to pray, let me help you out:

May you finally stop being a brainwashed puppet of the lunatic left media. May you ask God for forgiveness for every hateful thing you’ve said, felt, and done against people simply because they held different political or religious views. And may God give you the courage to accept truth without crucifying it all over again. Amen.

Now, while you chew on that… here are more testimonies to remind you what real transformation looks like 😎:

Don’t worry about me, worry about why so many people are finding Christ again while you’re busy intentionally ignoring the obvious. Using mental gymnastics to dodge the truth doesn't make it disappear 😄.

And the funniest part? Someone who laughed at another man’s death now wants to lecture me about being Christ-like 🤣. You should be ashamed of yourself.

If Christ Himself were here today, it’s people like you who would crucify Him all over again, simply because your fragile little hearts can’t handle the truth.

Speaking of which… here’s another testimony for you 😎:

Republicans aren’t like the spoiled, petulant little children called DEMONcrats who run to the streets to loot, burn, and destroy whenever trouble hits.

Republicans turn to God instead because that’s the hallmark of a true Christian, something the DEMONcrats will never know anything about, because their hearts are eternally hateful.

By the way, if you think it's only Republicans that are finding their way to church, you might want to have a rethink. The guy below is just one of the plethora of ex-DEMONcrats who had no choice but to RUN AWAY from the stinking left 😆🤣:

Congrats, you just did what Satan did in the wilderness… quote Scripture out of context to sound deep. At least the devil had the excuse of being the devil. What’s yours? Ignorance, or a ploy to distract from the point being made.

Y'all can’t quench this fire. I know y’all hate the fact that people are returning to God because of Charlie. Your attempts to destroy his ideologies failed terribly, because his voice is even louder now. Those pathetic celebrations after his death failed even harder, and it’s clearly eating y'all alive. 🤣

Y'all removed probably the only person in the entire Republican Party who was always willing to have a conversation with the left. How senseless was that?

Now y'all have ended up creating a million more Charlie Kirks, only this time more RADICAL. The backfire is hilarious. 😆🤣

The lunatic leftists commit and justify all sorts of evil, demonic behavior, yet they wonder why more and more Americans continue to abandon the Democratic party on a daily basis.

If prior to yesterday, they was any chance of the DEMONcrats reclaiming power after Trump's tenure, that chance evaporated into nothingness the very moment that assassin pulled the trigger.
