I said it here on Wednesday that I hope our loss against PSG wouldn't demoralise our players to the point where they'll lose this weekend.

The boys looked extremely tired. No energy whatsoever. That midfield was useless. Apart from that assist, Pedri was terrible. Olmo was nowhere to be found. De Jong was disappointing. Ferran looked lost being played on the wings. Cubarsi was also disappointing.

Roony got one shot wrong and in a bid to redeem himself, took more misplaced shots when he could have easily passed the ball. Kounde looked gassed out. Balde should have done better to stop that third goal. It was just a lethargic performance all round. They have obviously not recovered from the PSG game.

Rashford was the only bright light in the entire match and to make matters worse, it seems like he picked up an injury towards the end of the match.

It's funny how some men feel that standing up for women makes them noble. If only they knew how foolish and desperate they look in the minds of the very same women they try so hard to impress. grin

So pathetic undecided

Considering the players that were selected, we'll probably be better off playing a 3-5-2.

*Proof Only Jews Have The Right To Claim Israel*

*1 In Islams religious book called the quoran,*
*Palestine is not mentioned once in the quoran?*
If the land belongs to Palestine it would be mentioned in the quoran

Unlike Israel that is mentioned many times by God in the Bible.
AND
Unlike Israel mentioned many times by allah in the Quoran.

*2* The God of the Bible states clearly the land belongs to Jews.

Gen 15:18 KJV
In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying,
Unto *thy seed have I given this land,* from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

*Again allah too in the quoran states that the land belongs to the Jews*

Surah 5
(20)And (remember) when Moses said unto his people: O my people!
Remember Allah's favour unto you, how He placed among you prophets,
and He made you kings, and gave you that (which) He gave not to any (other) of (His) creatures.
(21) O my people! *Go into the holy land which Allah hath ordained for you.*
Turn not in flight, for surely ye turn back as losers:
(22) They said: O Moses! Lo! a giant people (dwell) therein and lo!
we go not in till they go forth from thence. When they go forth from thence, then we will enter (not till then).

*So with both God & allah saying the land belongs to the jews, why is islam calling for the destruction of Israel?*
It's the same thing I've been saying for a long time now, but guess what? The terrorists and their sympathisers will never admit the truth. All they care about is spreading lies (taqqiya) and expecting the world to see them as the victims they're obviously not.

Israel is mentioned about 43 times in the Quran and Palestine is not mentioned even once, yet the unrepentant lying terrorists and their sympathisers keep thinking they can deceive us with their taqqiya. grin

The next thing they'll say is that modern day Israelis don't share the same blood as the Israelites of old. Ask them to bring DNA proof that shows at least 95% of modern day Israelis do not share the same blood as the biblical Israelites, and you'll see them run away. grin

They have no proof yet they keep saying rubbish. It's like saying biracial Nigerians with European blood are no longer Nigerians because of their light skin complexion grin . How foolish and racist is that?

My major concern now is the possibility of tonight's loss demoralising our boys to the point where they may end up losing this weekend's match against Sevilla.

Yamal couldn't end a Nuno with yellow, that's a blow to him.

Worse,he wasn't tracking back to help Kounde.

Flick killed the game,no much talk.☹️
Flick didn't manage the game well at all. When De Jong and eventually Olmo got yellow carded, I kept shouting for him to make a change because I knew Michael Oliver won't hesitate to give us a red. He should have brought on Christensen and Casado earlier than he did.

It was indeed a game of Titans. I'm not happy we lost but I'm also not too sad. It was a good scoreline befiting of the calibre of the match. I would have been more worried if we lost 3:0 or 4:0. grin

Martin did pretty good today according to his standard. At least he didn't lose possession in dangerous zones. I can count multiple cross he successfully blocked or pushed to corner.
Kounde was nowhere to be found. You have Eric coming to function as auxiliary RB to Kounde.

Kounde can't run, losing possession everywhere, tripping, no awareness
Martin just looked too slow to me. Only God knows how many times I screamed at my screen trying to tell him not to overlap because I knew he doesn't have the pace to track back.

Kounde was overwhelmed because Lamine wasn't tracking back enough. It's not easy handling Barcola and Nuno at once.

Something is off with Yamal and we must stop the praises.

Ever since he took on number 10, he has lost it.
Lamine did well in the first half. He looked non-existent in the second half because he didn't receive much of the ball and you can't expect an 18 year old to physically outmuscle Nuno Mendes especially when Nuno makes those dangerous runs.

Later we'll hear we pay the refs blah blah blah, Araujo did almost the same thing and he got a straight red, we gassed out in the second half I've never seen us throw so many misplaced passes before, rough night for us but I'll rather lose this than in the knockouts
Whenever I see Michael Oliver and Anthony Taylor officiating a match, I'm usually tempted to change the channel because I know they must make at least two wrong calls in the match. They're so terrible at what they do.

Our boys played well in the first half but switched off in the second half. We really missed Raphinha and Fermin who are constant goal threats.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by COOL10(m): 10:00pm On Oct 01, 2025
Flick made a big mistake by removing Rashford. He was literally our biggest attacking threat. Lamine Yamal did almost nothing in the second half and should have been removed for Lewa with Rashford taking his spot.

As for Michael Oliver, I have never liked him for anything. He's such an overrated referee and a very poor one at that. How he refused to give Nuno Mendes a second yellow is mind boggling.

Eric Garcia was amazing today. Solid Rock.

Gerard Martin was probably the poorest of them all today.

A lot of women want us to stop talking about the importance of DNA tests so that the secrets they've promised themselves to take to the grave won't be exposed. They're so scared right now grin

As for the men supporting the women against DNA tests, I pity you. You will soon hear wheeeeeeeeeeeen grin

Not covering for NFF but they did offer 70k up from the 50s he was earning.

Either ways, he wasn't sacked.
Every reputable outlet I've seen reported that he was offered the same $50k.

But let's even assume for argument's sake that he was offered $70k.

Didn't the NFF cut his salary from $70k to $50k in the first place? Yes.
Didn't they still owe him months of that reduced pay? Yes.
Didn't he then surpass the semi-final target by getting to the AFCON final? Yes.

So why would any coach in his right mind accept going back to $70k under the same people who have a history of slashing and owing salaries? Think about it.

At the end of the day, the NFF's problem isn't just about the figure they put on paper. It’s their ingrained culture of slashing, owing and mismanagement. A culture of outright reprehensible behavior.

Whatever the cases are, I feel the NFF sees $100,000 monthly salary to be too big not simply because of Peseiro but because they don't have the money. It's better to agree on what they can afford to pay.
Don't forget this same Peseiro wasn't exceptional, he only got it right at the NC. He was and his team was abysmal prior and after the NC. He left feeling like Pep because he took the SE to the NC final, he went to Zamalek and where is he now? Jobless because he was immediately sacked by Zamelek.
Bro, you’re missing the point. Forget what he did elsewhere and focus on the contract the NFF gave him.

Did they set a semi-final target? Yes.
Did he surpass it by getting us to the final? Yes.

Now tell me, how do you cut a man’s salary from $70k to $50k, still owe him months of that reduced pay, and then expect him to happily renew? That’s wickedness from the NFF.

I don’t blame Peseiro for requesting $100k. When you’re dealing with employers who have that unrepentant spirit of 'owing salaries' coded into their DNA, if you ever have a chance to renegotiate contractual terms, you need to shoot for the stars and pray to land on the moon. That's exactly what Peseiro did.
