If these terrorists are given a state, they'll end up destroying it under two weeks and then blame Israel for it just like they did with Gaza in 2005.

I didnt say its you who said it. The same thing you are saying now about Rwanda thats what many people said about Zimbabwe, infact some said its going to be 4-0, giving all manner of justifications. Now again you are saying the same thing about Rwanda not having anything to play for.
You said "Una", thereby grouping me with those who said those things, meanwhile I didn't. That's false categorization.

In that particular statement you quoted, I clearly mentioned that the match was tough because it was a derby. That alone should have told you that I never underestimated Zimbabwe because when it comes to derbies, especially between two nations, bad form usually flies out the window. It's usually a WAR.

As for Rwanda, like I said earlier, I may end up being wrong, but I just don't see them giving SA as much a fight as Zimbabwe did.

What a country, thy Glory o Nigeria is sl__n on a low place ooo. Just ngodu, what this player are turning people to

I was surprised I was breathing fast during the last minute of Friday's match
I thought I was detached from having attachments on football, but that day thought me otherwise.
O chim
Nigeria we hail there ooh!
Even though I still believe we can become better than this
Breathing fast keh? Abeg oo, for the sake of your health, on Tuesday, don't watch the match; don't listen on the radio; don't even check the results online. You can check the results later. Win or lose, those boys are made for life. Health comes first oh.

But na so una too talk against Zimbabwe that
-they have nothing to play for,
-that they are neighbours,
-They used SouthAfrica as home
- they have kept a clean sheet before
- they are last in the group, yada yada.

This is football bro, Rwanda can even beat SA
I never said anything about Zimbabwe with regards to those things you listed. Get your facts right lest you end up making false accusations. You must have mistaken my moniker for someone else's.

Hmmm. Knowing our team under Eric Chelle so far, I'm not expecting anything tangible coming out of the first half.

It's in the second half that the entire drama will start.
You may have a point but I think Tuesday will be different. We'll see a lot of determination from the boys that day and I feel it'll lead to two early goals for us. The only problem is that we're too error prone, especially towards the end of each half. That match will be a high intensity game and our players will gas out quickly, and I feel that's where Benin will capitalize to make it 2:2 or 3:2

God forbid o. I reject 3-2 for us o. If Benin score a single goal against us - just one - then we're in big trouble.
I see us scoring two early goals in the first half. The players will be excited, Nigerians will be celebrating only for Benin to make it 2:1 before the first half ends. In the second half, we'll probably make it 3:1 and then Benin will score a late second goal thereby making it 3:2 OR Benin will make it 2:2 and the match ends that way.

That match will be one of a kind. cheesy

Rwanda don't have anything to play for again. I won't be surprised if South Africa beats them 4:1 or 5:0. Zimbabwe only gave South Africa a tough test because it was a derby. I may be wrong but I feel South Africa will find Rwanda easier to beat than Zimbabwe.
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by COOL10(m): 10:47am On Oct 11, 2025
Tuesday's match against Benin will be bloody. I see a 2:2 draw or 3:2 win for Nigeria. The only problem is South Africa's match against Rwanda. They'll do all they can to win because they're playing at home. Even Moetsepe the President of CAF (who's a South African) may be present in the stadium that day. Wuruwuru go plenty that day. Everything points to a South African victory.

This is why I hate Permutations and Combinations. I don't joke with my peace of mind. grin

Rohr is a very good and tactical coach. He knows what he needs to do to achieve his target 🎯. He made 2018 world cup qualifier a walk in the park for us. But some set of fans who were obsessed with champagne free flowing attacking football called for his sack because they found his football style boring. I must admit that I have never seen a foreign coach that understands our football dynamics like him.
Thanks for acknowledging and speaking the truth. Those fans you mentioned including the OAPs, journalists, ex-internationls, e.t.c are responsible for where we are today but pride and foolish arrogance won't let them accept the truth.

Rohr understood our players in and out and formed a philosophy that suits their capabilities. That philosophy was so potent that the only reason Peseiro succeeded in taking us to last AFCON's final was because he adopted Rohr's philosophy. That again is another truth that Nigerians are unwilling to accept. Too much pride and arrogance.

Where are those people who said that Benin would never beat Rwanda?

It's like you people don't know this man:

Some call him Papa Rohr, others call him Daddy Gernot Rohr, while I call him Odogwu Gernot Rohr. This man knows how to make his haters swallow their words. Under him we never had to do Permutations and Combinations to qualify. I remember when some said that the only reason he kept on qualifying us for tournaments with ease was because of our so called "Superstars" 🤣.

They chased him away and now he's about to take a team of relatively unknown players from Benin to the World Cup, while our so called Superstars are busy praying heavily for others to lose their matches. Una no dey shame!!! 🤣

the painful is that he was sack for just no reason after he done suffer carry us reach playoffs because in the eyes of Nigeria any coach and coach our team not knowing football is a game of tactics. Dry let him go when he was ripe to win us titles. Na him players piesero use take go final. U see this African coaches their own na just to play attacking football without brain
Bro, back then, multiple OAPs, journalists and so called ex internationals didn't allow us hear word. Even if they wanted to sack him, at least they should have allowed him take us to that 2021 AFCON. Instead the NFF employed Eguavoen few weeks to the tournament and then he got us knocked out at the Round of 16, and eventually failed to qualify us for the 2022 World Cup.

The funny thing is that Peseiro only succeeded at the last AFCON because he adopted Gernot Rohr's strategy. Nigerians hate the truth.
