JoshTim: How dare you call iwobi genius?...chai, and you self go come out say you sabi ball. How dare you quote me in an uncivilized manner? Are you a tout? Are you a street urchin? Don't you know that most of the chances that Osimhen has missed so far in this tournament were created by Iwobi? Who passed the ball from deep to Osimhen that created a one-on-one chance with the goalkeeper which he eventually missed? Who passed the ball to Sanusi in that match against Equatorial Guinea? Who sent Osimhen multiple passes even when he was asked to play deeper than usual? Know your facts before you write anything on the internet. |

Icon4s: Thank God for that own-goal. If it had gotten to Osimhen he could have missed it. People will always create excuses for him because they prefer him to others. If you calculate all his misses so far in this tournament, you're going to be heading towards double digits. That's very poor for a striker of his calibre. |

tolurx: Nigerian midfield is totally non-existent. Iwobi is not playing. What did you expect? He's the only creative genius in that midfield. |

yinkeys: Hopefully our striker stops misfiring See Senegal One decent or half chance & they scored Make dem no unleash lethal finish against us You're right. The irony of it all is that prior to the start of the tournament, we all thought that our attack would be our strongest point. Surprisingly, that hasn't been the case. Osimhen needs to sit up and quickly too. |

I can't wait to have Iheanacho and Iwobi playing together. Iheanacho is going to boss that right half-space and give room to Aina to over-lap and deliver dangerous crosses.
If Osimhen fails to score, even with Iheanacho and Iwobi being right there to feed him those SEXY PENETRATION PASSES, then he needs to be given a seat on the bench. No room for mediocrity in a tournament like the AFCON.
Perhaps, coming on as a substitute will put him in the right state of mind to be more clinical in front of goal. |

PDPGuy: Amokachi with another banger 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I laughed so hard when he shouted "that's a penalty; that's a penalty," after he watched the replay of Osimhen getting fouled in the box. 😆 He even had to remind the South African commentator of a similar event in Egypt's match against Mozambique. 😆 |
