Reasons for sale -

1. Its a fast moving vehicle - ask motor dealers (even the road side hustler car sellers) how many camry 2007-2011 they have sold. inspired may help yu out on that.

2. It acquired a status level in major companies thus it flooded the market (official cars. . .rentals e.t.c) and surely a time would come for them to be sold off

3. Good re-sale value in Nigeria. most peeps bought the car (tokunbo) for N2.7m to N3.1m and after 4 years (well maintained) are still being offered around N1.7m - N2m for the cars. . . .good deal. only few cars used in naija have that re-sale value ratio to cost however well maintained.

As someone said earlier. . . .how you maintain the car matters, almost every car you google on has a complaints history that'l always give you a second thought bout buying them.

i believe watbas offer of his office in ikeja would have been very ideal - space, private, proximity to mosque, parking lot and eatery around, cost saving. it goes beyond the meal but the ambiance, serenity and privacy of the venue where members can freely chatter, network and increase religious knowledge from discussions without the consideration of various factors such as - time, disturbing privacy of other users around and cost.

as it stands, we'l need people to offer quick suggestions and take prompt decision to aid those willing to attend in planning ahead.

Another timely piece. i almost bought a house around a suburb in egbeda area. A newly built house of about 3 years but the search revealed it was under FAAN acquisition. The vendors agent was of opinion it doesnt matter as pple have been living in that area for years but my lawyer advised against it. What if tomorrow, FAAN decides to take it over nko? Well, i have moved on and recently got involved in another property around Ikosi and this acquisition thing came up again during the search but this time around, its was under the ratification clause lands of lagos. now i'm smiling. . . .thanks to lawyer

What i have over time realised is that we property buyers sometimes allow our sentiments affect our decision and easily swayed by what people (omo-onile and agents who have stake in the commission they will get) say at expense of professional advise which even if you are paying for is better than losing millions in future.
